One of my favorite aspects of the Pathfinder series thus far is the artwork, esp. WAR's iconics. But it occurred to me that after issue #12, there will be no new iconic to put on the cover.
Who gets the coverspace at that point? And is there someone slotted to do those covers yet so we can check their portfolio out (MIGHT I SUBTLY SUGGEST ANDREW HOU?!?!)

If memory serves they said that after issue 12 they are going to have the most significant NPC of the adventure on the cover. They also in one of the chats mentioned who is going to do the artwork though I can't remeber who it was. My vote is for Ben Wotten myself. Hope that helpsuntil someone who knows more than me chimes in.

I was just thinking about this, actually; the iconics on the covers has been great, except that there's two volumes more than there are iconics in an adventure path, so all the iconics for Crimson Throne are on the covers before the path is a third over... and by the time we get to Second Darkness, there won't be nobody left!

I just hope they look as good as Wayne's Iconics on the cover.
I agree Urza.. one thing that erked me about Eberron though was the artwork style it used. Not that it's bad, just that I didn't care for the style.
Course if I had my way Tony DiTerlizzi would be doing all the artwork. (I'm a big Planescape fan!) ;)

Yah, didn't have my pocket scanner with me. The drow queen and elven general were pretty sweet artwork.
As were the images from Riddleport with that big ole st. louis arch doo-hickey over the bay. It really brought out the scale of just how big some of these ancient leftovers really are..

Woo! I was going to make a post requesting Piazo use Prescott, he's one of my favorite artists.

It's called a digital camera. There are plenty of pictures from the event already online but none show the covers!

I'm pretty sure some pictures were taken of the art... but we asked those who took pictures to hold off posting them until we previewed them online in the blog. We'll do so soon, I suspect.

Yah, so the "pocket scanner" was a Joke. Jeez. Digital camera? If they want to post their art, they will. What do you think this is, Enworld? :-)Mike:
