Hi, my name is Lilith, and I have a forum addiction. Specifically, the Paizo forums. I'm quite convinced that the Supreme Lord of Code and Master of the Subliminal have somehow worked in some code that makes me start to shudder and convulse when I don't have access to the Paizo forums for longer than ten minutes.

Yep, UTEP barely squeaked by San Diego State two weeks ago and then lost in OT to Texas Tech. I have season tickets. I thought Texas Tech would do better against lowly UTEP, being but a Conference USA team.
We kept taunting the Texas Tech bench by chanting "OVER RATED!!!" when they were down 28-24 late in the game. I mean, they were ranked 15th in the country and UTEP wasn't even in the top 30? Unfortunately, the Red Raiders won it 38-35, but it was kinda funny to watch them act like they'd won the freakin' Rose Bowl after they kicked the winning field goal. I yelled at one of the coaches "you guys need to play better than this to beat Oklahoma" and he shook his fist at me. I love football!!
Actually I'm a Red Raiders fan, unless they play UTEP. Plus some of their fans were kinda racist b*tt wipes, but I don't judge them all based on the actions of a drunken few, of course. I get a great joy out of taunting the opposing team, but never using any bad words or insulting language--it's a fine art form. We had the Tech players so mad at us they started to lose their cool, all because we were chanting that they were "OVER RATED!!" Hahahahahaha, Texas Tech was predicted to win 45-10 and barely squeaked out a 3 pointer. Moral victory? Not really, we still lost, but it was a fun game to watch anyway.
One thing I never do is boo the opposing team--that's disrespectful...but a little good-natured cat calling is always fun, especially when you don't use any foul language or signs.
Hey, you Paizo folks--UTEP's coach is from Everett, WA and coached Washington State for 15 years. Aren't you guys in Everett or close by or something? Your hometown boy is doing good down here in far west Texas, two consecutive 8-4 seasons with a team that was one of the worst in college football for many decades. Mike Price is also a very classy guy, he was very nice to my son when no one else was and autographed a football just for him when he didn't have to. Alabama shouldn't have judged him on just one incident.

Oh, my gaming group is a bit put off by the fact that football season always put a crimp into our gaming schedule. My wife and I have season tickets, my sister-in-law (also in our gaming group) used to play basketball for UTEP and goes to the games, plus our only other DM in the group (a fellow peace officer type) works security at the games to make extra cash. So, football means no D&D...at least not as often as we're used to during the summer.
