I was posting a reply about 20 minutes ago, and it told me there was an error that was sent to you gary when I tried to post it. ever since then I lost a bunch of posts most of which are from the west coast strangly enough) I can't see any of Vic's 15 posts in the past hour... just an FYI

I expect it's similar to when we canadians make statements about Regina, Saskatoon or Thunder Bay...or Quebec in general depending where you're from. Personally I like to rip on Calgary, since I'm there now and have seen enough of it to be able to criticize honestly.

When it comes to Canada, I prefer to mock Newfoundland because it's in a time zone that's half an hour off most of the rest of the world. Pick a side, guys!

Heh. and only Newfoundland could get away with that too. there is no way a random state, let's pick New Hampshire, or some other provence like manitoba could decide that it's going to be 1/2 hour ahead of the rest of the time zone. Solid reason for mocking. I approve.
