Hi, looking for a replacement player to take over the character of Bran Stonar in Treasure Hunt. The game will not appeal to everyone; please read the game thread and discussion thread to get a feel for it. Best described as Celtic myth meets Wizard of Earthsea meets swords and sorcery, with a vein of gentle British humour.

We tend to have to beat things to death with whatever happens to be around at the time as we all have horrendous penalties on most known weapons. There is also a slight tendency towards dialect.
I'll admit that I've been watching Fabes' adventure with some interest -and if I wasn't already swamped - I'd offer to join.
The lone American amongst the crazy Brits (or nearly so - didn't you have someone from California?) - I could see that leading to some interesting moments. What fun!

I'd be up for it...I'm playing with you guys in one way or another in 2 other games anyway...plus I live in Oxford (US) and have an old British "motorbike"! Though, as I am in other games I would defer to someone in no games.

I just copped the stats off his alias, but if you want a whole new character I can do that...it'll just mean a delay...I'm cool with it as is (that way I don't have to languish in skill pt pergatory for 2 hrs or something) If I can I'll try and be true to his RP too so as not too upset the game too much..If that's ok with you :)
It honestly is easier if we continue with Bran. I know you didn't create him, so thank you for doing that. We already had to ret-con out one PC. I know the island is a bit weird but it isn't "The Prisoner".

It's one of the good old fashioned ways into an adventure; Conan awoke to the sounds of men speaking the Shemitish tongue and the waves lapping against a hull; his keen barbarian senses etc etc

The artwork is all from the original module, cut and pasted from pdf. The maps and counters are done in GIMP as layers.
