Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Less than five days remain before the deadline. (In case other fans don't know, for the products coming out at GenCon, they have to be done by this Friday!) How are you Paizonians doing? Is there anything we can do to help? Pizza? Massages? Strippers?

Liberty's Edge

Pizza, maybe. But I'm pretty sure that massages and strippers will only delay work further. Especially if the two are combined.

Oh Yes! Definitely the case.

Well... that's what I've *heard*, anyway.

Plotting commences in the unofficial Paizo chatroom.

Sounds like it's cookie time. :)

Paizo Employee Director of Brand Strategy

Don't go anywhere for lunch, Paizo! It's comin' to you!

Take it as a gift from your fans, a thanks for all your hard work, and encouragement to withstand the pressures you're inevitably under as the GenCon deadline approaches.

Save a bit for Capt. Logue, as he isn't there yet (I believe). I don't think he'll mind eating it cold or reheated. He seems like that kind of guy.

Again, thanks and keep up the good work!

Yay Pizza! Has it gotten there yet?

These are some of your loyal fans who deserve numerous brownie points for contributing :)

Oh my god, you guys are amazing. I don't know of any other company that gets this level of support from their friends and customers. Seriously... I feel like we should be rescuing babies from burning buildings or something, rather than designing fantasy games. :) Thank you so much!

It should be there around 11:45. If it's not, someone call the Pizza Hut in Bellevue.

Consider the list above simply those fans who happened to be on the chat this afternoon, and who were able to help out. We did it on behalf of the entire Paizo community.

Now get back to work on that Campaign Setting!!!

Does it help if someone wiggles them for you, or only if you do it yourself?

Least we can do given the level of commitment you all show to the fans.

An intriguing question. I shall have to research this. :)

So glad you guys are enjoying the hot 'za!

Good luck hitting all your milestones this week!

Paizo Employee Director of Brand Strategy

I predict a massive increase in "heavy deadline" days in the near future, if only as a way of getting free pizza. I would love that, actually, as the more deadlines there are, the more products come out.

Of course. Silly me. :)

How do I contribute to this? Can I paypal in my share somehow?

Thanks for all your hard work and long hours, and thanks for loving our games the way we do.

If you want to contribute retroactively, you can paypal whatever you'd like to my screenname @ gmail.com. We broke pretty even though. Within $ 10 or 15, so only do so if you feel the need. There will be other opportunities.

I've just declared that Paizo gets Chinese food when we get Minkai!

yoda8myhead and all the other fans who supplied the Paizo staff with Pizza, I wanted to say thanks! I too am a fan. Now I wish I had been on the chat instead of taking a much needed nap. ~sighs~ Sleep or chat? Darn. I picked the wrong one!

You folks rock my socks!

Paizonians, don't click! Fans, read below:

Spoiler:
What would people think of setting up a paypal account for this type of use? Something we could all pitch into occasionally and use it to offer nice gifts to our favorite company's employees every once in a while? Then people who want to be involved wouldn't feel left out if they aren't involved in the last-minute scramble to get something together on the day-of. We'd need someone to be the manager of the funds for the sake of security, and so that we weren't just putting money into a fund that just anyone or no one could take it out of. Perhaps we can tie it somehow to the funding of Paizocon, which is, as far as I know, a fan-funded event. I might also be way off base here, so I open the discussion to the community.

yoda8myhead, I say "YES!!!". I am up for it. ~wicked smile~ Boiling Mike McArtor in oil would be a way to remove the drugery of a work week. Lets do it! ~grins~

Spoiler:
I am just joking about boiling Mike in oil. I would be up for such a proposition as you are suggesting, yoda8myhead.

*runs into the room wrapped in a towel*

OK... get working, or I start doing the massages and dancing.

Now, if that isn't incentive to get stuff done, I don't know what is. :oP

You can paypal it to the address above. Or just give it to me in credit for my next subscription.

I've got a bunch of Chuck-E-Cheese tokens, does PayPal take those?

Just an update!!!!

D-Day has come and gone! Hectic, stressful, frustrating, crazy, exhausting, yes, all those things. Several of us were here late, late, late into the night several days this week and here again very, very early in the morning (Jason and I were SO close to tagging off Thursday morning, he left JUST before I got there).

But it's done.

As of yesterday, the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beta, the hardcover Pathfinder Campaign Setting, Pathfinder #13: "Shadow in the Sky" (the launch of the Second Darkness Adventure Path), the first Pathfinder Companion (PFC: Second Darkness), Planet Stories’s Worlds of Their Own compilation, the Curse of the Crimson Throne Map Folio, Map Pack Caravan... and something else I think I'm forgetting, all left the building for the printers. And OMG, they look hot.

In fact—a Paizo first—there was cake and champagne.

So yeah! We made it through, and Thank You All So Much! For all the help, the support, the suggestions, the sympathy, and the Pizza! Really, you're all awesome and, come August, I hope you'll all be super impressed with what we put together for ya! Thanks again all!

Congrats, all!

Impressive! Take a bow and a breather both!

Now, what's up for the encore?

*runs away to avoid deserved beating*

I have only in the last week discovered Pathfinder. After me and my entire group were so disappointed over 4e I started looking for an alternative. Thankfully we have found one, and from here on out our group is with Paizo and the Pathfinder line. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the dreams of gamers everywhere.

Wow!!! Intense! Grats to all you Paizonians and your hard work.

Though, I thought it was supposed to be dream pizza and not real pizza...

Hey Sharoth! You totally pulled that idea right out of my head. I'm so in!

So Grim, when will we boil Mike McArtor in oil? That is what you are talking about, right?
