Seeing as the first one is right on the horizon now, I thought I'd ask if anyone was looking to start this as a PBP right away? It sounds like it will be ALOT of fun and I don't want to miss my chance to play. So if your thinking of running it and want to start getting characters fleshed out for it, put me on your list please :)

I should have the Players guide soon (1-2 weeks is my guess) as I just got the email saying that they were preparing the shipment. I'll throw Patfinder #13 up on my shelf unopened (lol, my whole CotCT had the same thing happen to it). I'll get to read and run them down the road somewhere I am sure but for now am having a great time in PBPs. So sign me up if your accepting applications! :)

Ross, I'd like to get in on your Second Darkness game if you have a spot. I've got three other characters running but would like to try this one. Feel free to check my Avatars and their posts out if you'd like to see if my play style will suit the game.
I'll have to order the players guide though. I don't have any type of subscription.
Cheers

I'll be putting up the invite thread something this week or next (I have a busy week ahead of me, so I might not have time this week.) When I do, I'll leave it open for a few days. If I end up with too many people, the party will be chosen by die roll and the remainder will become a list of alternates.
If you want a vague idea of what the house rule list will look like, take a peek at my CotCT invite thread.

Downloaded the players guide and am working on an Elven Wizard to post when you start the invite thread. Can you tell I can't wait to play? BTW, I am a roleplaying and posting fiend (tend to post a couple of times a day) :)

If you're working on a character already, I should say to use the Pathfinder Alpha/Beta rules.

Yeah, working from the Alpha rules as I don't have the Beta yet. Are you running this as a strictly Beta game (to play test those rules) or going to incorporate some of your house rules? Either way, I am good with it. Just wondering as wizards schools change and all that.
Arioch where did you get the down load as I don't see the companion available as a pdf on site?
Well, as soon as they put the hard copies of my subscription in the mail then the PDF's become available for me to download in the My Account---->Downloads area. So, I don't even have the hardcopy yet (supposed to get here tomorrow), just working from the PDF. Not sure if it's available seperately from a subscription though.

Alright. My invite thread is here.
It currently appears to be in missing post limbo (i.e. it is visible in my recent posts but not in the messageboards), so it might take a bit to 'phase in'. But it's there.
