Man, I hope they didn't take that one feat...

IF the robot is the gatekeeper, does this mean that this Sergei guy is the keymaster?

LOL

Hi folks. Sorry, life fnucking with me still. I’m going to get a big update done Monday. I’m still here. Where did this week go??

I'm not sure where YOUR week went.

But I'm pretty certain that if I could find MINE, I would also find where every sock I have lost in the dryer went for the past 40 years!! ;P

Yes, have some

Sidequest:
I apologize in advance. But I DO hope that I can draw out the talking just a LITTLE longer,... (Just 1 or 2 posts) I have a perfect (at least good?!?) response for Mr Mechanical. :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Well, see how the dice treat you ..

Oh yeah, in THAT case I'm doomed,... ;P

EDIT- Yep. DOOMED I tell you!

Meh. STILL worked good for what I was thinking! :D

I'll post in the main thread as soon as I can, I just need to collect my thoughts for a bit

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

No worries. I was wondering how Alessia would react to the dominant

Survey says - not well

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Nice try on the Evil Dead gambit, Rags. Just remember that constructs are just as smart and individualistic as meat sentients. O.L.L.I might have lulled Justin into thinking they are rather literal minded, but that’s more Modron worldview than construct worldview

LOL, I figured is was worth a shot.

At first I thought (Was hoping?) it was a construct-construct, like a golem, as opposed to an intelligent construct.

And besides, I STILL got to channel Ash/Evil Dead and Han/Star Wars in the same post!
I'll take that as a win! ;)

Two natural 20s in a row wasted on a Survival check and an Initiative roll...

LOL,

(Edit)
Better than missing what we looking for, or going last! :)

Alessia, while walking alone, notes a small canyon opening in a series of eroded hills. She veers off, and sees that the opening descends into a narrow canyon that plunges down into the earth. She notes that the sandstone rock about the entrance of the arroyo is marked with pictographs and hieroglyphs well worn with time.

Actions?

I'm assuming that the rest of the group, while they don't see the hieroglyphs, did see Alessia veer off the path-- she's in front of everyone, and she's not that far away

Tempted to just charge into the tomb over on the main thread...

ROFL,

Well, Alessia DOES have good reason to be pretty 'unhappy' with the mummies at the moment.

And we already know that she holds a grudge. Ergo her current state. ;P

Not saying that she SHOULD., just that I can't really argue any character reasons that she wouldn't,...

(Oh, dear. We're in trouble, aren't we?) ;)

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

You're going to make Karrin think you're looking to become a mummy again

Or

Or both. Whatever your preference in situations such as this. :)

Hmmm... again tempted to just jump down the hole and soak the damage...

Hopefully the pit isn't filled with sharp, gem-encrusted spikes.

Um, ouch, yes that would be,... bad.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

How could you be so stupid to not use your sonar first?

By Pelor’s pizzle, that movie certainly hasn’t aged well

ROFL!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I’m having fun constructing this little side tomb project. I should have an update Monday

Oh Boy! :)

OR,... should that be,...

Uh-Oh! BOY?!?!? O_O

;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

OK. I’m having one of those Mondays. I’ll be updating Thursday. I might post innocuous stuff prior, but I won’t have access to my mapmaking until thurs

Copy that!

I'll be dealing with the University Presidents Speech set up and production through Wed anyway. :)
(Not to mention, the USUAL insanity that always happens trying to straighten out the schedules the week before classes start!) ;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Sooooo. Thursday turned out to be Monday part deux. But, hope shines upon Friday. I have new maps partially completed for every game, since all three are going into hostile mapped regions

All three? What's the third one?

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

The Opalline Tide

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

You probably remember Opal from the way old game we played where you were that paragon of greed, Vilya.

This one is the same setting, but with the savage tide AP as the plot

OOF, Sorry to hear that.

If it makes you feel any better, this is week before University classes begin. So EVERY day has been Monday! ;P

All three?
Um, excuse me, I have some PC's who may need to update their wills,... ;)

Have a great weekend all!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Ugh. Again, apologies. My work has been kind of crazy. But, I will be trying to get some in tonight and tomorrow morning. Stay tuned!

I hear you, updating games sometimes there just isn't time, MUCH harder to post as a DM than as a PC. :-(

What? Work=Crazy? What are the odds? ;P

All good!

Shadow is correct, It must be much harder to do an update as a DM.
Heck I can barely manage to do updates as a PC!
(Although it may be hard to tell from the length of some of my posts) ;P

(One of the many, many reasons why I have not tried to do a PbP myself yet.) ;)

Though good news at work today, I am seeking to verify with the agent but if I read his workpapers right, I saved a client $700,000 in taxes. My wife was like, if only you got a cut of that, indeed, if only!

This audit has been open since 2018. I believe that is the third or fourth largest tax savings I have ever provided to a client (though most of the time I get clients No Changes so technically there is "nothing" to save). The largest, I'll never duplicate again, $15,000,000. That s~!* was crazy.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Yeah, speaking of cuts of the loot, I'm tracking down a combined total of 20.2 Mil in missing disbursements that are hiding somewhere in the government systems. I'd settle for 1%, it's not much to ask, right? :D

LOL, I'm surprise it's ONLY $20.2M. Somehow, the Pentagon has sent the same $3B to Ukraine like three times, and I'm not sure that's counting the OTHER $113B they sent nor the OTHER $25B that's been asked to be sent for next month. I should have been a weapons systems engineer instead of a lawyer :-(

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I deal in an odd system space. We actually send money back to the Army, which only confuses them.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

*phew*

All three maps up. That sidequest one was a stone beyootch

I have GOT to learn NOT to drink ANYTHING when reading your alls posts at my PC!

(I have gone through more keyboards that way) ;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Ok. Week started off bumpy, but I should have an easier time of it these next couple of days. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow

Annnnnd, my AC died.
Again.
And my free-lance AC guy is slammed, and cannot get to me until tomorrow.

(I hate Lousy-anna in the summertime!)

Looks like Im packing up and going to sleep in a hotel tonight.

Ugh.

;P

That scarab artwork on the map page looks really familiar...

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

LOL right? I was wondering when you would catch that. It's from my favorite artist :)

SOOOOoooo,...
Under the category of, 'It never rains but it pours'
(Or, 'Adding insult to injury')

The 'cold' I have had for a week is now officially COvid. ;P

We figure that my recent radiation treatments lowered my immune response somewhat. (Because of course it did)

On the plus side, at least my AC is working! (The main AC breaker had fried. I replaced all the big double pole breakers in the box)

On with the show! :)

Ugh, well, at least it's a mild case!!!
