It looks as if for a medium creature the most damage I can get is 2d6 Plus my modifiers ( large steel shield with spikes and bashing quality). Any otherways to raise that?

I'm play twf sheild smash paladin. If I get a lionhead shield can I make my full attack including off hand and still comand it to bite? Also would it's damage be affected by my smite?

I'm play a twf paladin in a wotr game. It has come to my attention that we will soon be becoming mythic. I leaning towards the dual path feat, and going champion/guardian any suggestions for path abilites and mythic feats? I'm looking mainly to have tons of staying power in combat and maybe slightly bolster my healing abilities.

I get a chance to run a one and done Nov in a friend of mines rotrl campaign. Its the opening session since this character wouldn't be there beyond first session or 2 he gave permission to run wild with it, so what's the strangest class and race combos you can think of?

I haven't played PF in almost 3 years now. My GM decided he wanted to switch back which is fine ) I loved PF before. We are playing wrath of the righteous I have decided to play a paladin. Alot has changed since I last played this will be my 1st mythic campaign. For my character I have a few things locked in. Demon spawn tiefling,1st feat fey fondling, 1st trait suicidal. I need another solid trait, and any ideas of things I should look into that might help from the last couple years. I can't decide on a fighting style either thf, twf, s&b. I have consider taking 1st level as fighter to help with feat economy.

I have never played a ranger in 537th edition yet. I honestly haven't play much 5th edition.we are getting ready to start curse of sthrad we rolled stats I got 15,15,15,13,13,and 12. I want to play a ranger. Just looking for some basic tips for the build.

So Im playing an IR barbarian in row now. Last session we meet Ratibor he seems to be an older version of my character the two really hit it off and became fast friends, but before we exited the hit he explained of se returned he was forced to attack us. I like the hit dont want to kill him os this avoidable somehow?

Im currently playing in this campaign and Im at level 6, just curious without mayor spoiler if someone could suggest weapon enhancments, and magic items to invest i .

Basicly I'm playaing a barbarian, and I have decided to forget ac and aim for high dr, and static miss chances. Looking for ideas to help me do this. I have thought of thing like fortifcation to armour to avoid pesky sneak attacks and crits, and mirror image, blur effects to armour or items for flat miss chances. Any other suggestions?

If i become immune to fatigue can i uses bolstered résilience on every attack

Bolstered Resilience
You can dramatically increase your damage reduction in exchange for its temporary loss.

Prerequisite: Damage reduction.
Benefit: As an immediate action, you can double your DR against a single attack, to a maximum of DR 20. The type of the DR remains unchanged. If the attack you are guarding against is not successful, the increased damage reduction persists until you are hit with an attack or until the start of your next turn, whichever happens first. At the start of your next turn, you become fatigued. You cannot use this feat while you are fatigued.

Is there a list of summon nature ally other then whats in the core rule book?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I just read thru the ranged toolbox and saw the juggler archtype. Was wondering if there was a way to use bombs effective with this. Think of the jester from gauntlet video game.

I'm playing a class with a animal companion for the first time. My cat companion just died, and I have chosen to bring in a mastadon it will be level 4. Any suggestions for feats, tricks and equipment would be awesome.

I'm currently playing a 4th level druid in a RoW campaign with a wooly mastadon as a companion, By 10th level I could qualify for this prestige class, but was wonder is there alot of areas the will accomadate a huge companion. On the flip side would it be so restictive that its a defininte no?

I'm playing a druid for the first time ever and we final earn some money. Where can I find a list of stats and prices for animal barding.

Also if anyone has any suggestions as to other things I should look into for my pet.

I game in a group of seven guys two of us rotate as GM, and as the primeary GMs we usually confer on any house rules and third party material as to keep the group flow from adventure to adventure.

Recently started a new ap and the othe GM and I are both players because someone else decided to try thier hand at running the show. A lot of guys showed up with dex builds and as you would suspect our damage output at low levels was pretty bad, but they kept saying wait til lvl 3. When level 3 hit they all took deadly agility and current GM allowed it. That got me reserching the feat.

Deadly Agility (Combat)

You have learned how to use your agility to greater purpose in battle.

Prerequisite(s): Weapon Finesse, base attack bonus +1.

Benefit(s): You may add your Dexterity modifier in place of your Strength modifier when wielding a light weapon or a weapon that gains the benefits of the Weapon Finesse feat (such as the rapier) when determining additional damage inflicted upon a successful attack.

This modifier to damage is not increased for two-handed weapons, but is not reduced for off-hand weapons.

