I really like writing product reviews (just in case y'all hadn't noticed) because I'm always interested to know what other players/DMs think of a product before I buy it.
Anywhoo... yesterday I tried three times to post a review for the War Drums Starter Set. Three times my review was eaten and I had to retype my lengthy complaint. It goes to preview and then erases the text and I have to start over. Then when I click save changes, it just kicks me back to the Paizo home page and the review disappears again.
Wondering whether a PDF that I downloaded yesterday off your site might have somehow interfered with my ability to complain :), I tried again this morning - twice... with the same frustrating result.
Please help. My ability to complain is being repressed and I'm not sure how much longer I can make it!
Seriously, am I suddenly doing something wrong or is there just a glitch in the website?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I was unable to find anything in our error logs about your review. I apologize for the difficulties you're having, but don't really have any suggestions. Except one: try typing up your review in a separate text editor, then copy & paste into the review box. That way at least if the site eats your review you can just paste it again into a new one.

What I always do (when I'm being longwinded or get pulled away by the phone or whatever) and I don't feel like composing into a separate text editor is to just copy the post just before hitting "Preview" or "Submit".
That way if it gets eaten, you just hit paste.
Of course, I usually remember to do that just after I've hit the button.

Also, sometimes your computer can be to blame. Try rebooting the comp and maybe that will help. It is a long shot, but it has helped before with me.
I doubt its the computer. My theory is there is some kind of a time limit. After X period of time the whole thing seems to time out and a post gets eaten. This is deeply annoying because your most likely to bump into this problem after putting a ton of thought and work into a post which of course makes it infuriating for the post to be eaten.
As has been mentioned above - if your going to post at Paizo do yourself a favour and at least copy your post to the clip board so that you can paste it in again if the post gets eaten. Especially for those long posts where you spent a lot of time picking out just the right words.

Gary Teter's advice is good; I used to get a lot of posts eaten, but have been copying them to a text editor and then paste and it works much better; seems there is a timeout issue with long posts meaning posts that take a lengthy time to write and as this can be the case when writing while thinking about the issue at hand, I suggest you also write to a text editor and paste afterward. I also use Cosmo's advice on posts which works also. If you hit the post funtion and your system stalls or the network or whatever; just copy and paste to and editor; stop the post; paste and post again; also, preview seems to work for me.
I used to yell and grind my teeth imagining some huge data monster eating my posts; whew, guess I am a level two poster now and can avoid the level one post monster :) hope you can too.
