He sure was but his search for his family has come to a tragic end... another reason why you guys have to stop the goblins.

I haven't had much time to sit down and read it yet, but it looks the PF Alpha 2 release is out and there's some interesting changes for the sorceror class.
We seem pretty set as it is for rules system; but if there's any plans to change or adjust - let me know what is workable on that class. I don't necessarily think wholesale change is needed for the character; but just wondering for reference.
Back later on.

Just "buy" it from the Pathfinder RPG section. It costs 0.00$, but you still have to make an order though. It will then be available in your downnloads section ("My Downloads").
I don't think it will change Szaranoth's class very much, as he uses a PHB II class, that was already designed with 4th edition in mind. It has ongoing effects, that do not exhaust during the day.
OTOH I am very much for changing to 3.P... I like the skills and feat sections, plus the Combat maneuvers and the others all have core classes (fighter, druid, sorcerer) that would all benefit from this.
I would just ask, that for feat selections, anything that was designed specifically for the Dragon Shaman would still be accessible to Szaranoth.

I have been doing a playtest Pbp (Foray into the Foehammers) with Alpha rules, more for fun and curiosity - but we planned it from scratch and so it was seemless so far.
We seem to be doing OK with standard rules - and while there's some interesting aspects to the sorceror class - I am not absolutely dying to switch unless there's a majority interest. Also, multi-classing hasn't been covered, so in my case I don't know if there would be more changes later.
So, I'm on the fence - mostly its not a big deal. I just brought it up because I know some Pbp's have been doing the switch in mid-game.

Guys I may be gone at the beach til Tuesday. I'll try to use my laptop there, but I'm not certain whether we'll have internet. Then on Wednesday I'm going somewhere else, and I may or may not be able to use the computer there. It's not really certain.
At any rate, feel free to NPC Grael as necessary.

Sounds cool, man. I'm assuming you're getting to enjoy the Memorial Day holiday. Have a good one. ;-)

Grael, Ingowil and Etellio, what are your plans for the rest of the evening? Would you be interested in learning new things, acquiring something, or meeting someone? Any PrC ambitions I should be aware about?
Currently, Szaranoth is off to talk to a certain contact, while Targ is talking with Shalelu about gobbos.

I'm good with any of the above. Meeting another person in Sandpoint would be nice.

Etellio is somewhat interested in Shalelu; his curiosity about elves is part of it. He certainly could be somewhat attracted to her - but that's still nebulous - and he doesn't want to seem weird by asking too much about elven cultural stuff. I think meeting our hostess at the Rusty Dragon could also be interesting; at least to thank her for the free food.
Otherwise, he's certainly curious in walking around Sandpoint, maybe. Given his multi-classing, getting a short sword or rapier would be helpful. Some thieves tools might also be a priority; but he's pretty cash poor right now - unless we had a windfall I forgot about.

Lemme think on this one.

Slowly getting back up to speed.
I was mostly joking. :)
For the most part, Targ is content to hang out in the Rusty Dragon, talking and drinking and sewing his new goblin teeth onto his belt. The only other thing would be to revisit Father Zantus, as Targ is still wounded from the day's battles, but it might be better to do that first thing in the morning to give him a chance to regain the spells he's no doubt used up on all the townsfolk.
