If you are or know a college student in the Seattle area who is interested in the gaming or publishing industry, check out our Job Opportunities website.
Oh, to be back in college and in Seattle right now.
Poor guy/gal is just going to end up getting FWS's coffee and donuts all the time...
;)
I'd wipe the donut crumbs from his chin if it meant a chance to get a foot in the door of the gaming industry.

I'm wondering how they decided to trust FWS with an itern...
Maybe...
Well I am a crack shot with a Nerf gun.
HAHAHAHAHAHA ha. Stop scaring off the newbies.
I love it when you breath in my direction. The smell of stale donuts mixed with sulphuric acid is intoxicating ;p
Edit: I'm starting to creep myself out now. I guess it must be time to stop.
Oh - good god! If this were only 1994 again, I would be there in a heartbeat, Wesley. Crap.

Did I say newbs? I meant me. 0_0

I'm going to assume it's already listed on Craigslist and the like?
Ross Byers wrote: I'm going to assume it's already listed on Craigslist and the like? It costs a bit to post an opening on there, so we're seeing what kind of response we get from the community before taking that next step. I'm hoping we'll have a better chance of getting actual gamers by posting on the gaming sites anyway. Heck, I found my job off ENWorld (which will hopefully note my "scoop" about the opening sometime soon here).

Don't forget about the half bottle of whiskey mixed in there.
While I would normally jump at the chance to move to Seattle, enroll in one of the fine institutions of higher learning in Seattle, and apply for the internship, i'm afraid I would be stuck editing the "carbuncle" entry for the Pathfinder monster book over and over again...

There's other stuff to do here too... I guess.

Have you put up a link at the KQ forums? If you haven't, I will.
F. Wesley Schneider wrote: There's other stuff to do here too... I guess. uh-huh... ;)

It should be noted that the internship, while officially making you the lowest man on the totem pole and carrying absolutely no promise of advancement beyond the role of Spear-Carrier, can be good experience for the ol' resume.
James Sutter
Former editorial intern (now actually getting paid to work here!)
...I mean, there will be candy and cake every day! And you can use the company car! And have your own parking spot that won't be full of excess warehouse stock!

We're fine, we're all fine, here, now, thank you. How are you?
You know...if you could convince Gary to get around to hiring me, I'm sure you could find a way to sneak some editorial duties into the job description.

Intern: Huh? Oh, the uniform. [removes his helmet] I'm the intern. I'm here to rescue you!
Wesley: You're who?
Intern: I'm here to rescue you! Look, I can edit text all day, and I'm here with Ben Kenobi!

Wesley: Ben Kenobi!! He is three weeks late on his Pathfinder turnover. Where is he?
Dammit!! Still no curator/archaeologist job opening, I see. I don't know what to think about you people some times...
Or for us telecom people. ~sad sighs~ Oh well, back to the grind!
I just want to know when Paizo is ever going to have a position for a Mechanical Engineer with a background in compressed air systems, steam systems, and DoD acronyms.
If Paizo needs an US disabled veteran with background in computer infrastructure/networking... ya know, let me know.

How many people can fit in a matchbox Z80, anyhow?
Jonathan_Shade wrote: If Paizo needs an US disabled veteran with background in computer infrastructure/networking... ya know, let me know. Or a vet with experience in security and a degree in the history of the Middle Ages.
Well I'll probably be moving to the Seattle area in about 4 years, so if you can keep this open and ignore all the college-related requirements (just change it to editorial indentured servant =p) I'll be good to apply! =p