I was curious how other feel about it. I am currently in the boat that having so many skils and abilites based off one stat is slightly over power. One of them is a twf and this one feat not only changes his prime damage stat but applys it to his off hand as well? Please send me some advice as I will be running things agian one day should I allow this feat.

I have never played a druid before and want to try something new. We are going to be in Reign of winter Ap. I have rolled stats I end up with 17 17 17 15 13 12 I'm leaning towards a gnome. Looking for futher suggestions builds or things that have just worked well for other druid players.

We decided on the fly to start these AP tommorow night. I am limited on time between now and then so I dont have alot of prep period. Just looking for a few quick suggestion as to something to play that fit the campaign and be useful.

I know there are better bluffers out there then the rouge, bluf the game settings demands we all start as 1st level broke (4gp)human rouges.

As the title implies I'm going to attempt to make mine a bluff machine as this appears to be an urban style game it might be handly. We rolled stats, and after the bonus +2 for being human I'll have a 20 cha. So with that a skill point an the +3 for trained then taking the fast talker trait (+1) and skill focus feat (+3) that's a grand total of +12 at 1st level. Any ideas how to push it higher? Also doing charlatan so if they fail once they get -2 for 24 hours vs additional bluffs.

I'm running a campaign in which my players are about to enter a massive tomb fill with undead. The ACL of the group is 12-13 what are some good undead to throw at them in masses that wont be a simple wipe for them, but so tough that the mook mosters will destory them. Also if any you has a favorite undead cr 10-13 let me know as I'll need to sprinkle some tougher battles in to.

So in the the current campaign im running( a home brew) one of the paladins has become quite enthralled by a feamle antipaladin npc. I'm looking for clever ways to twist and bend those feelings into something to help drive him crazy. As it bstands right now the kinda have a secert relationship ie: they only meet in private or in guise.

The real kicker is thatshe works for the bbeg in the game. I have consider having the bbeg comand her to kill said paladin leanding to a one on one battle, but I feel there is so much possible with these two. So any ideas would be apprecatied.

I have never been the kind of Gm that says we need a balanced party whatever you feel like playing as long as we have the source books to support it is fine. Now that has caused an issue, the latest campagin I began to run I have 7 pcs no biggie adjust encounters with things like max hp for notable npcs and add more mooks and sometimes tougher mooks.

The problem was that after everyone one prepared their characters the shake down ended up as follows.

1 human vanilla paladin twf sword and board
2 human paladin hospitaler
3 monkey person ranger sorry cant recall name of that right now
4 human gunslinger/inquistor
5 human brawler
6 human illuluiosnist
7 teifling gunslinger

The problem is the about of damage they throw down is just crazy.
they quickly wipe crs of them +6-8 with little problem. Any suggestions on how to keep things chalenging for them? I'm not try to utterly destory them as they are level 8 I dont plan to throw a cr20 their way, but In dont want them to be bored with such easy combat.

I tried to ask this before and the page got sidetracked.
I want to make someone who is really good and bluffing, and was wondering what's the highest we can get at frist level class and race don't matter.

I want a level one character with the highest possible bluff. I don't care about race and class where should I start?

Simple question does a prestige class that adds to your arcane caster level grant you the ability to caster higher level spells: ie a 7 level wizard has fourth level access would a 5wiz 3 arcane archer have 7 level access as his arcane class level is affectively 7 wiz?

I'm building my first gunslinger I was wondering are there any good guides out there worth looking at?

I'm running my group which consists of 6 players: 2 paladins( one healing focused the other sword and board), a gunslinger, a ranged ranger, and two casters all lvl7 thru this module. We are closing in on the final session and two of the up coming fights seem like the will be such a cake walk that I'm not sure what to do with them. First the dark Naga, would 2 dark nagas be too hard? second the final encounter I have decided to change her form eldritch knight to either straight magus or caster but what lvl would prove to be a challenge with out being a one sided murder?

Would anyone like to see wizkids make one? The only out there is the old red dragon, and it is kind of difficult to get a hold of (at a semi reasonable price). I would love to see another one come into production, but instead of another dragon give us an iconic like Cthulhu or The Tarrasque. They could price point at 20-40 more then their gargantuan models. It would sell I'm sure. If anyone feels the same please comment with thoughts and which figure you'd like to see maybe we can open some eyes.

Title says it all any tips.

I just received my copy of RPT, and browsing through it the tournament battles don't seem like they would be difficult at all for a party of 4-5 level 10-11 guys. Haas anyone that has run this seen that problem?

I didn't feel there were enough paladin threads soooooo.

Ok lets address the code system and vulnerability to falling, and what we can do to fix these problems.

