When will the download version only be available?

Yes!Finally! Would've preferred carrion crown but this is equally awesome!

Big Finish is in preproduction on another story, but they have not yet announced details.

Does this mean the chosen story is already set? I was hoping that paizo would kinda like get inputs from their fans just like playtests in rulebooks. In any case, if only APs would be the basis of the next legends series, I would really, really love the carrion crown to be in the pipeline. My take's that horror/creepy stories have always been the perfect genre for audio dramas; that's the reason that my personal favorite in the audio ROTRL was the second one.

LOL! Can't wait for the next bilbo goblins story :) The lure of the one stapler I think would be too much for him. Be prepared, paizo. Be prepared.

Well that! That's one heck of an iconic pose! Looking forward this being illustrated by Mr. Reynolds in a future iconic character or even for an existing iconic character. The table is now open for iconic character suggestions . . . off the bat I could see Valeros with his mug (instead of the gauntlet) with Merisiel doing Erik's colleague's pose :D

Splnterwaif's my favorite creature. It's a typically profound creature in my opinion in terms of its being evil in our eyes on how it treats children but when you truly look at it,it's just how most people treat chickens, cows, etc; we even have popular cooking shows (i'm not a vegetarian btw). It's a great moral dilemma setup at low levels for players as preparation for more complex dilemma at higher levels. But I digress; i thought this creation was from some popular myth but I just learned that this was your creation! So I am just curious, seriously, how did you come up with this?

Dragon78 wrote:
I am sure the Splinterwaif is copyrighted, though you might get something like it one day.

Splinterwaif = not from mythology and not from a non-copyright product, so the chances of seeing it are not there.

Whoa! Thought all along that this was some middle age european myth, great imagination for the one who created it! Well too bad it's copyrighted but that's what's great with pathfinder,it's backward compatible so the old splinterwaif stat's still usable for me. Will look up this batibat myth, have heard of it but am not too familiar with it, the tiyanak sounds interesting too for pathfinder.

Great work Evil Queen! Paizo might just hire you eventually for this hehehe :)

I think it hasn't been mentioned yet (using search within this thread) so would like to just post my wishlist for bestiary 5 : Splinterwaif. I've been wishing for the pathfinder version of this evil faye. My redcap wish was granted already. This is is just the one I've been waiting for.

Loved the way this was written though of course the end was heartbreaking which I personally would have liked otherwise but then again I think the point is the ultimate love of Caron which was excellently realized here.

I pity the urdefhans for I believe that Caron's death would be the day when their extinction starts. I love the choice of seven children for Caron's life, it'd make a great starting party who will start a crusade against the urdefhans. With the new Advance class guide, a group of slayers would make short work of those despicable creatures! Man I really felt bad for caron so I do hope those children at least live their lives fully but then again Caron's sacrifice is unconditional so I think the children shouldn't feel obligated. Ok it's pretty obvious I'm all worked up with the ending but I think that's a testament how Mr. Savile did a superb job here.

Love the art of this one! First time I find an iconic female with a beautiful face; I don't know why but Adowyn's face reminds me of those beautiful faces that Larry Elmore did. I think it must be the way the eyes were drawn here.

Though the background uses usual tragic family death, I still love it here. I like the idea of hope here (both for Adowyn & her family).

My top 3 for me now are Zadim,Quinn & Adowyn.

Wow! Thought won't be seeing anymore iconic background that would surpass my current favorite,Quinn! But this one easily did!

The name is perfect, the illustration is perfect, and the background jut makes me giddy with excitement. It's the perfect golarion mitch rapp/jason bourne I've always tried to imagine. Zadim was excellently realized here!

I also like the why of the cliffhanger. It does indeed help players own the character. That's really thoughtful of you, Mr. Erik.

My gold Maer's court ring is yours, Mr. Erik for this excellent writing :)

Hahaha! That really made me laugh!

fishing poles? for her kinda quiet moment hobby?

but i like Tels' guess better :)

Brawny farm boy:"I ent no sissy! I ent fightin' no girl!"

