Hey Lilith:

We'll look into them and see what we can find out. I know they aren't currently being carried by any of our distributors, so we would have to make a large order from them in Poland and pay for the shipping. I have to run the math and see if it would still make sense to bring the dice in. If anybody else is interested in these dice, please speak up and let me know!

Wow.

If it turns out to be cost effective . . . wow.

Awfully neat, aren't they?

Looking forward to what you can do, Linda!

They've got my vote! There's good stuff coming out of Poland these days-The Forge's excellent cartography and now this...

Just my two Zlotys worth...

The Exchange

I'd be in for a few sets.

FH

I'd also get a few sets of 'em!

Sovereign Court

Whoa. Those are so trippy. I'd be down, I've held off buying an "actual" set of dice until I saw really unique ones. Looks like these fit the bill quite nicely.

I totally agree! Both the product and the website seem of good quality. I trust Paizo to make the final determination, but WOW! Those dice are really cool. Kudos to Lilith (again) for bringing them to the community's attention.

The Exchange

So, Ummmm... When can I place my order.

FH

I'm all for new dice and those are k00l, I'd certainly be in for a few sets if paizo were to carry them.

I don't know how feasible this is, but in the wake of the Dragon Compendium v.1 I would like to request some kind of compilation of all the Ecology articles I can get my hands on. I'd take it on CD or in a printed book. I just would love to have a handy reference to all of those. I've missed out on a bunch of them, but after seeing how awesome the Spellweaver article was I would desparately love to get my hands on them all!

I feel sheepish not talking about the dice (everyone else seems to be). So um...they're really cool too. ;)

Yes. Dice. They are sweet. I'd buy em.

And I want to second Grimcleaver's request for an Ecology compilation. Those articles are fantastic.

Hey y'all:

I just got back from the GAMA Trade Show in Las Vegas. I was hoping this Polish dice company would be there, but no luck. So next week, we will delve into the nether realms of trying to buy and ship these dice over to us in the US. Wish us luck! :)

-Lisa

I have taken a chance and ordered a set on my own, paying by debit Master Card through AllPay.pl, a secure payment server. They went to my bank and back again, cost was 61 Zlotys (About $20.00)for an 'Elvish Set' of dice, including S&H.

This is meant as a gift for one of my players who turns 40 next month-let's see how fast their turnaround time is!

For the Strzelewiczy, if they read this post,
,,Na galop, Panowie!"

What about Gift Certificates? I would love to be able to receive Paizo gift certificates for gifts , but I don’t see them available for sale.

I did see some traffic in the archives in 2005 regarding Gift Certificates (including the Web Master indicating they would be available in a couple of weeks) but I have not been able to locate them online. Am I obtuse or were they never added for some reason?

We *almost* completed them before Christmas, but when we missed that deadline, finishing it off took a backseat for a while. We should be rolling some code this week that brings it closer, but we have a wee bit more work to do.

I have been looking for a set of huge dice for a long time now; our local guy says his distributer can't get them; sigh, this site only has one and not a whole set. I just dont understand why it is so hard to find a full set of large dice that aren't plush and look cool.

Looks like the biggest sets we have are about 1.25".

I hope you're able to find a way to stock those dice! I'll buy a few sets for my gaming group!

Is there an update on the Dice situation. Fakey is gettin' anxious to hold them.

For my part (see above), FH, it's been ten days and there is a package waiting for me to pick up at the Post Office tomorrow... I'd say if this is them, ten days International Mail is not bad, for $2 shipping and handling.

Stay tuned...

The Exchange

I am tuned. I was hoping to give some green to Paizo though.

Hey Fakey:

We are talking with the Polish manufacturers and should have an order over here soon. Stay tuned! You can bet it will get a blog the day it comes in!

I did receive my order from Poland, directly. Of course, in future if I order from good ol'Paizo, they'll get here in 5 days instead of ten and I won't have to go to the P.O. to sign for them, right...? ;)

As for the dice, they are of good quality, slightly smaller than common sets I have from the USA. I got white on light blue as a gift for one of my players (His favorite colors are blue shades)and the stamping is clear and easy to read. The squiggly little 'elven' script looks more like Arabic, but my buddy will be turning 40 so I doubt he'll notice...(and I'm up next!)

All in all-looks like a safe bet for some stylish dice-
Q Workshop is on a roll...

Yes, but are you in a short skirt w/ your knees together & feet *waaaaaaaaaaaay* apart and your arms together from the elbows on out to hands wrapped into a single fist, held in front of a "D"-shaped mouth?

Can I assume that the hair serves as the tentacles from the half-illithid template? Or perhaps her illithid-ness manifests in the form of formidable intellect, amazing powers, and a hefty Charisma bonus?

Her necktie is a necktie of disguise, allowing her to move freely amongst the masses, who would otherwise be disturbed by her tentacles. :-D

Of course! You can never tell what walks among us. No doubt she has other items of great power on her person, hidden in seemingly innocuous items of everyday utility. Watch out for the barrette of Lordly might!

Is not deception and intrigue good practices for both illithid and succubi? And even moreso for a half-breed? ;-)

The Poles have been oddly quiet this week, but I'm workin' it, my man, workin' it as hard as I can! I love those things too, can't wait to get the whole line in here and see hwo they do. Soon, soon, I swear! It's in their hands right now...

As for the rest of you, keep the good ideas coming! We love to hear about neat cool stuff to sell on the site, so if you see something, drop us an email and let us know. We'll do our level best to get it up there for you to throw your quatloos at!

We love quatloos...

According to Wikipedia:

Wikipedia wrote:
The term "quatloos" appears in Star Trek: in one episode it was the name of currency used for betting.

So... fake money?

I was always a fan of more straightforward adaptation. For example, anyone with access to the Stronghold Builder's Guide should be familiar with the Brassiere of Detecting Magic. (I think I might even have given one of those to an NPC once...) Within a school setting, a Scrawl of Hold Portal might not be a bad idea either... and I'd love to have an Armoire of Fire Resistance. (or Invulnerability, I suppose)

Though... the Barrette of Lordly Might has a certain appeal to it. Especially when you use the Ladder Function to force open a door. ;)

I have an idea for a cool set of dice...

How about inserting Mexican Jumping Beans in a set of dice. Now imagine the players waiting for a couple of hours around a table looking to see the result of an important d20 roll.

Where do I get these ideas?
