Dayenn, you are going to regret that I cannot cast silence. Because now I have to do it manually.

Ah, reminds me of the good old days. With my old high school crew it was always a big risk to miss a game session, as the DM and other players tended to do dangerous and/or horrible things to your character.

For Armand and Nathan** spoiler omitted **
Well, I wrote this a page ago:
My idea of how Armand's wife (Marie) died was that she in a fit of insanity committed suicide in some way (either on purpose, i.e. directly damaging herself, or indirectly, e.g. by falling off a building, throwing herself on a spiky cast iron fence etc.). Armand is sure that she must have been either possessed in some way or something must have "stolen" her sanity and is now searching for clues to what kind of "mind" demon could have done such a thing.
Whether she actually was possessed or just went plain bonkers I'll leave up to you. :-D
Not exactly the same as the apparent mutilation of Nathan's wife (if it really was Nathan's wife they found!?!).
Any kind of mutilation that Armand's wife would have suffered from would have been self-inflicted... or at least made to look self-inflicted... ;-)

I wasn't specific as to how long afterwards the body was discovered - the mutilation could have been partially due to animals, weather, etc.

Gentlegiant, sorry about that.
Anyways, Armand's apparent suicide jibes with what I have in mind.
For Nathan** spoiler omitted **
EDIT: That's suppose to refer to Armand's wife's suicide.
FYI: My country takes the Holy Week seriously. Hence, we have a four-day long vacation starting March 20 up to March 23. No worries. Have internet access at home.

The shadow gleefully rubs its hands together. "And Marius thought that I'd forgotten him. A very erroneous assumption. Mwahahahaha!!!"

Of course not. But anytime there is violence in a nice restaurant I start thinking Hong Kong gangster movie and start imaging the place getting totally trashed and body parts everywhere. I love that. Grim is a nice guy despite his deep loathing for "civilization" so he would never do that of course.
Nor would he eat babies. He makes the joke because he despises the society, their pretense, their judgement.
