i have a good question for the trait and campaign trait im taking rich parent and duskwalker agent...
now as a fighter ave start gold is 175...do i add the bonus from the duskwalker agent to the 175 making it 350+ 900 (rich parent)=1250
or do i add it to the bonus of
1075 (fighter ave + 900 rich parent) x 2(duskwalker agent) making it 2150

I don't have a problem with evil alignments but I know at least one character was talking LG cleric so the question is can you get along reasonably well? What is going to motivate a group with alignments all over the board to stay together?
In any case I'm not an alignment nazi, play what you want.

One of the traits needs to be a "Campaign Trait" spelled out on pages 9-11 of the LoF players guide. If you don't have it I can sketch out what the traits are for you.

i suppose i might take my Le rogue in another PBP sometime if theres no other choice, and roll a good char,
also i don't have the players guide
It's up to you, you don't really need the player guide. The only thing in it that you need to build your character is the character traits which I can help you out with.

Sarenrae is NG, not LG, but the same problem applies.
I'm going to let Rob play the cleric, which leaves me with arcane caster.
I kind of want to play a wizard, none of the schools are speaking to me at the moment. Perhaps conjurer or transmuter.
If I play a sorcerer, I'm looking at the Blue Dragon, Fire Element, or Infernal bloodlines. Since Flash wants to make a fire-aligned sorceror, that would lead me to the other two.
I'll mull this over.

I am soooo in a Sorcerer kick at the moment. The Bloodlines have seriously made them my favourite Class. I have all kinds of Sorcerer concepts running around in my head. Five of my PbP characters I have made (well 6 including this one) have Sorcerer thrown in somewhere in their build.
Blue Dragon Disciple was going to be my first choice. I also thought about a "fish out of water" Silver Dragon Disciple as well, but then I remembered the Vudrani Fire Monk concept I had thought up but didn't get a chance to play with, so I threw that into the pot. The character will primarily be Melee, even though there will be Sorcerer levels in the mix.Oh and hey we have 3 RPG Superstars in this game... that should make things Dazzle! ;)

I really like the bloodlines also... maybe my favorite PfRPG change.

I would love to see someone make a Dragon Disciple shine in melee. I tried and was a little disappointed. I think I can make it work but not yet.

Almost had 4. Hope I'm up to snuff ;)

I am attempting it: Charsis Wyrmscale. He goes 4 levels of Red Draconic Sorcerer next, then straight into Red Dragon Disciple all the way.
I'm also attempting it with an Abyssal Bloodline as well Yarden Talazac.
She'll be a flyby attacking/ground combat claws Meleeist. She has more complexity to make it work though. There are 4 levels of Fighter and 2 of Rogue thrown into her build at certain intervals.
I'm also tossing around an Elven Ranger/Green Draconic Sorcerer/Green Dragon Disciple as well.
Plus I am toying with the idea of an Umbral Dragon Bloodline as well, but noone seemed interested...

Ah. So you did take the fire-monk.
Yep. So far there are only 3 (but I'm thinking of pushing it to 4) Levels of Fire Element Sorcerer spread out and her spells are all combat related, so you can still play your Caster and not feel threatened... ;)
You still gonna go with the Blue Dragon Sorc? I'd like to see your build. As I said, I'm interested in Sorcs at the moment.

Right now my options are:
Blue Dragon Sorceror (Brass dragon makes as much sense, but meh.) (Earning your freedom or finding Haleen)Infernal Sorceror ('Build your own tiefling!') (Missionary Trait)
Conjurer (Genie-binder) (Reclaiming your roots)
Transmuter (Pathfinder) (Pathfinder Trait)
I also have an Elvish Diviner concept sitting around that works equally well as a Destined Sorceror, but I'm wary because I'm not the biggest fan of either the school or bloodline powers for them.
Alignment for any of them would be LN.

Nah, Blues are the bestest Dragons, everyone knows that!
Infernal Sorceror ('Build your own tiefling!')
Chelish or Katapeshi? I'm wondering how the Infernal fits into Katapesh?
Conjurer (Genie-binder)
Interesting. I like the idea of playing with Genies, but as a metagaming consideration don't we come up against Genies further into the story? Won't they be a little pissed at you for binding their bretheren?
Transmuter (Pathfinder)Sorry, but I don't see this matching the setting. How does he fit, sent by the Pathfinder Society (my PC has that Trait; Seeking Adventure)?

