I love this contest and really tip my proverbial hat to Paizo for doing it.
One of the things I most liked last year, and am liking even MORE this year, is reading the judges' comments. For good or for ill, they are such an interesting window into the minds of these creative and talented people (and, no, I don't have an entry in the contest ... so this is honest praise, not sucking up :)
One judge I am particularly loving is Ed Greenwood. Not only are his comments extremely insightful and interesting to read, but the fact is ... the guy is pretty much a gaming legend! It's almost like have Gygax himself giving commentary on these entries. Like many of us, I've been playing D&D a long time (I started when I was about 12 years old playing first edition AD&D) and names like Greenwood and Gygax were like celebrities to me. To have one of them taking part in this contest is a real treat!
What an honor it must be for the people who have entered to have Ed giving commentary on their entries. What a HUGE honor it must be if he LIKES what you have done! I can almost hear Wayne and Garth saying "We're not worthy!!!"
And then, of course, to have "next generation" gaming celebrities like Wolfgang, Sean, Monte etc on top of this is just the cream in the coffee!

You bet! When he said that he recommends my entry (despite reservations), I felt superstardom for a second.
It's a huge recongition to hear that from the person that created your favorite setting of all time. I grew up with the FR, and I still can't believe I actually had the chance to be reviewed by him.
All of the judges are amazing and insightful, though! Even if they hate my entry. (Hey, mr. Peterson! *waves*)