So we are playing age of worms ( spoilers ahead), and we have reach the part after the marsh where the dopplegangers come into play. My gm informed that I had been captured and was now a doppleganger. There was no dice rolling or anything, but I'm all for a good story so I was ok that sounds kewl. He told me to go ahead and keep tracking exp and everything as I normally would as not to penalize my character. Well a little bit further in the path me as a doppleganger got killed in combat, so I rolled a new character to tag along assuming they would find my original character still, and when we reroll the start a half level behind lowest party member so that made my new gut about 3/4 behind where my original was and short about 5,000 gp in equipment. At this point I still didn't mind as I thought we would recover my normal character so finally, outside of the game I asked him about it. He said after the doppleganger died they change there tactics I wasn't needed so they killed me. No dice were ever rolled and no rp done for her he just kinda said they caught you and now they kill you. I just wanted to vent a bit and see what other people thought of this cause I kinda feel like I got punished somehow for trying to help him make a better story.

I'm currently playing a fourth level barbar who's focus is one big weapon sunder and the superstious rage power line. So far built as such

feats 1st level. power attack, and raging vitality
3rd level improved sunder
rage powers 2nd level supersitous
4th witch hunter
I think cleave might be my next feat after that I'm kinda drawing a blank on where to go. I'm not going come and get so don't need those feats any suggestions.

Also trying to decide what is the best use of my weapon enchantments.
I'm heading to +1 furious then I'm once again unsure, but I am sure that II don't want courageous as everyone seems to suggest just don't see the use in it. Any advice would be nice thank you.

I have a small problem with my dm. He has gotten real comfortable with the stance that he is the dm and there is always right and word is absolute. He has made at least a few questionable calls and the just rubber stamps it with I'm the dm conversation over. I will provide a few examples.

Banned barbarians cause they aren't fun for him to kill.

Didn't alot us exp for an encounter we stratgicly avoided ie: bribed our way through instead of fighting.

Decided for his convince to add spell like abilities to a enemy who didn't have them ie: drow can levitate at will.

Picking on a character ie: If he doesn't like someones character goes out of his way to kill it, like making it the first and primary center of all attacks.

This guy is a friend my group has been together for almost 8 years we play 2-36 times a month for about 8-10 hours a session, so we have logged some game time. We don't want to run him out of the group cause we like him a lot and these problems haven't arisen til lately about 3-4 months ago. Basicly just seeing if anyone has had the same type of issue and how they addressed and handled it.

As the title implies I have never played a rouge before, but am considering it strongly if the barbarian I'm currently playing dies.

I have read a lot about rouges being very underpowered in pathfinder, and was curious as to the boards take on that. Also I need a little help in fleshing out my concept. I am aiming to have a kinda con artist type guy that is also able to be the trap monkey since they get lots of skills I figured that would be possible. I def want very high slieght of hand, bluff, perception, and what ever skill one would use to make false documents. I also plan at least one level dip at low levels to gain access to detect magic cantrip and spellcraft skill. So suggestions on talents to take items archtypes triats etc would be nice, and which class to dip to get spellcraft and detect magic.

As the title says just curious I it's a possibility or what people think would happen?

I would like to build a cleric that is really good at turning undead, but I was wondering if there is any way to make it useful at higher levels as the bbeg will always have more hd then you so you cant destroy him.

We are about to start aow this weekend. I told my GM that I built a twf barbarian, He laughed and asked if I had meta gamed and use kukris. While I do use kukris its not because of meta gaming ie: high crit range light weapons and using two of the same weapons means feats like focus apply to both. I don't want spoilers but are kukris such a big part of this campaign that one would meta game and use them?

I recall reading somewhere about a racial trit or acrhtype thats gives a huge boost to saves for a dwarf does any one recall what it is?

We are about to start aow our ggroup looks like this:
2-Lvl 1 bararbians 1 thf 1twf
lvl 1 hedge mage which
lvl 1 bomber alchemist
lvl sumoner
Basicly our Gm has asked us to go ahead and build secondary characters
as he has little faith that our frist has the right stuff to really make a go at it, but is willing to let us try.

I was wondering if someone who has played the ap has any suggestions as back up chracter. I'm pretty open to ideas just want something that will mesh well with the story and feel of the ap. Please try to keep spoilers to a min. Thank you.

About to start a new age of worms campaign. I want to play an illusionist was looking for ideas as far as class and race, as none seem to really be stand out as far as this goes.

We are finishing up rortl anny edition. Next to tackle age of worms it seems the party healer is going to be a healing witch. I havent had time to reserch it much, but it kinda sounds to be a subpar healer, and I was just wondering what others had experianced with it?
