Hi.
Sorry to bother you, but a lot of people around here have been doing open letters to Paizo, and I thought I'd get on that bandwagon. I personally don't have much to say to anyone specific on Paizo's staff, so I found someone else to write an open letter to. It happened to be you.
I don't really know much about you other than you are the president of Kyrgyzstan. I don't really know much about Kyrgyzstan either other than you're next to Kazakhstan and they made a funny movie about someone who comes from there.
Anyway, happy leading and hope your country fares well and all that stuff.
Again, my apologies.
Sincerely,
Whimsy Chris

What's the difference between an open letter and a closed letter?
Well, line up St Paul and Martin Luther King with Mr Moore- the Open Letter has a long and distinguished history, look it up sometime.

I was being tongue-in-cheek - I hope you were too.

Of course ;)
As we're standing here talking about heads of state- a shout out to Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in Ireland, whose political career is rapidly slipping down the toilet, now that great stinking wodges of cash have been inexplicably found in his bank accounts. Couldn't wish it on a nicer bloke.

Shall I write an open letter to him too...I can't promise much more substance than my previous one...other than, "Bummer, dude."

Or plain ol' Martin Luther. Although in truth, he wasn't trying to cause a schism, he was just participating in a early PbP. Every few days players would nailed what their character was doing to the church door. Poor Martin Luther got stuck playing the cleric.

Another Paizonian sees the truth.

Are you sure that he wasn't trying to come out with his own edition of the pHB (priest's Holy Bible)?
;)
(Luther rather enjoyed playing a cleric - just not under the standard ruleset of the time. He married a former nun and had a lot of kids.)

Hey, he had a lot of time to make up for.

All this Open/Closed thing reminds me of my favourite Marx Brother quote. "Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read."
