Lisa Stevens wrote this in another thread:
Just to tease you guys a little more, we have a new employee coming onboard in a few weeks. A press release should be out in a week or so, but I am going to give you a hint. This employee worked with me at WotC. It kind of feels like I'm putting the band back together...the band.

Hmmm. What can we piece together from what we know from Lisa's Profile?
Someone from her TSR days? Hmmm. She said WotC, but maybe she's lumping that all together into one experience.
Her last job seemed to be with Star Wars d20, but she was also doing Greyhawk and RPGA.
I wonder if the new person left WotC a while ago, or perhaps is still there for a few more days or weeks....
Come on! Join in the speculative fun!

My first thought was that Monte Cooke was joining in a more permanent role than rules consultant for Pathfinder.
But that might just be because I was flipping through the book of eldritch might
Well, Sean K Reynolds should be avaiable...

Oooh! Paizo definately needs a San Diego Padres fan on staff!
I love Sean's articles on the D&D pantheon, and it was always fun to see pics of his minis. Plus, he's another Greyhawk dude.
I clicked over to JD Wiker's Live Journal Blog from Sean's website. JD did work on Star Wars... but he still has the Game Mechanics to run, though they haven't been very active lately.
I love the Game Mechanics stuff, and it'd be cool to have any of them of the staff.

well sean's livejournal june 10th entry does have
me and 4e D&D
Yes, I've been strangely silent now that the books are out.
To be completely honest, I'm a bit busy. My sister is getting married next week, to one of my best friends. I'm finishing a book for Paizo. I'm getting ready to move out of state. And start a new job there.I am going to look at the 4e core books. I'm going to give them a good read before I post any sort of analysis. I will, just not until mid-July at the earliest. :)

It just seemed like the thing to do.
In all seriousness, I guess I'm not really up to snuff on who Lisa used to work with over at WotC. Reynolds would be a kick-ass hire, in my opinion, but I'm sure there are plenty of top people from Wizrads that Paizo would love to get a hold of.
Either way, I look forward to the revelation.

Why yes, of course I can speak. In fact, I have been told on previous occasions that I am both well spoken, and possessed of a modicum of talent with regards to literary endeavors.

It's a bit like discovering that Frankenstein's Monster can talk. ;-)

Of course, that could just be you regurgitating some praise that you read somewhere...

Sean K Reynolds is a good guess. After all, the Gods and Magic book is supposed to be coming out, and who better to write it? :P
Used to work with at WotC eh? Maybe Dancey? :P
Dancey is gainfully employed in the land of the ice and snow, so I deem this unlikely. Though he says he'll be in the land of peaches come summer.

It's a bit like discovering that Frankenstein's Monster can talk. ;-)
"Remember that I am thy creature; I ought to be thy Adam; but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed. Everywhere I see bliss, from which I alone am irrevocably excluded. I was benevolent and good -- misery made me a fiend. Make me happy, and I shall again be virtuous." -the Monster.

NICE quote, Gav!

Well it may be wishful hoping on my part but, though Reynolds would be great, my first choice is definitely Chris Youngs.
He was Paizo's first EiC of Dungeon and I'd love to see him come back to The Good Side of the Force.
And let's see, after Youngs my choices are Perkins (that'll never happen), Cordell (distant "maybe") and then Mearls or Reynolds. Of course, niether Cordell nor Mearls worked for Paizo, so...

So if we're nice to him, do you'll think he'll be nice to us...and let himself die?

That'll be peachy.
