Hi Folks,
This post is one part question, one part suggestion. I run pbem games via yahoo and we use d20srd.org to a significant degree. I assume that others find this resource useful as well, but perhaps I'm in the minority here and in that case, please disregard the rest of the post ;-) We've recently adopted the beta since I've been so impressed with the work that's been done so far. As have my players as well.
With the use of Pathfinder, we'll need to look things up twice, which gets to be a headache (and is one of the reasons I have a hard time with the vast number of sourcebooks out there). I can barely remember what feat comes from where and what spell is detailed where or updated somewhere else, etc. Alongside the various PRPG changes, there is still quite a bit that is unchanged and valid in the SRD, so the need for doubly cross-referencing has now become non-trivial.
My question is, is a merged SRD/PRPG online rule set something the PRPG community would be interested in pursuing? Do the good folks at Paizo have an opinion on this subject? Would Paizo be willing to host a wikipedia-style area where the content could be fleshed out and merged with the SRD? Are there any legalities involved in this kind of project?
I would love to see something like this evolve as PRPG takes shape. Anyone else in the same boat as I am? Sorry I have so many questions, but so few answers. Thanks for your time.

I am in exactly the same boat for exactly the same reason (I also play/run PbEMs via Yahoo). I even put the open content from the Alpha 3 rules on-line for my own benefit: http://alpha3.wikidot.com/home
On another thread, Vic mentioned that Paizo would probably not do anything until the final version of the rules comes out next year. That implies that they have considered doing something like d20srd.org at some future date (or at least they haven't ruled anything out).
Until then, "Dennis da Ogre" has talked about making an on-line version of the Beta rules; if he doesn't do anything, then I'll probably do what I did with the Alpha 3 rules (i.e. put up an extremely bare-bones wiki version for my own use).
There are legal issues, of course, and I'm not a lawyer. I think the main points are:
- Don't distribute anything using Product Identity (as defined in the declaration at the beginning of the rules).
- Make sure the Open Gaming License statement is part of whatever you distribute.
- Update the Copyright Statement portion as required in the license.
Read the license for further details.

I might note here that Jason Buhlman has asked the community to keep from putting up the Alpha/Beta rules in public form. Paizo wants people interested in the rules to come here and download them, and hopefully participate in the Open Alpha/Beta, rather than just skimming and passing judgment on an incomplete version.

I forgot to address the main point of your post: Will there be a web site that includes all of the necessary material from the 3.5 SRD?
Well, the final version of the rules (due out next year) will include all of the necessary rules from the 3.5 SRD for playing, but until then the Beta version will be missing some portion of those rules. So I doubt there will be a merged SRD/PRPG web site any earlier than next year (since merging them together sounds like a lot of work for something that'll be obsolete in a year anyways).

That's a lot more information than I had before, so thanks for the quick replies. I'll be looking forward to when this kicks off, even if it's a year out.
