I've picked out 5 songs that I think really fits each faction very well. I'm curious to hear others'
Andoran - What Shall We Die For - Hans Zimmer (off Pirates 3 soundtrack)
Cheliax - Marche Slav - Tchaikovsky
Osirion - Stargate Theme - David Arnold
Qadira - Paint it Black - Rolling Stones, as performed by London Symphony Orchestra
Taldor - Miraz Crowned - Harry Gregson-Williams (off Prince Caspian soundtrack)

Oh that horrible horrible music. It makes my ears little ears bleed! You think that represents my glorious adopted homeland!(OOC)
Ok, well, I'm not as opposed to your suggestion as Cal is but personally I'd be looking more to the Aladdin soundtrack for Qadiran tunes. Maybe Desert Rose by Sting.

Dead Can Dance also has some stellar middle-eastern influenced instrumentals and ambient stuff. I'd go with them before the sing-songy Aladdin soundtrack, as great as it is.

i would have to say:
Andoran: Johann de Meij- Gandalf (the Wizard) (sure, might seem a little cheesy, but a very majestic selection from a classical composition that predates the movies by over a decade)
Cheliax: Swans- Power and Sacrifice (more specifically, the instrumental "remix" Pow R Sac)
Osirion: Conjure One- Pandora (not exactly Egyptian-themed, but appropriately arcane and mysterious)
Qadira: Bear McCreary- The Thousandth Landing (from Battlestar Galactica Season 1 soundtrack)
Taldor: Holst- Mars, the Bringer of War (huge and majestic, yet desperate)

I'm a big fan of Hans Zimmer, but I would go with teh sountrack to The Rock instead. Tasty bizness that soundtrack.
For Cheliax I'd go with that track from the Matrix soundtrack that starts with piano-type music but then breaks into really sinister sounding technonica of some kind and brings the piano back in later.
Osirion - Dunno...need to think on that.
Qadira - Ever seen the movie "Warriors of Heaven and Earth"...some of the soundtrack for that is perfect.
Taldor - TOO HARD! Needs to be perfect.

These are my picks- as fair as I know they're all available for a listen on iTunes- let me know what you think...
Andoran - Prologue/ JFK- John Williams
Cheliax - Main Titles/ Dragonslayer - Alex North
Osirion - The Mummy Returns/ The Mummy Returns- Alex Silvestri
Qadira - Arabian Waltz/New Impossibilities- Chicago Symphony
Taldor - Overture/ The 3 Worlds of Gulliver- Bernard Herrmann (the whole soundtrack is just perfect).

I was actually considering that too! Crimson Tide also because of Andoran's naval ties. There's certainly room for more than one song for each faction =p
Here's 5 more
Andoran - When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again, Hurrah
Cheliax - Sympathy for the Devil (Rolling Stones/Guns 'n Roses)
Osirion - Egypt - Symphony X
Qadira - Theme from Lawrence of Arabia
Taldor - Viva la Vida - Coldplay

Rob Dougan's Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Variation)? For Cheliax? Not what I had in mind at all.

Andoran: Glory by KMFDM
EXPLOITATION
THE COMMON BASIS OF A WESTERN NATION
OFFICIAL VERSION, A FALSIFIED STORY
THE TRUTH LIES BURIED IN A SHROUD OF GLORY
INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE AREN'T SERVING TIME
FOR BEING INVOLVED IN ORGANIZED CRIME
BUT STASHED AWAY IN BEAUTIFUL MANSIONS
GUESS WHO PROVIDES FOR THEIR GENEROUS PENSIONS
OPPRESSION, IGNORANCE, CENSORSHIP RULE
EDUCATION IS MORE THAN WHAT'S TAUGHT IN SCHOOL
FORCED IN A MOLD, HELD DOWN BY THREATS
DECISIONS ARE MADE OVER OUR HEADS
BUT THERE IS A WAY TO REFUSE AND RESIST
WE DON'T NEED TO BE RULED WITH THE IRON FIST
WE ARE THE PEOPLE, WE ARE STRONG
LET'S MAKE UP OUR MINDS AND PROVE'EM WRONG

No no. Taldor's music is this.
Rule Britannia from the Last Night of the Proms
And these are the lyrics! Kinda.
-----------------
When Taldor first at Arod'n's command
Arose from out the azure main;
Arose, arose, arose from out the azure main;
This was the charter, the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain:
Rule, Taldora! Taldora, rule the waves!
Taldans never, never, never shall be slaves!
Rule, Taldora! Taldora, rule the waves!
Taldans never, never, never shall be slaves!

I find myself drawn to Exo-Politics by Muse, personally. But our Gnomish Music may be too advanced for you Bigfaces from less civilized nations than Taldor to appreciate.
Hey! Why are you working for those ugly Taldan doublings? They'll just stab you in the back when they get the chance! Come to Qadira, we have alot more fun and we have concubines!

Your concubines are nothing more than a pale shadow compaired to the pleasures of the Osirion harems. Our women now the secrets of pleasure that were ancient when your ancesters were still [deleted for decency's sake]

Andoran: Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name
I was going to suggest something by Rage for you bluebirds, but you beat me to it.
Been trying to find a good Rammstein song for my fellow members of the Chelaxian elite, but they all seem to lose something in the translation, or else be a bit too obscene after the translation to mention here...

Taldor's theme. Link to Tannhauser trumpets Maybe without the lyrics, but they could be changed.

And hashish! Don't forget the hashish! It's a party ALL the time!
Quadira: Those "Prince of Persia" soundtracks would be good too. Marche slav (which was recommended for Cheliax, I think could work for Quadira too.

Andoran: Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name
"Killing in the name of..." has little to do directly with freedom. It's about police racism and white supremacy. It's really not a very appropriate song at all. Other than the final "verse" ("F*** you, I won't do what you tell me" repeated sixteen times), there's nothing in the song to link to the Andoran faction.

Osirion - I like the Stargate theme, David Arnold.
Qadira - 13th Warrior "Old Bagdad" by Jerry Goldsmith.
Cheliax - Dies Irae, from Verdi's Requiem
Andoran - Beethoven Symphony No. 9, 4th Movement "Ode to Joy"
Taldor - Holst Jupiter
