A few questios on PFRPG:
1. Do you think it will be compatible with ArcanaEvolved? I mean can it exist side by side with 3.5 like AE has?
2. Will PRPG require the use of 3.5 core books or will it be a self-contained book? In other words will I still be needing my 3.5 books?
3. Does being compatible mean I will be able to use the magic items from the Magic Item Compendium and the like?
4.Are most of you going to stay mostly 3.5 and borrow from PRPG or stay mostly PRPG and fill in the gaps with 3.5?
5. Will I have to re-learn all the spells again? AAARgh! The subtle differences between 3.0 and 3.5 were very frustrating.
I'm just trying to find a way to incorporate PRPG, 3.5, and AE? Wondering if it's going to be possible?
thanks...

1. The differences to 3.5 will be comparable to the ones between 3.0 and 3.5, so old material should still be usable. It should also work with AE.
2. The beta version will replace the 3.5 PHB and DMG, although some parts of the DMG like the prestige classes won't be ready by then. They will be in the final release, though.
3. Yes, about the same as you could use 3.0 items in 3.5.
4. I will probably use PFRPG and fill the gaps with 3.5.
5. Yes, I'm afraid so. They made changes to a lot of problematic spells.

Paizo ought to have an FAQ with these and other common questions. If they don't already, one may be in the works.
. . . . I think you'll be mostly happy with all the answers. That is, most of AE will be easy, spells & magic items save for the tough ones. . . The 3.5 PHB isn't necessary but it'll be nice to have it around for the one or two holes that occassionally pop up w/ PRPG.
In fact, it's better to call it "Paizo-Revised 3E" than PRPG; Paizo can't because of copyright stuff, obviously . . . .
*It seems that 1/2 the gamers are finishing their current 3.5 (but talking about the revised rules and then will switch to Paizo-3E) and the other 1/2 are incorporating some or all of the revised 3E into their current game already.
Hope this helps.

1. AFAIK, it'll be as compatible with AE as AE was with core D&D. Generally compatible, but with differences here and there, especially in terms of magic.
2. No need for 3.5 core books with the final. That's kind of the whole point, since 4e meant no more 3.5 books would be printed. (The Beta won't have all the spells and magic items quite yet, but the final in August 2009 should have everything.)
3. There may be occasional things from MIC that rely on spells that have been slightly changed in Pathfinder, but it should generally be compatible.
4. I'm not 100% sure which side of the 3.5/Pathfinder fence I'll be on come 2009. As of yet, it looks more like mostly 3.5 with good chunks of Pathfinder (60/40), but given that my initial impression of Alpha 1 was 3.5 with Pathfinder skills and classes (maybe an 85/15 split), by August of next year I may be all 100% Pathfinder (except for DR, but that's another story.)
5. Depends on what you mean by spells. If you mean polymorph, then yes, it's all changed, to a much simpler and easier to understand core rule for all the polymorph-type spells. They just give you set bonuses to stats and access to certain types of special abilities that the creature has. Much easier to adjudicate in-game. Most other "problem" spells have received adjustments as well, but would you rather have to learn a few more changes, or deal with the mess that some of the core 3.5 spells can produce?
AE, 3.5, and Pathfinder can co-exist fairly comfortably, at least from what I can see of the Alpha of Pathfinder, about as comfortably as AE and 3.5 co-exist. It won't be perfect, but then again AE and 3.5 have disagreements

But until we DO get a FAQ up... here's official answers for the initial questions:
1. Do you think it will be compatible with ArcanaEvolved? I mean can it exist side by side with 3.5 like AE has?
It will, although there'll be a little bit more conversion work to do in some cases since Arcana Evolved is 2 steps away from the PF RPG, whereas the 3.5 SRD is only 1 step away.
2. Will PRPG require the use of 3.5 core books or will it be a self-contained book? In other words will I still be needing my 3.5 books?
It'll be self-contained. The main point of releasing the PFRPG is to replace the current 3.5 core books, which will no longer be in print and over time will become increasingly hard to obtain.
3. Does being compatible mean I will be able to use the magic items from the Magic Item Compendium and the like?
Yes.
4.Are most of you going to stay mostly 3.5 and borrow from PRPG or stay mostly PRPG and fill in the gaps with 3.5?
Paizo will continue using the 3.5 SRD until August 2009, at which point we'll be switching over 100% to the Pathfinder RPG.
5. Will I have to re-learn all the spells again? AAARgh! The subtle differences between 3.0 and 3.5 were very frustrating.
There will be some differences between spells in the 3.5 SRD and the Pathfinder RPG. The Beta, which will be available in August 2008, will have a large number of spells for you to check out.

I HEARTILY agree! An FAQ is a GREAT idea! It should be right there on the main page of the web site!
I have a question (or questions) that I think need to be on this:
"Please explain the difference between Pathfinder, Pathfinder RPG, Pathfinder Chronicles etc."
I actually started a thread about this here
... but I think the various Pathfinder product lines need to be CLEARLY explained in this FAQ.
Thanks!
