Does Paizo have any plans to do a subscription based online service similar to D&D Insider? Personally, I'd love to see this, particularly if it included an online tabletop. I think a message board devoted specifically to matching up PF players for online games would also be awesome. I have a hard time finding gaming groups in my area. :-/

Why would you want to pay for things that you can otherwise get for free?
Many people on the boards appear to already use a vast number of VTT software (Fantasy Grounds, Maptool, OpenRPG... those are just off the top of my head). There are a bunch of fan-made character sheets out there already, and things like pcgen and the like, too. It's been mentioned a bunch of times already that Paizo will be doing a d20srd-esque database for PFRPG, once the full version comes out. And the Pathfinder subs are as close as you'll get to Dungeon & Dragon, I suppose.
So, just taking a quick look at the D&D Insider website, the only things missing are the 'encounter builder' and the 'monster builder'... well, neither really work for 3.5e purposes. Perhaps something simple to calculate XP for an encounter... well I've got something for that job which I made up in about 5 minutes in Excel, I guess that covers that. :)
There's always the Gamer Connection for getting together for virtual tabletop games! A site like Pathfinder Portal could eventually help with things like this, too.

Nope; no plans at this time.

Welcome to Paizo's forums lhoward0043.
It is possible to find people interested in such things, although my guess would be that you'll never being seeing PF Insider.
Since I've been here they have added no new features to PBP gaming, which enjoys pretty large numbers, so I don't see why they would suddenly decide to put up something like realtime online tabletop gaming.
Anyway...
Still lots of other stuff to do here.

Welcome to the boards L!
I tend to agree with the replies thus far. With the variety of high quality VT options out there, it seems to make more sense to offer VT related options, as opposed to recreating the wheel as it were. Though, to be honest, Paizo offering PDFs with subscriptions has been all I've needed for my VT games.

Actually, I'd hate to see this. Nothing against online tabletops, but a lot against paying for it.
There's already decent software out there that doesn't require ridiculous fees the way wizard does - sometimes they have one-time fees, but that's it - and they're not charging before they give us what they promised, either...
I personally like MapTool, which I use in my regular PF game sessions (laptop, second screen, open it twice, put the instance that's logged in as player on the "public screen") - this is so much better than relying on people having to draw maps or memorising the layout.
fancy 3D representations of monsters aren't really necessary if you ask me (especially if you have to pay extra for those).
And FWes is right: This already is the insider treatment: You can catch people from Paizo posting here all the time, and they could hardly be friendlier. They always tease us with tidbits of information about upcoming products, and you can ask them pretty much everything about Pathfinder the game, Pathfinder the game world, and Pathfinder the products.
Add the blog and you get even more previews, including preview of the art we're going to see.

A board for players finding players (both online and offline) would indeed be nice. For tabletop games at least there are sites that let you look for players.

Pathfinder Portal looks like a nice site. Is that yours? I like that it links to the wiki!

Nonono, what I mean is completely different! With, uh,....yes! With trained genies that teleport people to your table, and also bring along the pizza. Or something like that. Definetly not like the existing solution I forgot all about!
Uhm... LOOK, BEHIND YOU! A DISTRACTION!

Not mine, no, but it's someone on the board's... I'm glad I managed to plug it a little, haha. :)
I think they're waiting for the fansite kits and such to do anything major, but I have a feeling the potential for it to pretty awesome is there.