Maybe, but I like your others better.

Chelish. He'll claim to be a vigin birth from an Asmodean Priestess (who knows if its true or not). Give him the missionary trait, so he's there to found a temple. The reason he's out in the boonies is that he's also sort of exiled: Lawful churches don't like it when you refer to their patron as 'father'.

Probably. The idea is right out of the Player's Guide. Take the reclaiming your roots trait, use the bonus item for an Arcane Bond. (And be doubly hosed if I lose it: Not only no spells, but will save penalty.)
Sorry, but I don't see this matching the setting. How does he fit, sent by the Pathfinder Society (my PC has that Trait; Seeking Adventure)?
I guess we'd have to be friends, then. But yeah. Take the trait for it and be sent by the Society.
Character concept-wise, he'd be very much an engineer and an alchemist, everything about 'appropriate application of force'.Maybe, but I like your others better.
That's how I feel too.
I'm finding the Sorcerer concepts more evocative (yay bloodlines!), but I really like the idea of having a spellbook and lots of knowledge skills, which pulls back toward the wizard concepts.

Yeah I am a big fan of the Bloodlines for variety and flavour, but Wizards still fit some concepts better: Elizabeth Danflor.
I like your Blue Dragon Sorcerer. I'm assuming you'll be going Dragon Disciple?
or
I like your Genie Binder.
But ultimately it's your decision. Go with what you most wanna play and we'll have some fun! ;)

Probably pure caster, actually. Besides, I'm not sure how much actual reverence for his ancestor that character would have.

And that's what I have to figure out.

It really depends on whether you want the Abilities, or the Spells.
If it's Abilities the Dragon Disciple wins hands down. You get everything 1 level sooner plus extra uses in some cases.
If it's Spells then pure Sorcerer, as you loose 2 Spell Levels as a Dragon Disciple.
That's a big decision IMHO.
All of my DD concepts have had other Classes as part of their build, so for me it has always been about the Abilities.

Screw it i'll roll LE rogue, i've been toying with the character idea for too long now!
and i think i have an idea to get him friends with the good aligned
chars=)also whenever you can post the campaign traits would be great=)
I put them up in the Pathfinder Wiki so other folks can use them: LoF Traits
Yoda might move them in which case you can probably find them here:
Character Options
What you get there is what I think is legal for me to repost... I'm not entirely sure what I can post to be honest. You need to flesh those out a bit and I can help you with more details if you need it.

Ogre, how about faction feats from the Pathfinder Society guide? I'm specifically thinking of Dervish and Scimitar Master from the Qadira faction. (Don't really want to be a Qadiran Pathfinder, but I like the feats and the flavor.)
Found them... those are fine. Are you taking the Pathfinder Trait also?

Nope. As she's a cleric of Sarenrae, I took the Missionary trait. She's not a Pathfinder, but a dervish from a secluded monastery. The two feats in the PF guide seemed to really fit the background I had in mind though.
Anyways, here she is!

What would Aixa think of having another Missionary in the party? Especially an infernal one?

In character, she probably wouldn't be too keen on someone trying to set up a temple to Asmodeus where she's trying to rebuild a temple to Sarenrae. She's quite zealous (and has lived a sheltered, religious life) and would probably make it her mission to especially convert you.
Out of character, I already stole the cleric spot from you, so go ahead! It could make for some interesting roleplaying.

Do i have to take a campaign trait? none of them suit my background=(
The short answer is yes you do.
Ultimately the campaign traits serve as a way to help players get in both time and character motivation. There is a pretty decent amount of flex in the traits and I'll let you bend them even more. Ultimately, if you can't make one of those work I have to wonder if your character is going to work in the party.

Looks like everyone's character except Apathy... I haven't had much chance to look them over, but I don't foresee any issues. Word is the AP ships on Monday. I figure I'll put the first official post up and start the campaign thread then. I'm going to be out of town until then so I might be slow responding to questions until then.

Ok sorry for not having character up yet got her done and i'll post her tommorow morning.
don't worry it's not the evil character i'll save it for a neutral group.
the only thing i would like is to be able to take a leopard as a first level druid animal companion,i'd just reduce the stats significantly?
and call it a younger leopard.
looking forward to it!
sorry again for the delay=(

Use the
revised animal companion rules, they include a 'large cat' or a 'small cat' template. No worries on the wait... Looks like Monday is the soonest I'll have the PDF anyhow.
