So, I'm sitting here in the hospital, checking the site while my wife recovers from surgery.
Sitting right next to me is my mother-in-law, holding my brand-new baby girl.
Today is the best day of my life.
Congrats! Although Clinton was in his first term the last time I experienced that, I still remember it well. Welcome to the rest of your life. :)
Congratulations, Ungoded!

The birth of my 1st son is still burned into my mind...a moment to cherish for the rest of your life. Enjoy it.

Seriously, congrats to all three of you, and there is nothing like being where you are right now, or will be until you are there again. :)
Enjoy to the fullest.

Now, do you mean that I will get more sleep in 8-12 weeks, or is that how long it takes for me to be happy with what I'm getting?
All the best for your family

Enjoy the time now, and be prepared for the time when she starts crawling, than the hardest part begins... ;)

And all the best wishes for your wife. My wife had a two hours surgery while giving birth to our son, and it was a close call! We wish your wife all the best!
Best wishes to you all, and hope your wife recovers speedily from the surgery.
