I've looked over the rules and maybe I've still missed it, but is there an official word on how we generate the ability scores for the villains?
"Show your math" seems to exclude any die-rolling system. So do we just use the Elite array? some sort of point buy?

Check out the "Creating Nonplayer Characters" chapter in the Pathfinder RPG beta. If I read it aright, you can use the old familiar ability arrays from 3.5.
