Hey, just a couple questions/comments regarding Javeed's sheet.
1. Did you really want to make his favored class Fighter? Just curious, since you mentioned giving him levels in Ranger and Barbarian, but not fighter.
2. Can you please factor in his -3 Armor Check Penalty to the relevant skills?
3. I am assuming that the +8 damage done with his falchion is factoring in his Overhand Chop feat. Pretty much planning on using it all the time then?
Okay, that's it for now, please have a look at these comments. I'll take another look at Javeed after you buy him a ranged weapon.

Thanks! I'm working through my background now. I keep changing some bits because I'm not sure if it's too dark or not dark enough. I'm trying to make her past bad enough that she has doubts about ever becoming fully redeemed, but not to the point that it's uncomfortable for the other players(or me!).

Even so, I guess you could make the argument that I jumped the gun just a bit, but what can I say? I was antsy to get something going. And, from what I've seen so far, I got a heck of a group of players out of it. So, I'm a happy man.

I'm working on my Paladin. Rambler and I are going to take the Looking for Haleen background trait if that's cool with everyone. I probably won't have the finished character up until tomorrow.
Cool background trait choice! I think we've got nearly all of them covered now, depending on what Dryder does.

Haha, I'm running into the same problem with mine, trying to determine just how detailed I want to get into the poor girl's history. Suffice to say...she did not have a happy childhood.

Don't worry, I'm not complaining, and I totally agree...I think I managed to somehow slip in with some awesome roleplayers. However long we have to wait, it'll be worth it.
On another note, if anyone's interested and bored while we're waiting to start, you're welcome to take a peek at the game I'm running on RPOL. It's Hollow's Last Hope, and one of my players is using the wild druid concept from another game Valkyrie plays in.

The armoured kilt adds +1 AC and reduces the max dex by one (and makes it into heavy armour).
The madu also has a -2 armour check penalty, giving me -6 total. :-(
Hey, I don't suppose that you'd give me madu as my human weapon training weapon, since I already get all of the martial weapons as a paladin? If not, no big deal, but it let's me get closer to my desired build goal (which is more fun than it is powerful). Of course, the madu is pretty cool as is. A fighter build could have fun with it, but I'm more interested in trying out the PF paladin.

Ah, sorry Craig, my fault. I only got as far as scale mail and madu and missed the kilt. No problems on the AC, then. We'll figure out further details for the kilt as we go.
Madu as human trained weapon? Ok, sure, why not? Otherwise that racial feature is of no benefit to you anyway, as you pointed out. So, sure, go ahead and do that and take a different feat.

Sorry, my head is really foggy at the moment after today so I'm probably missing something. Do you mean the +1 I get from my STR or something else? (please bear with me, never played a cleric before. ;) )
Yeah, it's just that, Valkyrie. It would be useful to me if under your melee section, it said scimitar +1, and then the rest of the info about damage and stuff.

I just noticed, this is the first party I've ever been in with more female characters than male. Ha. :)
I know! Here I thought I'd be able to use feminine wiles on the rest of the group, and it turns out we've got a bunch of womenfolk!
(And actually the last local group I DM'd for had the same problem, but it was actually because all the players were girls - my wife got a bunch of friends to play and I couldn't find ANY guys to round out the group, so we ended up with 4 girls, one of their husbands, and me as DM. Talk about blowing away stereotypes!)

Scribbling, I went over Khalit's sheet, and wanted to mention just a couple things.
1. He can know one bonus language.
2. Scimitar damage should be 1d6+1
Other than that, he looks great!
Now, we just need backgrounds from you Shackletons! (I know, next week...)
And Craig, I'm not sure I ever came out and said for sure, but Martika's mechanics look good too. :)

Well, you shouldn't need any rolls for character creation, since we're doing a 20 point buy. If you just are asking for general reference for the future, I'm fine with the honor system.
In any case, Sunday/Monday will be great.

I've done a quick overview of Howl of the Carrion King (haven't had time yet to do a thorough read), but from what I have seen, we are in for a real treat. It looks awesome.
I am so excited to play this campaign, but you know what bugs me about this whole thing - for the first time, I can't open my Pathfinder when it hits my home. I have to wait until this game is over! Oh man... ;)

You forgot the extra +2 human racial bonus to any one attribute.

In another pbp here on these boards, SHISUMO came up with the following, to help the DM:
Maneuver Resistance
The resistance to Combat Maneuvers is usually 15 + your CMB (which is usually your BAB + Str modifier). However, some things provide for more resistance. If you have the Defensive Combat Training feat, for instance, that makes all maneuver attacks against you suffer a +4 to the DC. And if you have any of the Improved feats (grapple, trip, sunder, bull rush, etc) those add another +2 to the DC vs that specific type of maneuver.
In this case, we could add a line like this
Maneuver Resistance: 15
like in my case. Maybe it could help our DM... Any thoughts!?
