I do try and pick new weapons all the time, its harder if the character is ranged.
Well as a fellow lover of lore. I used the fact that Shelyn value´s effort over talent, and Olaf´s effort would be taking penalty´s to attack for non lethal or using combat expertise and such. Fighting with style ( my horse who I´m certain should have gone to an Anti-paladin but ended up with Olaf in some cosmic mix up makes up for the damage ..(seriously he just kills everything, usually with a crit to -con )
I to hope for a bladed brush wielding Muse , but as it stands it needs some reworking to balance all the different parts.
Give it a try in a home game. Ive had a bravo in one of my games and me and the player agreed he was a tad too high damage. He has weaknesses sure , but his damage output made things really dead really fast.
Going to be running this tomorrow. This thread has given me many good idea´s, as I have been wondering how to hint at stealth being an option where it looks like it wont work. And making Grave Treader come across better, stating she´s honorable then wanting to stab the leader in the back before he does it to her ( with no actual evidence of this ).
One thing comes to mind for the final choice, perhaps a better solution would have been 3 endings. She rejoins the Pathfinders. She stays, or she stays and the Sundered stone start working with Rayshal/the Pathfinders.
Plus he´s also one of the best new npc´s. I hope to see more briefings from him.
Congrats to the new 5 stars !
Yeah, he was a great guy. met him quite a few times playing online.
He will be missed.
Starting to read this now, I´d love to see some themed dungeons from you Rigby. Something Halloween/Horror themed for the weekend perhaps ?

Almost made it to 300 games before the fifth. Thanks :).
And congrats to everyone else.
I´ll admit to being a member of the anti robot and anti haunt crowd ( purely for rules reasons, or lack of understanding of said rules perhaps ) . Haunt´s are traps with story.. they just rarely get run as such, but they are a great tool for storytelling.
But reading this thread alleviates a lot of my concerns. I actually look forward to running this soon, it looks like a lot of fun.
Thanks for doing this. It will prove invaluable I´m sure when I prep this in a few weeks.
Pathfinder society Field Guide. page 22: The Cost of Beneficence (Fame 10, 1 PP)
It sadly only applies to items used on npc´s, not that it hasnt come in handy on my Silver crusaders to not go bankrupt .
Congrats to everyone. Well done.

I´d also like to take the opportunity to recommend giving pbp a shot. It really is a fun experience, and this special was a lot of fun. Thanks Jessie and everyone else involved.
I´m sure there are others like me that are the "local gm" and finding time for games is hard, and pbp also offers even more time for roleplaying. What´s not to like ?
I´d love to, but Ive played this one in core before. No worries, I´ll try and see if there´s still some room somewhere so I can get a taste of pbp. Thanks and have a great game.
Im still interested if its normal mode, I cant play in Core. Sorry. Ive got some interesting characters depending on what tier we´re playing.. As soon as I figure out how to set that up.
Well , as has been suggested Inquisitor might be more able to capture that feel.
Then again, what are you after ?
an Inquisitor will get you what you´ll probably find missing from the cleric´s ability´s. Skill points, acrobatics, social skills and perception along with some others go hand in hand with the classic image, and sadly the clerics 2+ int will find that hard.
For firsthand experience, I have a swashbuckler 1 inspired blade/wandering exorcist cleric 2 ( so yeah it takes some work ) both classes offer 4+ int skills now and Im a swashbuckling exorcist .. which is what I wanted, a traveling hero that battles evil to help the common man, especially when haunts are involved.. but with flair( A paladin of Cayden, basically ). It might not be what you´re looking for.
And hey dont worry, even if you kill her you just take a -20 penalty to diplomacy/bluff checks with her so just be real nice to the corpse.
And having plot holes this big is great, becasue that way you can fit the railroad through them.
Aweomse, couldent have gotten a better man for the Job. You deserve it Lucas, and thanks for everything youve done so far :).
Thank you for everything you have done. You will be missed. Good luck with everything

Venture-Captain Dennel Hamshanks sends you to convince an Andoren druid named Hemzel to allow the Pathfinder Society to study his recently discovered lorestone, a minor magical item that unlocks some of the mysteries of the ancient Andoren druid circles. When you arrive and find Hemzel murdered and the lorestone missing, you must race against time to recover the lorestone and stop Hemzel's murderers from using it against the druids of Andoran.

I never met the man but after reading these posts I wish i had. Sad news indeed, the world needs more people like him.
My condolences to everyone who knew Rick.
Congrats , well deserved !

In the ruins of a fallen empire built on the power of sin lies the key to awakening a great evil from a time long gone. The Pathfinder Society isn't the only organization seeking this potent artifact, however, and the result of failure could mean disaster for the whole of Varisia and beyond.

Thanks to everyone. I had a great game on both sides of the screen, starting to get that sleep pattern back on track ( as in getting sleep at all :) ).
Hope to meet the people I played with again soon as I plan to become more active online.
Congrats Christopher and welcome.
How close are you to Shane´s territory ? I´ll have to bring more "treats" the next time I visit :)
Barely a scratch on her after heals when I played it, running that one soon. Great fun that Scenario
Thank you very much, and thanks to everyone who has helped me out. I could list them out but it´ll be a wall of gibberish to non Icelandic speakers :). ( aside from Lucas, Chris, Shane, Steve, Jessie, Andrew.. I could go on and on but its 5 am in Iceland sorry)
If anyone´s headed to our fair island and wants to play some Pathfinder let me know, we´ll make sure to get you some playtime. And for those who eish to follow our exploits we operate out of Facebook, as about 97% of the population is on there https://www.facebook.com/groups/pfsisland/ .
I´ll also be hosting a some online game days so if you never get the chance to visit you can still play with us, watch for threads in the coming months.
Thanks again,

Congrats and welcome to the team. :)
Yeah, Hákon is a little off. I played him at lv 7 to get the feel for the class And I´d reccomend going over his spells, he has to few of them per day. Also there were some questions about his powers not quite working as written.
That and his bearded axes ( skeggöx ) are too long but that´s just me being picky :) other that that the artist deserves praise. One of the more realistic and cool looking pregens Ive seen ( slight bias ).
Max the telekinetic here.
Just backing up everything that has been said. The flavor of the class is great but even though I set up a build that tried to go for extremes I didnt contribute much apart from healing. lack of skills and cool toys from the get go means I´m going to try this class at a higher level before making any judgements. But lv 1, with so few class skills and 2 "spells" with no scroll or wand access it felt a bit lacking.
It comes down to a feeling of saying cool every time someone else showed off a class ability whilst me an Slick said yeah.. we can blast stuff..
Perhaps Slick can add to how the accursed halls went, where i´m afriad I have no playtest feedback as I decided an all ranged party might face trouble and brought a different character . I will say I found that more fun, as my barbarian had twice the skills and brought far more to the party .
Congrats guys and Congrats to Indiana :) .
Congrats Lucas . Well deserved :)
Never died in Iceland ! also. I love the freedom given to players here, keep up the good work. ( just started reading im sure ill have better comments later ).
Ill second 5-19 The horn of Aroden, and after having run and played it now within a few days Its better then the reviews its getting, for newer players. Its a tad too quick for others.
5-11 Library of the lion is also great and quick, as long as you have the right party.
