Okay--I know now that Vatter's wants to be an alienist. My Dreamlands book, also ideas from Spires of Xin-Shalast or whatever, might could jive with that.
Anybody else got any PrC's they're drooling over? I'll make sure they jive.
I have thought about it...but I'll look into it...Muhawawawawawawawa

The Alienist is really cool. But it's not so much that I really want to become one as it seems like a fun thing to look into if the Dreamlands/Chuthulu thing keeps coming.
I just threw it out there to see if I got a nibble, plus I like zoogs. Then, Eltan turned into a cat, and they just HAD to attack. If somebody tweaks on the Dreamlands angle, I essentially know I'm fishing with the proper bait.
Sometimes I feel like this world I'm running is a little like the Australian Aborigines Dreamtime...they sing up the sun so it rises in the morning. Or so I've heard; I haven't hung out with enough Australian Aborigines to know what I'm talking about; kinda like ERB never went to Africa, so Tarzan suffered for that...

I'm geeked!!!
Hey, Alex,....
sorry I dmpc'ed you; I thought this battle would rage all afternoon; I didn't know Paizo would shut down.
If you wanna jump in on this fight, there's copious time before their next attack, just check the last page or so to get a feel of what's happening.
We're almost to Saltmarsh; everybody'll level up and have time to talk to this and that n.p.c. for a day or three, so this week or so is a pretty easy time to slide back into it if you're feeling it.
I just don't want you to feel that you've been out of the mix too long or anything like that.

No worries sir...it is I who should be apologizing. Recovery from sickness in combination with fact that "everyone" else has gotten it has made me the go-to guy for all the unfinished projects at work...I'm still there now and sneaking into see what's been going on with the site, Paizo, etc.
Hopefully I can sit down later and I'll add to the mayhem as best I can.
Again, my apologies for my inactivity...I feel like that guy in the Gamers movie - just standing around while everything else happens.

The only caveat I would add at this stage is the lack of a barbarian class in the current version. I was wondering about something similar for my RotRL campaign.
We asked Jason about that (and druids, and rangers) in the chat. I don't think he answered specifically when those rules would be coming, but there would be further alpha releases quite soon.
I'd be up for it in your RotRL campaign too, although it might be a bit tougher to convert the higher level characters - seems appropriate for the setting though!

I'm into it. I need to get into a situation where I can print the thing out, and that might take a couple days. I'm concerned about the people with unconverted classes, so that's the only thing giving me pause for the moment. Except the druid. He's fragging the opposition pretty righteously. ;)

Heheh, yeah, I am digging the 'generic' shapeshifter. Lots of magical goodness, right up my alley. Only problem is, he can dish it out, but he can't take it! He's got this glass jaw, (OK, so it's not as bad as the paper-mache' jaw of a 1st lvl caster, but still,...) ;P
I am up for almost anything. But I'll have to scope out the Alpha before I make any definite decisions. I'll let ya know.

Lol Heathy,
From the beginning I've been writing that the wagon belonged to Ryan at the Blue Frog Brewery, and that he was the guy that sent the beer. Stig wrote him a letter. When we rolled into Saltmarsh Stig gave "Ryan" the wagon back....
That's where Stig works, it's not far from the Lizard's Boat.
Whatever. Retcon=It was Kailee's wagon and he sent the beer.

Oops!!! It was the end of the day....reeeeeeeeeeeel late.
Retcon retcon.....It IS Ryan's wagon; Kailee just talking smacky talk, like "MY" wagon is what Ryan's saying...
It's his wagon.
I was just up real late going back into work at 9 p.m. and done at midnite, so things tend to leak out of my ear when it's like that, mon.
