Sharinda shakes her head as Vik exits
"Yeh'd think yeh would've seen everything possible working in this place. I need a vacation." Sharinda mutters softly
"Sounds neat!" Karrin says, Karrin turns to Sharinda, "oh boy! Fill er' up," she says sliding the plate to the gnome.
"I'm not going to join any of these groups for now, no reason to stir things up just yet, but I'm totally going to check them out sometime. Tell me about this lady Plz."

Sharinda clears off the empty plates and the platter of Baatorian Rock Octopus tentacles.
"I'll bring you some more lamb chops and mashed taters luv."

Freshly-fried lambchops smoke on one plate, a bowl of buttery-yellow mashed potatoes sit in another. A thick slice of cherry pie sits under a scoop of some creamy cold delicacy.
"There yeh go luv. Anything else? I brought you some cherry pie and vanilla ice cream. Yeh might not have had the ice cream before, it's tough to keep frozen, but it's worth it."

Karrin looks over the food and Karrin's tongue quickly darts out and licks her lips, "Looks good Sharinda, "I've never had monillia ice cream before but I'll try anything. Thank you."
She quickly snatches up a spoon and takes a taste of the vanilla ice cream first.
"Mmm," Karrin says in surprise, "This is really good, I've never had Monillia before but it's really tasty! You know we never had anything this good back home, well brother Bailly could make a good stew, but he never made it spicy (because of Brother Timmos and Brother zimmer). We almost never had sweets and we almost never had fresh meat. I've never eaten so good sense I found the planes . . . I sure do miss home but I really love all this food."
A touch of emotion creeps into Karrin's voice with that last sentience but Karrin quickly wipes away the hint of a tear and she makes sort work of the ice cream and pie.

A diminutive blue form skitters about the legs of the patrons of the World Serpent Inn. Undaunted by their large size, the heroic creature jinks and weaves a torturous path as he avoids feet, paws, hooves and other various means of locomotion.
After vainly searching for hours for the reptilian creature he had seen when he first arrived at this strange place, he eventually gets tired. He makes his way back to the table where he had talked to some of the big folk before, panting and puffing from the time spent navigating the floor of the inn. He shinnies up the table leg with surprising dexterity and arrives at the top of the talbe.
"Holy Papa Smurf that's a long trip! Hey, could someone get that big lady with the drinks?"
"Pardon me, small one. Do you mind if I share your table?"
Traveller Smurf looks at the new arrival
"Sure thing! More the merrier I say. There were some people here, but now it's just these two."
Traveller Smurf points to the two tieflings.
"There was a little human girl here too, but I think she went to check on her robo ... whatever a 'robo' is."
hmm-"I'm not familiar with a 'robo'. Perhaps it is some type of pet?"
Traveller Smurf shrugs his small blue shoulders.
"Maybe smurf. She didn't say smurf about it, she was too smurfy smurfing her tea."
"Your form appears somewhat mutable. Is this a feature of your race?"
Traveller Smurf looks down at himself.
"What do you smurf?"
"Perhaps my eyes decieved me. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Saurig, called the Farwalker."
Traveller Smurf looks up at the large scaly fellow.
"Pleased to smurf you! I am Traveller Smurf, a lost traveller from a distant smurf. I was smurfing for a being who looked like you. I can't seem to smurf him. The large lady who serves owes me a couple of drinks, would you like a smurf?"
"Certainly I will join you in a drink, Travellar. What do you reccomend?"

"I only just had some flower nectar a few hours ago before I went looking for that smurf who looked like you. The girl there drinks something called 'grog', but I don't smurf what that is."
I am partial to a beverage called 'port' myself. The various vintages have a pleasing sweetness and aroma without being overly potent. May I order one for you?
"What's port?" Karrin asks when she realizes that Zigal has drifted off, "It's not a place where they keep ships right? It's a type of drink right? Is it better then grog?"

"Absosmurfly! In fact I think I smurf the waitress coming now."
Sharinda hustles along the crowded tables, dispensing food and drink to the various patrons at her table. She arrives again at our heroes' table and takes in the newcomer.
"Greetings sir, would yeh be wanting something to eat or drink? "
She glances at Traveller Smurf
"Oh. Yer back again sprite. Another flower nectar? "
Sharinda's expression softens when she looks at Karrin
"Yeh good luv? Plenty of pie and ice cream left if yeh want it."
Good day to you, Hostess. I would have you bring bottle of your finest Prime port- but nothing enchanted. I wish to introduce my new friends to the potable. Perhaps we will wait on the victuals until they have tasted the wine with a clear palate.
And speaking of introductions, what may I call you, Miss? This is Travellar and I am Saurig.
"I'm Karrin Kind and this is Sharinda," The young tiefling says, "and I'd love some more pie and ice cream Sharinda please, this place has the best food in the entire universe!"
Sharinda looks at Saurig
"I think we have some a' that bub somewheres. Some Guvners from some backwater Prime world named Brytannius or summat like that usedta come here for drinks and cigars; they always ordered it. I'll ask Mitchifer if he has a bottle left."
Sharinda smiles at Karrin.
"Thanks luv. It's always nice to be appreciated. I'll bring yeh an extra-big slice and some more ice cream on top."

Sharinda beams at the enthusiastic Tiefling
"Right. Be right back with it then."
Sharinda bustles off in a swirl of bright-colored skirts.
"What goes well with port? I can eat just about anything with grog. It's better then swish and cheaper than beer. It's all I drink . . . except water and milk. Those things build muscles, and I drink them all the time like my father told me too, but sense I came to the planes I drink a lot of grog now. Grogs got lime and beer and rum in it, plus all sorts of secret pirate spices, so it's probably good for you too."
Actualy, your ice cream goes fairly well with port. As does cheese, crackers, or many types of desert. And it is made from fruit, so its good for you, too.
Traveller Smurf looks up at his new friend
"I just SMURF anything made from fruit. It wouldn't happen to have Smurfberries in it would it?"

Karrin gets a nervous look on her face as she wonders how to answer her diminutive companion.
"Um . . . maybe," Karrin eventually says.

Sharinda appears from the kitchens with several large plates balanced precariously on her small shoulder. She dishes them out to several patrons before arriving at the table. She places several pieces of cherry pie with vanilla ice cream in front of the companions.

picking up the bottle slowly and carefully opening it, then pouring gently into the array of glasses
Thank you, Sharinda. This should be a treat. Friends, I find it most enjoyable if you first warm the glass in you hands before drinking.

"You got back just in time! We're having Pie! And Ice cream! It's Monilla flavored! Tastes like vanilla but it's white instead of black. And Saurig is teaching us about port . . . not the kind you park ships in, I'll tell you that right now, but the kind you drink! First thing you need to do Zigal is you need to warm the glass up with your hand . . . oh Saurig could I use a flame to speed things along?"

"I guess we keep you on your feet don't we," Karrin says, feeling a bit guilty, "if you're busy just forget about it, we can try some grog another time. I really don't want to be a bother."