Rookie brawler:"Well, kess my ass, farm boy!"

And the rest is history.

Quinn,Kess, and Hakon. My faves so far :)

3 people marked this as a favorite.

Couldn't yet wrap me head around what a skald is really all about but that uber smashing Hakon illustration speaks profound volumes that seem to fire my imagination! That horn! Those axes! And that mean-looking viking look! This Hakon skald is one mean Drizzt sort of guy! Love it!

Mr. Reynolds, sir. You've delivered another excellent art here! If I were a kender,I'd be giving you my topknot right now.

So far Quinn and this skald's my favorite :)

What I doubly like about this is I still have 9 months to save up for it :)

Oh the agony! Too bad there's no pdf included in the comic subscription; the way shipping happens in my country,I'll be getting my copies in late August!

To give you an idea,I just got my mummy AP#2 last week :( Good thing the subs for AP include pdfs.

Now that I'm really diggin' the legends series yes!Appreciate having a visual blog like this one. My suggestion is to include visuals geared more for non-gamers such as the aforementioned bugbears,in the case of skinsaw (#2 audio now available),visuals for the manticore & ghouls & revenant (better if they include the characters such as a battle scene).

A behind the scene interviews how the audio was made would be great just like what you do with the other paizo products. It would be a bonus if you are able to do interviews from the voice actors & actresses sorta like those bonus materials you get from dvd movies.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I bought the 1st digital episode of this series due to the discounted price as I find the regular price too steep and resigned myself to being content with just having the first one. Though it truly leaves me wanting more as I have not played nor read the original AP so I have no idea of the plot details.

I was overjoyed then when the 2nd episode offered another discounted price. The 2nd one has a much better story than the first one. I could not pinpoint at first why I felt the first episode seems wanting. The voice acting and production quality are truly excellent after all. I have to hand it that paizo seems to have truly picked out a high calibre production outfit. I don't know who the big name actors & actresses in the voice drama field but I bet the ones in this series are those ones or at the very least at par with them.

In any case even with these excellent voice acting, I seem to sense that the first episode was not "up there yet" so to speak; like as if these voice actors and actresses were underused.

And lo!In the skinsaw murders,i think finally this episode has hit the perfect spot! I believe this should always be the benchmark going forward for this series. The characterizations are way better, valeros, merisiel, ezren, harsk, even lisa the ghoul, and of course the "your lordship triumvirate".Bear in mind that I have no idea about this AP and the reveal at the end was one of the most satisfying scenes I've ever enjoyed! This is the perfect example of one great actor playing one great character.

I do hope that the next ones in the series would have the same good story as I've said the voice players are of high caliber already. They deserve to act out the same high calibre of a story.

Thanks again Paizo for always looking out for excellent quality in the product lines you branch out to. You truly are here for the long haul, methinks.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

This is the best iconic character for me so far. I can't help it but for me Quinn is way cooler than Jeggare & Radovan.

He's a cool sherlock & a gambit-like batman combined. And that art nails the character down perfectly: "a quick wit, a righteous heart, and a stylish coat".

The author who would be writing his novel would really have a tremendous amount of pressure living up to the art & the background.

I was not looking forward on buying this upcoming rulebook at all but Quinn has sold me to it. Darn you paizo for ruining my budget again!

Agh!At this rate,I'll never be able to stop subscribing to AP! You keep ruining my budget, Paizo!

Ok. Thanks for the consideration, Aron. Enjoy ur gaming.

Hi Aron Marczylo,

Here’s my application for your Carrion Crown PbP. I am at GMT +8 and can commit to the once a day post though only from Mon-Fri and rarely or not on weekends. If that’s ok with you then you could consider my submission below. The hook at the end does not have to be necessarily tied to the Carrion Crown path. It’s just there for further character background of Erevir.

Erevir Veroshi, Elven Fighter:
CG, Male Elf, 100 years old. Black hair. Light brown eyes. 6ft, 160 lbs.
Erevir Veroshi comes from Kyonin, the kingdom of the elves. His father who was an elven trader usually took the young elf on his trading activities along the borders of Kyonin and Druma. One of these trading places was near a monk monastery. Erevir impressed with the monks swordplay, begged his father to let him stay on the monastery for long periods of time to learn the art of the blade. His father agreed.

