With the autocannon missing at such short range, the enemy Trooper manages to close the distance with Cormeg and Carlo. Cormeg turns to Carlo giving a quick nod and draws his axe. Cormeg sidesteps the initial swing of the Trooper's blade.

Slipping beneath the stroke, slipping into a frenzy he orders Carlo into a well practiced close quarter drill. With an up stroke of his own axe he attacks the Trooper.

I've waited long enough for Calculus to post. Alright Marines roll initiative. Brothers Solar, Cadmus, Raziel, and Calculus count as being surprised for the first round... Unless you have rapid reaction which I don't believe any of you have.

The mindless mouths and talons swing back in frenzied attack desparate for the Marines flesh.

Raziel, I personally have a hard time imagining an assault marine easing the door open... So with that in mind

Raziel breaches the door flooding the room with ambient glow. The light casts a ray stopping in the center of the room atop a moving mass. Heads turn, followed closely by snarls and screeches. The beasts prepare to attack the intruder interrupting their meal.

Alright boss I'd love to get in on this game. I'm a huge fan of dwarves and Orc so I will push for those. As for how they all met well, I've been playing a ton of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans; and Warcraft II Tides of Darkness. So a war party? Refugees? Or captured slaves seem to be on tap.

The way it is operating, is there appears to be some interference. It is reading a varying numbers from pairs to small packs. There are 3 life signs human size or larger.


Backstory is nice, but not required.

Hey players and GMs, I'm trying to get into either a home brew or someone willing to pick up a new player to PF or PFS. I've played Fantasy Flights 40k games for awhile now and trying to get into the D20 scene.


@phil: I agree that is when it is added, however base stat rolled was 49. There is a +5 STR for being a Storm Warden. That brings it to 54. Unnatural Strength is added doubling to 10, then +2 for power armor. Unless my math is wrong... Which very might be.
