I have a suggestion for the Human Weapon Training racial feature. There are currently several classes that make this feature useless (i.e. Barbarian, Fighter, Paladin, and Ranger). I would suggest if you choose one these classes as a Human the Weapon Training racial feature would act like the Weapon Focus feat instead of giving proficiency for a selected Martial Weapon.

I would personally stick with the Weapon Focus route - exotic weapons have too many special abilities or advantages - I think it's more balanced, if you're going to add anything, to add Weapon Focus for a simple or martial weapon. We did that with humans in our own pathfinder playtest in West Michigan, and I think it worked well.

It's a freebie, people. Let's not try to wring out said freebie and beat it up until it provides equally for all people. Elves have training in swords and bows, so why should a fighter who has also learnt all the other weapons be especially good with them? One implies universal education (3rd Ed), whilst the other suggests a natural talent (2nd Ed). Let's be clear on which it is.