And so begun Erevir’s training and so, too his special friendship with the monastery’s inhabitants. He stayed for months in the monastery. The talented elf showed much promise and was even one of the best students of the monks in the skill of the blade and was eventually offered as one of the few promising talents to join the adventuring company the monks send out of the monastery to gain further training in the outside world.

However, when old remnant creatures from the demon Treerazer threatened Erevir’s home town in Kyonin, the elf was forced to return home and help protect his family. He spent the first few months patrolling and hunting the surrounding areas of his home town with other elves but encountered no major battles. When he heard that the creatures had expanded their destructive path up to the borders of Druma spilling over to where the monk monastery stood, Erevir implored his kinsmen to allow him to help the monastery. As expected, the elves refused as they demanded that Erevir should have his loyalty first with his race. But believing he was more useful helping the monk monastery, Erevir defied his obligation to his kinsmen and stayed with the monks. True enough, the elf found himself useful in the monastery as the evil spawns of Treerazer ravaged the countryside around the monastery. He valiantly served as scout and protector of the monastery and its surrounding areas. Eventually the threat was eradicated.

Afterwards Erevir left the monastery as a hero and went home excitedly to tell his family about his adventures. But it was not to be a blissful reunion. The elf discovered that his family perished during the rampage of Treerazer’s evil spawns; one of the few casualties that his home town suffered from that episode.

Burdened with the guilt that he should have been with his family, Erevir left home to seek penance for his reckless decision. The orphaned elf sought the wisdom of the monks but although they surmised that Erevir committed no fault, the young elf was not consoled and fell into profound melancholy. The monks decided that if Erevir could not forgive himself then maybe the elf might find atonement if he undertook a sojourn into the outside world. The idea was acceptable to Erevir and pulled him out of his depression.

With renewed fervor, Erevir began his adventuring days. The life on the road suited him well and has helped the elf cope with his guilt. He turned towards the northwest of Kyonin across Lake Encarthan and never looked back until he reached Ustalav where the dark countenance of its countryside reminded the young elf of Treerazer’s evil and suited Erevir’s passion to fight all evils. It was in one of his forays in Ustalav’s countryside with an adventuring band that he crossed path with Professor Petros Lorrimor. Scouting ahead of his band, Erevir found the Professor, the lone survivor of an expedition group facing a band of goblins in the wilderness. Though outnumbered, the elf without a second thought fearlessly fought the goblins and heroically saved the scholar. The grateful professor promised that he will never forget what Erevir did. Though the elf was touched by the obvious gratefulness of the scholar, he still felt it was not enough to compensate the guilt he still felt for his family. After he parted ways with Professor Lorrimor, Erevir continued his adventures around Ustalav; still seeking for that grand adventure worthy enough to forgive himself.

One day while enjoying a well-deserved break from his adventures at his favorite inn at Caliphas, Erevir received a sealed letter from the innkeeper. Erevir was surprised to see that the letter came from the estate of the late Professor Petros Lorrimor asking him to go to Ravengro. Having felt some kind of kinship with his brief encounter with the professor who actually reminded the elf of his late father, Erevir set out to journey to Ravengro.

Here are the traits of Erevir: (one is not from the core rules hence it’s still for your approval should my application is accepted).

Campaign Trait: Chance Savior: Fate smiled on you and Professor Lorrimor one day in the not so distant past. Through a matter of pure chance, you were in a position to save the late scholar’s life and did so. His gratitude was effusive, and he promised that he would never forget you. You are unsure of the nature of the summons in his will, but believe he may have listed you as a possible heir in thanks for saving him from an untimely demise. Your ability to think quickly on your feet has stayed with you, and you quite often feel that you’re in the right place at the right time. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Regional Trait for Kyonin: Treerazer’s Bane: Having fought in many battles against the demon Treerazer, you have learned the best ways to kill the various creatures under his control. You gain a +2 trait bonus on weapon damage against demons, evil fey, and plants and animals corrupted by evil. Source: Pathfinder Player’s Companion: Inner Sea Primer, p. 10.

