The ray rams the boat one last time, undoing the repairs that had just been done, but at least not breaking the boat completely apart. It misses wildly with its tail due to the fact that it's tail has several deep cuts in it and it no longer seems to be able to accurately control its tail movement. Sanura's ray hits it solidly and it writhes in pain.
Arioch and Garan still to act this round. The rest of you can go ahead and post actions for next round

Quentin Silverhome |

"Honest" Fineal |

Fin hits the ray with another bolt as it comes near.
Just realized I haven't been applying Point Blank Shot this whole fight. If it applies, 20, 6 damage

Adrick Balasar |

hey guys to make it easier to heal ya can you please place your current HP at the top of your post
Placing his hand in his pouch Adrick draws forth his symbol of Sarenrae and readies it. He then places his hand on the boat and begins to cast his own Mending (1d4=2)spell.
He then yells to his comrades "Lads lets finish this beast off quickly. Not sure how much more the boat can take"

Sanura Agashti |

Lynora de Trevante |

The ray rams the boat one last time, but it seems a little weaker blow than before. The boat is still leaking substantially though, and starting to sink a bit. Quentin and Fin both strike the ray solidly as does Sanura. Its struggles are getting significantly weaker and as it tries to swim away, Garan finally connects with a shot from his crossbow and the creature goes limp. For now the large body of the ray floating underneath you is keeping your boat from sinking too far.

Quentin Silverhome |

24/30 hp right now, but my normal max is 36hp. I just have the 3 con damage. If one of you with heal could help me with that second check against the poison I would appreciate it though. More worried about the con loss then the hit points.
Quentin gives the ray one more solid jab with his rapier just to be sure and then looks to the others. "I suspect that the boat needs the most urgent attention if you talented fellows still have any remaining power to help repair it. My leg is burning pretty bad though where it stung me, though, so once you are sure we aren't going to be sinking, I could probably use a bit of looking after myself."

Quentin Silverhome |

Looks like Adrick has a pretty good heal check. He should be able to make a heal roll if he is tending us and we can still make our fort saves, and if either one of those passes the poison DC we should be good. So assuming we don't roll bad on both sides that will help a lot. Healing up won't be too hard after. We can sleep off the con damage over a few days, or with lesser restoration just being second level, Adrick could probably fix us up when he preps spells.

Adrick Balasar |

The First thing Adrick does after combat is he raise his holy symbol in the air and says " Mi Lady Sarenrae, shine your radiant light on those who would serve your cause and heal them of their pain."
Channel Positive Energy (2d6=12)
Once thats done Adrick places his symbol back in his pouch then calls over to Quentin and Fin and says " Now, lets get a look at these wounds from the stinger." Adrick takes out his healer's kit and begins to dress the poisoned wounds giving 3 checks... 1 for Quin, 1 for Fin and 1 extra in case someone else needs
Healing (1d20+10=25)

Arioch the Gillman |

"I have an idea to help with the boat!", diving down to cut out piece of the ray from the bottom.

Lynora de Trevante |

While Arioch was busy implementing his idea, those with the ability to cast mending are able to get the boat reasonably well-repaired, but it does not seem to be as watertight as it was.
If Arioch can get a few aid anothers you all should be able to fasten the manta ray skin tightly onto the outside of the boat.

Quentin Silverhome |

Thats my die roll for an aid another check. Wasn't sure what skill it was, if it was survival, I got a 12. Profession(sailor), I got a 13, so either way I aided.
Quentin slips out of the boat into the water to help Arioch fasten bits of the ray. He paddles comfortably in the water as he helps the gillman work.

The check is either profession sailor or craft boatbuilding.

If the beast hasn't already sunk to the depths, slice up whatever is edible, and toss it into the boat, and send the carcass down to the depths for the gods to feed upon.
You are able to harvest enough meat from the carcass to last you all for a couple of days before you run out of room in the dinghy to store it.

