I looove the Pathfinder goblins with a passion that is entirely unbecoming of a supposedly mature man, and Wayne Reynolds did a wonderful job of giving them a distinct look from the standard D&D variety. But I've been disappointed that Gogmurt never got an illustration in Burnt Offerings, and was a little dissatisfied with some of the other goblin portraits (no offense to the artist, if you're here). So I'm working on my own illo of Gogmurt, in all his goblin-pyromania-meets-power-of-nature glory. This isn't complete yet, but lemme know watcha think.

Oh, and let me know if there's a more appropriate place to put this. >_>

Sczarni

How to work all the pretty message board stuff, courtesy of the faq. Its all pretty helpful and easy to implement stuff.

Love the picture by the way, though our gnome druid would hate it. Those two decided they were each others nemesis.

Very very nice! Go Gogmurt! Burn 'em! Burn 'em good!

Sovereign Court

Please put that on a tee-shirt and ship to me. Thanks.

Haha, pretty sure that's illegal, but I appreciate the idea. ;) Glad ya'll like it, I'll try to finish him this weekend.

Friggin awesome picture man.

Gute Arbeit!

Love the little fella. A goblin torch is a great idea. Now make him eat horses for breakfast and the goblin pantheon has a new god :)

Heh. Gogmurt was the only goblin to survive my party's raids on Thistletop. He took his animal companion and ran away after two unsuccessful attempts to eliminate the PCs. He is about to become a recurring villian---

Spoiler:
The PCs have discussed occupying Thistletop, and I plan on having Gogmurt leading a few goblin raiding parties attempting to take the Fort back from the PCs.

It would be great if you could add in his animal companion....

And here he is, mostly finished.

I'm planning on doing Tangletooth too, but here's what I have for now.

That is frickin' awesome! I will most assuredly be using this when we play RotRLs. Thanks!

This is awesome. Would you mind if we use it as character art on the Pathfinder Wiki? If so, how would you like credit?

Aye, feel free to, I'd be honored. :) Second, credit it to Daniel Lewis, if you please. *bows*

Awesome! And it's only illegal to do t-shirts if you charge. You could give us all free t-shirts! :)

Awesome picture of Gogmurt. I noticed Burnt Offerings didn't have a picture of him which is a shame since he is one of my favorite NPCs. Thanks!

I would think a t-shirt would be perfectly doable if you removed the Gogmurt name from it.

This is true. Also, haven't had time to do Tangeltooth, a pox upon summer classes. X_X

Wow. This is some really good stuff! Do you have any interest in doing a graphic novel?

Very good picture. I just wish I'd had this earlier to show my players. They captured Gogmurt and the PC barbarian/druid eventually let him go with the intention of tracking him down and just tormenting him.

Anyway... I ran a solo adventure with Thorgar (Barbarian 2/Druid 3) as he went off to check out the secret door in Thistletop that they left and find and torment Gogmurt.

He ended being ambushed by the now very hungry Bunyip (due to it's main food source being wiped out) and eventually with the aid of his Dog and Shalelu (who'd been trailing him) killed it... wandered into Thistletop and nearly died vs the Hermit Crab.

They then had a couple of hours wrestling the gold helmet out of Thistletop before camping for the night in Thistlewood.

The next day I had Shalalu find goblin tracks and the pair went off to 'Hunt some goblins' and eventually found Gogmurt. Now... I'd beefed him up a bit with a new Wolf companion as well as a pair of goblin rangers mounted on worgs.
Thorgar still thought it'd be a walk over (he's kinda got infinate confidence) and it was about half way through the fight that Gogmurt's 'secret' came out.

I'd decided previously that when Gogmurt realised that the entire Thistletop tribe had been killed he started to pray to Lamashtu to grant him vengence upon the PC's. Lamashtu answered by gifting the goblin druid with lycanthropy as a (natural) werewolf :) Needless to say Thorgar was mightly surprised and by the end of the fight Bono and Shalelu were both in the negatives, all the opponents were dead and Thorgar was on 1 hp.

Great illustration. I wish I'd come across this earlier. My PCs captured Gogmurt too and eventually let him go on the condition he led all of the goblins in the thistle tunnels away from Thistletop.

They just returned from sacking Thistletop, and little do they know that Gogmurt has become the new Chief of the Birdcruncher tribe. He's taken to the role of leader with great glee, but hasn't forgotten the meddling longshanks that ousted him from Thistletop and killed his beloved Tangletooth. I plan on having him show up later with a few worg allies. Maybe in the Skinsaw murders as the PCs are exploring the hinterlands.
