Y'know, I was definitely not pulling on the rubber gloves and wading into the pile, especially not with both the Kelemvor priest and Big T right next to the scene. :P
Having said that, I hope the bird picked up some valuable things, and not just pyrite and quartz. But, hey, it is a net win nonetheless.

It's a shame about that sorcerer, he would have been more useful, but also more resilient to interrogation. Alas, Absalon has no healing skill to speak of with which to make the sorcerer serviceable for questioning, nor the inclination. Who knows what surprises he may have had up his sleeves. Er...you know, besides the all-knowing DM.

Heal can be done untrained, you know. But, if you're not inclined to try, I'm not inclined to let him stabilize on his own either. :)

Yeah, I have no difficulty running two scenes (or three, or four...) at once in a play-by-post format.

My apologies for my delay, but during my vacation I had the misfortune of having my wife's purse stolen with all of our financial information in it. It has taken days (and is still taking time) to sort out, close accounts and whatnot. I am here, and hope to post shortly.

Just when things seem to be resolving themselves a new issue crops up. I am hoping to post later tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I believe the worst of it is under control now. I can tell you that id theft is a nightmare to sort out and the systems are not in place to help you at all; in fact, they work against you alot of the time while aiding the thieves.
Worst of all: my cancelled card will almost certainly delay my last Dragon magazine! *weep*

Guys, as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm moving onwards down to Tucson today. We don't have internet there yet, so I don't really think I'll be online again before Monday - and that'll be at school, so it will probably be less often than than before. FYI, I'm leaving at stupid-thirty Saturday morning to head back to Ohio, where I shall R&R for a couple of days before loading up trucks and high-tailing it to Indy, and GenCon. Then I'm sticking around for a ten-day vacation after that, visiting the ever-so-exotic locale of Troy, Michigan, then driving back to Seattle. While I will be checking mail and whatnot on my work laptop during that time, I don't know how much time I'll have to make more posts - it IS GenCon, after all.
Then again, at this rate, there won't BE any new posts while I'm gone...
Boss, if you need me, you know my email address, feel free to ping away. OR just come to GenCon and hang with the Paizo crew! :-)
I'm really sorry, guys, but with my free time slowly dwindling due to increased workloads and the mysterious disappearance of half the game's players... I may have to declare this campaign deceased. :(
It was great fun while it lasted. I'm sorry we couldn't get much further into the story I had planned. Perhaps, if time and interest permits, I may resurrect this game in the future. My apologies.

I have finally returned to the land of the living after not being online here for weeks. The entire identity-theft thing is impossible to resolve, but it seems to have settled down enough to where I can resume a normal life of sorts.
I too am sorry the game ended Fatespinner, but it is often the fate of online games. Schedules and events can make even meatspace gaming hard and online the commitment is even harder to keep. I am sorry for my long hiatus, but at least we can see each other on the regular boards.
Thanks for taking the time to run the game Fatespinner. I enjoyed my part in it.

No sign from Lich, so I've decided to go ahead and NPC Shador. I've also opened the game up for one (or possibly two) more players to join in. Unfortunately, my co-worker failed his licensing exam last Friday and had to take some study courses this week, leaving me as the only person in the office. Thus, I have been quite busy and haven't had time to get a post up yet. Hopefully, I'll have some time this upcoming Thursday or Friday when he gets back.

For my part there's been a lot of talking up the huge beast of a northman and the potent spawn he could supply to their warriors once properly reared. The notion that they could have some eight foot tall deathdealer has got Berzeral absolutely giddy. It is simultaneously his primary motivation as well as their payment.
Now granted there's some difficulties...of course, but nothing that can't be overcome with guile and the proper application of malice.
So I was supposed to e-mail Fatespinner, but somewhere along the line between copying his addy and pasting it somewhere I forgot to actually paste it anywhere before shutting down my computer. Yay me!
So anyway the hope was just to work over what's happened during Berzeral's time away from the group and how to get him back in. Unless I've missed anything I gather he's gone and visited the Hyenas--specifically a charming guy named Bloodhound (something happened here). Then he gets seen by Shador with a bundle of supplies or whatnot leaving from there (presumably not her things though, since those would be at her house, not at the Hyena flophouse--and he also would likely have tried to get them back to her that same night). Then the next morning he drops by the apartment looking to take the girl off into the wastes to be attended to (ie. magically boondoggled en route and kept prisoner for nine months or so). The expectation was to be that he would be gone for nearly a month, and pays the other guys five gold for their troubles, leaving him with something in the neighborhood of 15 gold left.

I apologize for the continued delays guys. My in-laws are visiting this week so I haven't had much time to compose anything at home and I'm really getting buried in work lately. We may be... "removing" my co-worker from his position soon due to incompetence and I'm stuck running damage control for him. It's quite unpleasant. Bear with me and I assure you that I will get things started back up in the relatively near future.
Just as soon as I can see some part of my desk again....
I totally understand. It's no sooner than you've got your heading and plotted a nice course, that the wind cuts out all together. Or there's a storm. Or a seagull poops on your map. I know how it is.
