With the autocannon missing at such short range, the enemy Trooper manages to close the distance with Cormeg and Carlo. Cormeg turns to Carlo giving a quick nod and draws his axe. Cormeg sidesteps the initial swing of the Trooper's blade. Dodge+10=38: 1d100 ⇒ 17 Slipping beneath the stroke, slipping into a frenzy he orders Carlo into a well practiced close quarter drill. With an up stroke of his own axe he attacks the Trooper. WS 37+10(Close Quarters: Ganging Up)+10(double team)+10(Frenzy)=57: 1d100 ⇒ 39 Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Pen 0

I've waited long enough for Calculus to post. Alright Marines roll initiative. Brothers Solar, Cadmus, Raziel, and Calculus count as being surprised for the first round... Unless you have rapid reaction which I don't believe any of you have. Brother Calculus: 1d100 ⇒ 71 Out of the darkness and many shadows a terrible screech echoes throughout the shack. The terrible sound bounces off each and every piece of metal. Terrible glinting eyes and slavering maws hunger for your flesh and thirst for your blood. The dark wave condenses in the low light before attacking Nids: 1d10 ⇒ 10

He crouches back down, and begins running his hands through his hair. The Adept rocks back and forth muttering to himself once more Sacred knowledge...Forbidden to share...He is a chosen Angel...but not of the Omnissiah...Leaving the small charm dangling in Raziel's hand, he closes his eyes once more. The mans ramblings continue on getting softer and softer. An errie wind blows across the platfrom and a loud squeal of stressed metal echoes throughout. He looks up at the Marines, stands, and leaves the building in a dire hurry

Crunchy on the outside gooey on the inside... Sorry nice job. Ash and smoke begin to choke the air throughout the corridor. The blazing heat and intense light from the smoldering remains illuminate the platform shedding light upon the carnage that had occurred a few hours prior. Assault Marines roll Awareness +10, all Marines outside roll Awareness +0

Raziel becomes a crimson tempest of death. His blade flashes back and form toward the oncoming horde of ravenous mouths. Each pass of his blade ending existences of the beasts. Chitin chunks cover the ceiling and visceral spray covers his armor. The mindless mouths and talons swing back in frenzied attack desparate for the Marines flesh. Hormagaunt Horde, Swift Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 71 The great haste of the beasts rush their attack swinging wildly missing the Battle Brother completely Lanius as you enter the platform, you hear the distinct scream of a chai sword and the death wails of the Hormagaunt horde. [ooc]If you plan in joining the fight, please roll initiative. [/i]

Raziel, I personally have a hard time imagining an assault marine easing the door open... So with that in mind Hormagaunt Horde Initiative: 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Raziel breaches the door flooding the room with ambient glow. The light casts a ray stopping in the center of the room atop a moving mass. Heads turn, followed closely by snarls and screeches. The beasts prepare to attack the intruder interrupting their meal. There is a small horde, Raziel you're up first. Swing away!
Saunters in with a hand full of mugs. Slides one across to Bright, "may I join you?" Alright boss I'd love to get in on this game. I'm a huge fan of dwarves and Orc so I will push for those. As for how they all met well, I've been playing a ton of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans; and Warcraft II Tides of Darkness. So a war party? Refugees? Or captured slaves seem to be on tap. I am up to try anything though.

The Commissar turns and barks the orders to his men, with each squad's sergeant taking charge the men move out on the double. At first static fills the net, occasionally breaking in an attempt to let a transmission through. Suddenly a booming voice dominates the Comms. This is Brother-Commander Pellas of the Thunder's Word, I read you Vindicta. You need to increase the speed of your search. As if on cue, battle alarms and servitors' voice fill the comms link from combat status reports. Vindicta, you need to move now! Spores will breaking the atmosphere! Do what you can for the faithful, but they are the least of your concerns. Finish the mission! Brother Pellas immediately cuts the transmission. Alright, N'keln , high roll good or high roll bad? Also Calculus give me a Tech Use (-10).