Lynora de Trevante |

I have returned!
*continues to mend the boat if needed*
Oh, it's needed. :) Actually, I just assumed that he was working on that while the others were attaching the manta ray skin to the boat. It's all fixed and even slightly improved. Unless somebody has something pressing they want to do, I'm going to advance you guys a couple of days to your next encounter.

If we are moving forward a couple of days, I will use 'mend' as well to secure the ray's hide to the bottom of the boat.

Okay, great. That boat is in really good shape now.:) Anyone who has spells has them back. It's been two uneventful days since the battle with the manta ray.

Nimm Qa'dim |

Fin sits up. "What? A ship!" He gets up and move to the front of the dingy. "Alright people, full speed ahead! Remember, let me do the talking!" He grins widely.
"And exactly what will ye be sayin'? What's our stance here? I vote we join up! A privateer's liable to need a good crew of hard cases like ourselves. And besides, at the very least they can aim us toward the right coastline!"

"Honest" Fineal |

"Well, that just about sums it up. I'll just say it in a more convincing way."

Lynora de Trevante |

"Ahoy there," a woman calls cheerfully from the deck of the ship. "Need a lift?"
Quentin:

Gracie Fisher |

Quentin chuckles a bit to himself and then pushes up to his feet in the boat, waving up to the approaching ship. "Ahoy, up there! We certainly could use a lift." He gives a bit of a bow towards the boat. "Well met, Gracie. It has been some time."
"Do I know you? You do look a little familiar... No offense meant. I meet a lot of people in my line of work."
"Come on you lot, let's get this lot on board, quickly now."A rope ladder is lowered for you to climb up, and a couple of burly sailors, a half-orc and a half-giant, move to tie up the dinghy and raise it up out of the water.

Quentin Silverhome |

Quentin waits to let the others climb up the ladder first, waiting to help balance the boat until they are up and then following after. He shakes his head a bit. "No offense, of course. It has been many years since last we met, but I hail from Mertan's Cove as well. Though I can't say I have been home too recently."

"Well that would explain it," she said with an amused twinkle in her eyes. "You were probably about two feet shorter the last time I saw you, it's been that long since I was last in Mertan's Cove."
"So how did you lot end up in a dinghy in the middle of the ocean? There has to be some story to that."

"Honest" Fineal |

"So how did you lot end up in a dinghy in the middle of the ocean? There has to be some story to that."
Fin quickly scampers up the ladder, bowing at the woman when he reaches the deck. "Greetings my dear, I'm Honest Finial, Purveyor of Quality Goods. Now my dear, you are right in believing there is an interesting story behind this. You see, we all had the misfortune to have been shanghaied into a sailor's job. Now, you remember that big storm a week back? Well, it wasn't a very good ship and it sunk. We're all just lucky we managed to get to this dinghy in time." He then flashes her a winning smile, and he seems to be utterly trustworthy.
Bluff: 28

Gracie Fisher |

"Honest" Fineal |

"Well it was a-" he continues before suddenly looking seriously at her. "Listen, if you're going to try to humor me at least put a little effort in it. Alright, some of them got a little rowdy and the captain tossed all the new "recruits" into a dinghy. Wasn't lying about the storm, though. We could of just rowed home if we weren't blown all the way over here."
Diplomacy: 16 Oh, I missed IC giving me bad rolls.

Gracie Fisher |

"No offense intended, 'Honest' Fineal. I do enjoy a good story, and it sounded like you had the makings of one started there. It also sounds like the truth is even more interesting. So how about somebody starts at the beginning and tells me exactly what happened. In fact, why don't you tell me over an honest-to-goodness-not-fish dinner. That sound alright?"

Quentin Silverhome |

Quentin smiles to Gracie and nods some. "Yes, it would have been in my youth. I saw your departure, and truth be told it was some of the tales of your travels that encouraged me to make my way at sea rather then stay a lubber."
Chuckling a bit himself, Quentin shakes his head, glancing at Fin. "I'm afraid our friend here has quite a way of massaging the truth to his liking, but he is quick with his tongue and has proven to be quite capable on our journey. I am sure that all of us would appreciate a true meal and we can tell you of our trials since we have been lumped together."
