Riese can cast now.... rolled HP for 1d4+3 and got 6(linked in the profile) for 17 total. Paragon1/Evoker1, no abjuration or enchantment, with Energy affinity:fire (+1cl for fire spells).
Just need to get some flow so I can ditch this f***ed up crossbow that don't hit s**t for a combat wand....

Also, Savage Tide--there's things in there I like; don't know what or when, but does grifting off of that bother anybody?

Oh, um, also I thought that if you wanted to keep the little cthulu around he could hang with Riese as a non-familiar familiar. He could pretend to be mine until I can spend a feat to take him on(can you do that?) or something. Unfortunately I gave up a familiar for an alternate ability, but if you want him to hang out and pester people he could use Riese's shoulder.

I was thinking, if I can angle stuff to where a trip to Scuttlecove is utilitous, I'd go crazy with that freaking place; from the Dungeon magazine adventures, though, it looks like you better be at least 5th level to step off the ship or you'll just get beat down by muggers, robbed and killed, dumped in an alley; so that's a while away at least...

Alright, we didn't do anything wrong in the barfight, just defended ourselves and now it looks like we are gonna get run out of town. I say we just stay put and wait for the guard. I ain't gonna leave my hometown and family because a bunch of imbeciles decided to try to kill my companions and got slain. If the guard wants to try me for 'murder' than so be it. I won't kill any guardsmen.
