I hope it's like the new Star Wars saga edition screen.
Not only does it have a lot of good information on it, but it's on an awesome stock of paper.
Unfortunately, I've only seen these shrink-wrapped. I'd love to see one on display so that I may lend my vote.
But in the abstract - good stock. Easy reference. Yes.

laminate it too while you are at it. Ill buy 2 minimum. :)
The GM screen for Agone Roleplaying Game was laminated, as well as be nicely organized. I'd love to see Paizo do that, though if they could manage it, put something more in the packaging other than a map (which was all that came with The Agone gm's screen).

Personally, I love the screens that White Wolf put out for the New World of Darkness - once the final version of the Pathfinder RPG is out, I'd love to see a GM screen like that.
Yes! This is (at least) the third thread I've seen about Pathfinder GM screens (the first I know about was my own). We can't repeat this enough, until they finally announce the screen. :D
I'm sure they'll put the right information on it, too.

DM Screen topic in PfRPG GM Tools forum.
And for those too lazy to go there: Lisa Stevens said that there will be one (but that it will have to wait until after the final Pathfinder RPG release in 2009).

I'm just saying it's rather impressive for a WOTC DM screen and it's not overly expensive. Four panels, very heavy (almost cardboard) stock, and a really nice finish. It's a shame the artwork on the front is a let down. :)

I've been considering a "do it yourself" DM screen, and one of the ideas I had was using laminate or a white board to make a "notes" section. And possibly an "initiative" section on the front.
Just my 2cp.
I use a gamemastery Combat Pad, but the idea to incorporate one into a GM screen sounds great!

Except that writing on something standing up like a DM screen doesn't sound very easy.. oh course there's the argument of doing it ahead of time, but I'd prefer something printed.
On the flip side, if they were to Combat Pad stylize it, I can't imagine something magnetic being sold inexpensively at the size and quality that the DM screen would need to be.

I already went out to Wal-Marx and bought some black foamcore. cut three sections to fit together as a board
Printed out some useful charts and taped them to the inside, and made it so I can remove when PF finally goes Gold.
I'd love to see a non flimsy DM screen ( a la my 1st edition D&D screen)
Chocked full of useful tables and info, plus an additional insert book of random maps would be great. (also wandering monsters per area would also rock!.)
Sho: Out.
