Hmm, I don't remember seeing the reference. Usually they have a reference to where it came from next to the race. Thank you :)
You can also check the OGL at the end of the book... that mentions all OGl resources used... for PF19 it says:
Pathfinder 19: Howl of the Carrion King. Copyright 2009, Paizo Publishing, LLC; Author: Erik Mona.
Book of Fiends. Copyright 2003, Green Ronin Publishing; Authors Aaron Loeb, Erik Mona, Chris Pramas, and Robert
J. Schwalb.
Nyambe: African Adventures. Copyright 2002, Trident, Inc, d/b/a Atlas Games; Author: Christopher W. Dolunt.
Tome of Horrors. Copyright 2002, Necromancer Games, Inc.; Authors: Scott Greene, with Clark Peterson, Erica
Balsley, Kevin Baase, Casey Christofferson, Lance Hawvermale, Travis Hawvermale, Patrick Lawinger, and Bill Webb;

so if you didn't have your answer you could limit your search to those 4 products.

I still haven't gotten my hardcopy yet (Not a subscriber so I don't get a free pdf), but do we need a lot of outside material for LoF? I sure hope not...

From my experience with Crimson Throne, no :) If it is not found in the SRD / 3.* rules, the wonderful folks at Paizo print it in the book, and reference what source they got it from. If they've already printed it in a prior AP, they'll reference that (a certain critter from SD was to be found in Runelords, or ToH) so the only outside material you could need are prior APs, I would say.

BUT, if you want to get your hands on a PDF of Tome of Horror, Revised (the 3.5 version of this lovely book) you can get it for an awesome price HERE I highly recommend this place for all your non-Paizo pdf needs, for all those 3.5 books you may have missed out on :)
