You don't need to include the Math and it has been said by the Judges that they probably won't even look at it.
Also, if you were to include the Math it would count towards your 200 word limit. So for example: if your Item was 186 words and your Math was 40 words then your entry would be disqualified.
...so introduce the math when your item is chosen as one of the Top 32 (or alternatively if you post the item in the eventual "this was my entry" thread)

I must have missed that. Even with the Math, I would have made the 200 Word limit, so it's all good. Thanks for the reply. I feel heaps better about it now!!

...if one were to, I don't know, accidently hit "submit" when they meant to hit "preview" and their math wasn't included in the initial entry, how would they get the math to you?
What you submitted is your entry. You may not add to it or clarify it.
But, as others have said, it's probably better for you that you didn't include calcs.
