Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone has firm plans to DM a Legacy of Fire AP play by post on these boards?

I'm sure I won't be alone, but yes I do. I'm already three adventure paths behind with my face-to-face group - it's going to be years before I use it otherwise.
I want to read it first, who is this Mona guy anyway?
Cheers

Some new guy I heard...or maybe the work experience kid?

My first choice would be to play in it; but if I can't get into a game I might run it.
Interesting. I suppose many are like FW, and will wait to actually see the first installment before making a decision.
As for me, I asked just because I'm really inspired by the player's guide pdf (thanks for that Paizo!), and I know I want in on this AP in some way, shape or form.
I just need to decide whether I want to look for an opportunity as a player, or take up the reigns as DM. I was curious what others were thinking, and whether anybody else got their creative fires stoked by the player's guide.
Hmmm...
*ponders*
I plan on having a PC whipped up by the end of the weekend, and a background done by Wednesday! You may see a post from him in character looking to start a game.
I'd love to play in this one.
as i will be running it I would love to play it
Seeing as I'm going to be running a group through it myself anyway, though I've never done a PbP before, I could possibly try to DM it like that... or give it a go as a player, that suits my laziness well.
Gming a pbp is not hard, no where as hard as a table game, you have loads of time to plan and if player do something odd or unplanned you got a day or more to roll with it.
They are slow but very satisfying to GM

I'm gonna run it, but I'm going to be using the Legend of the Burning Sands to do it, which is gonna be a bit strange, I think.

Man, I'm seriously thinking I'm going to have to give a go at DMing this AP. I'm sure there won't be a shortage of players to go around. I suppose it's a bit too early to begin recruiting now though...

Other than the utter lack of gnolls, I think it will work fairly well.
But I guess we'll see... ;)

Sure. The first one or two adventures in LoF do appear to be pretty gnoll-centric, don't they?
Good thing I like gnolls.

I'm a few days late to the party, but I'd be interested in playing as well.
I would be interested as a possible player also if you're using Pathfinder rules.
Yeah, I've definitely decided I'm going to DM this Adventure Path. If interested, watch for an official recruiting thread to go up later this week.
