It seems the official SRD goes live with the core book. So that should be enough for us to convert even if we do not have our books yet
Aight. Syl'thanos is upgraded. For his Hit Die increase, I just added 1 hit point for each level, hope that is alright.

Well it seems the Paizo site has settle down a bit and the messageboards are back so we can get things rolling again!
Hopefully everyone has their copy of PFRPG or the PDF by now and if not the official PRD is up and running with everything we need to switch over to the PFRPG. Now this is going to take a little time I understand, lots of reading to do and such so I am giving us a couple of weeks to make changes and discuss any issues you might have with the new system. Don't hesitate to post your questions or issues here and I will get to them as quick as I can. If you don't feel for some reason posting here then just shoot me an email!
Now I know we started things with the old system and many changes have been made for good or the bad and you all had certain visions on how you wanted your pc's to grow as the game continues which conflict with the new rules. We are all here to have fun so I have no problem house ruling certain issues that come up and I diffinately don't want those issues to become deal breakers for you not wanting to play your pc anymore! So please let me know of any things you have problems with and we can deal with them together to resolve them.
Ok, Sept. 1 is the goal I have set for myself and this game to be fully converted and moving along smoothly. I plan on my days off coming up to spend the whole time working on the new rules and how they effect the AP, make changes where needed and deal with anything you come up with if any! The game will continue on as normal!
I will post for some new players this week sometime! So what pc's do you all think we need to round out the party? I'll let you all make the call and then post for those positons only!

No worries mate, take your time, we are in no hurry here! Tonight has been the smoothess night connection wise on Paizo for me. Hope your connection picks up for you as I know you got many games going here and many things to do!!! I'm excited to see all of your new rage stuff in action!
one thing I wanted to ask. As elves now get a +2 Int can I juggle his stats about a bit, as he now ccan have 2 and still have 2 extra points or ya want me to just leave it as is. Oh and I can not recall how we did hp at a new level..was it half + con or did we roll?...sorry to many games

Yes go ahead and juggle! I have not read yet how they are doing it in the new book, usually I just said max hp + con bonus to make it easy. I will check it out and let you know if I want to change this but for now just go with I said above!

Ok looks like everyone is done! As soon as this combat is over we will start using the new rules! I still have a lot of reading to do so if I miss something don't hesitate to point it out so I can learn. work had been getting in the way of my free time of reading but I won't be a problem. I need to get all of the games back on track tonight and if I don't fall asleep I will post for new player, if not then tomorrow for sure!

I assumed 3,000 starting gold for a third level character and purchased magic items: an earth elemental gem (my ace in the hole in case of dire need) and a couple pinches of dust of tracelessness.
My character is an illusionist (Wiz3) practically incapable of physical combat.

EDIT: I noticed that several recent posts do not all use the same campaign name. Couldn't we get all our rolls listed on the same campaign page if we used the same campaign name? Syl Used "RotRL" and several others didn't give a campaign name.
I didn't notice before that Roine had an emphasis on summoning. To avoid overlap, and if no one objects, I'm going to swap out Summon Monster I for Charm Person.
Graynore, I'll mention that Roine's Color Spray overlaps Ebenezer's specialization, in case you want to make a similar swap (of course it's fine with me if we both color spray).
I think I'm gonna keep color spray. It's the only blast effect that I have that won't start the whole place of fire. Could come in handy later. Never know what the day might bring.

Cool! But I wonder why the +7 appears twice. And why show the unmodified die result? No one needs it, and you can infer it with a little arithmetic. Also, what's with the weird := symbol?

Interesting, the expanded dice result doesn't show up inside of a quote.
I see your point about crits and 10d6 making the unmodified result useful. I still wish the modifier didn't get repeated. Maybe it could be
That aside, the biggest problem is the ease of cheating. I hope our pbp doesn't use the new dice roller for that reason.
