A Bridge Too Far - I probably watch this 5 times a year
The Painted Oryx wrote: Hey, anyone know where I can buy Pathfinder products in Vancouver, BC? I've seen a pretty good selection at the Comic Shop on W 4th at Arbutus.
Thought provoking and interesting, but at times too much like an agenda being shoved down my throat (I mean more so than usual compared to documentaries with a lighter touch).
I must admit, I was turned off at times by what I perceived as disingenous statements - for example, the connections drawn between the Lusitania and US involvement in WWI. Specifically, saying the US joined WWI "shortly after" the sinking of the Lusitania is a misleading statement at best.
Forget ideology, isn't this the crux of the problem: "mortgages being given to people who had no assets and no income, prudent lending went out of the window"
I am a grognard Canadian lurker, loyal subject of King Mona and Empress Lisa

I'm just about done work, so I'd best go get the dogs ready to sled me back home... Not that funny man ... It was COLD this morning. My son broke out his winter housecoat when he got up early to watch the summer olympics.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I must go check and see if the snowblower is properly fueled. Lest any of our gentle readers from south of the border get the wrong idea, not all of Canada is barren wasteland - just the part east of the Rockies ;) Specifically, the interior of BC is a land of gumdrops and lollypops with happiness and sunshine always...
A Bridge Too Far, with Casablance close on its heels
Took 3 of my kids (ages 3, 5, and 8) to see this last weekend. We all really enjoyed it, and my 3 year old didn't leave his seat until the very end (remarkable in and of itself!) All 3 kids had a different favourite animal and kung fu style.
Must have been tough to fit XVIII on one of those little sides
Bought it. Love it. I have most of the original classic Traveller line, and the Mongoose edition pushes all the right nostalgia buttons for me.

Picks jaw up from computer desk
you guys so totally rock

You never know who might be a member, and, of course, there's some overarching, grand conspiracy tying everything together...the PCs are pawns. I like your suggestion - fits well with the description of the leadership of the pathfinders in the Gazeteer as well.
I've pre-ordered the Beta and the Hardcover. PFRPG all the way babeee (you'll have to imagine the Dick Vitale impression)
The inability to publish both GSL and OGL material makes the partnership between Necro and Paizo look like an increasingly smart long-term strategic move - my respect for Paizo management seems to increase on a weekly basis!
"My account" now contains a sidecart section, which I've never noticed before. I've always had my subscription setting at "never hold anything", but all of a sudden it appears that there's several items being held up waiting for others that are still on pre-order.
A recent bug methinks?
What's the difference between an open letter and a closed letter?
I'm thrilled beyond belief - way to go Paizo!!
Order #885735 shipped Tuesday, arrived in my hot little hands Thursday (today). Now I know B.C. isn't that far geographically from the Emerald city, but geez, 2 days is fast, especially considering the border!
Thanks, and keep up the good work (my credit card company thanks you)!
I don't look good in leggings...
I'm concerned that Order # 863402 may have become lost in transit. The shipping advice suggested 7 to 11 days in transit. An order shipped the day after this one arrived about 2 weeks ago, increasing my level of concern. I'm worried this order may have fallen prey to a rogue postmonster within the USPS, obviously jealous of Gary Teter's power and knowledge...

I've read a siege adventure in which the bad guys used GCs and Puddings as catapult ammo, some with buffs cast on them... Don't remember where though
In the Dragonmech setting you can outfit your mech with ooze launchers.
But really I think yaks would make better ammo. I would be remiss if I didn't add that gnomes (both living and dead) make excellent catapult ammunition. Ahh, the sound of gnome striking castle walls...so satisfying...
Please remove the Medieval Player's Manual from this order.
Thanks, and
Cheers (mmm...Eggnog...)

Olaf the Stout wrote: Could someone at Paizo answer this question for me:
When one/some items in an order need to be backordered, are the other items that in that order set aside for that person or not? In other words, by waiting for an item on backorder to arrive, do I run the risk of other items that were in stock at the time of my order selling out in the meantime?
I must admit to a similar concern
That works for me
Thanks!
I have noticed that the Medieval Players Manual has been on backorder for a while. Could you please remove this from the order, presuming that this will allow the remainder of the order to ship?
Thanks,
Jeff
I'll stick with Paizo and Pathfinder products regardless of the version used (and regardless of whether I ultimately decide to buy 4E rule books or not).
Just arrived and looks great!
Thanks Paizo, your customer service is, as always, legen - wait for it - DARY! Yes, high five...
Unfortunately the package received did not include the copy of Gamemastery module D1 that was ordered. This appears on the order history but is missing from the shipment information sheet and the package itself. Is it arriving under different cover?
Cheers,
Jeff
Number of PDF's ordered, all but one of which downloaded without incident. However, unable to personalize "Blueprints: The Great City - Trades Ward" for some reason.