The novice monk enters the master’s small office holding a sealed rolled parchment with a green delicate silk string tying it securely in addition to the sealed wax of the same green hue.

“This just arrived, master.”

Cardino, the old monk looks up from what he was scribbling, a bit annoyed with the sudden intrusion but realized that he left his office door opened. All monks of the monastery know that Cardino only requires everyone to knock if his door is closed; and are free to enter when it’s left opened. Looking at the parchment’s appearance, the old monk knows that it came from the monastery’s contact in Kyonin, the kingdom of the elves.

“Thank you, Derian. And could you kindly take with you those red tomes by the window when you leave and give them to Master Largo? Tell him I’ve already marked the pages he needs with those colorful flat sticks he uses to mark the pages. And please close the door when you leave.”

Cardino opened the parchment as the young monk gathered the tomes. As he quickly reads the content, a great sadness envelopes him when he realizes the gravity of the message.

“Derian, wait!,” Cardino said just as the the young monk was leaving with the tomes. “Come here and please close the door.”

The young man complied and stood in front of the old monk, waiting for Cardino to continue.

“It seems you were expecting this missive, right?”

Derian knows denying it is useless as he is actually the one who insisted to the master monk to use their contact in Kyonin to really find out about what happened to Erevir’s family as the young monk heard from his other elven friends some disturbing rumours about those slain elves in the last incursion of Treerazer’s evil spawns. He actually heard that some of the slains were found not dead after all. Derian did not share this with Erevir as he did not want to give the young elf false hope.

Cardino not actually expecting an answer handed the letter to the young monk who eagerly read through it as well. Just like him, the young monk’s reaction is gloomy.

“Yes, Derian. Your source is right. Erevir’s family is not dead after all. But on the other hand is not alive as well.”

The young monk and the old monk look at each other meaningfully, both actually surmising the same thing in the ominous silence. Cardino finally voiced it out.

“Maybe it’s fate then that brings Erevir to Ustalav. Whatever his family has become, I trust that should he meet them there, it can finally bring some closure to his guilt. For better or for worse. Let’s pray then for Desna’s guidance on our young elf friend.”

Yey! Thanks Bilbo for the tips. I am actually a newbie with PbP and have not played yet in one. ZebulonXenos wrote:

@kuli: I might like to know a little more about his personality - but apart from that, it looks great.

Thanks much, Zeb for reading. Here's more about

Garik's Personality:
Garik is naturally shy and is comfortable just being alone doing his work in a forge but he is quite sociable when needed. However his recent tragic experience and the resulting disfigurement made him more withdrawn and self-conscious. Additionally, he is in his adolescence in dwarven years when the typical awkward self-conscious manner is quite strong. Hence, he comes across as unapproachable made doubly so by his disfigured face and further limits his social life. It’s fortunate that his work in the forge and the brooding for revenge occupies his mind. But since he decided to be an adventurer, he looks forward and actually longs for the companionship of people of his own adolescent age; hoping his peers could look past his appearance and discover the Garik before who may be naturally introvert but is quite friendly.

Garik acquired the strong work ethics, open-mindedness and kindness of his father. He respects authority as long as it does kindness. He also follows his own conscience without regards to whether it’s acceptable or not with others.

The short of his personality now is Garik can be thought of as a teenager dwarf who had just suffered a terrible experience and is now in the process of how he is going to cope with it.

Hi Zeb, I’d like to apply and here’s a character for your consideration. Although, this is just a one-off adventure, I still added a hook in Garik’s background (actually, I think I got carried away a bit with the background LOL)

Garik Randor
Male dwarf barbarian 1
CG Medium humanoid

Garik Randor’s Background:

Garik was a weapon smith from a small village in Nirmathas’ northern mountains bordering Belkzen. He learned his craft from his father Aurus, a skilled weapon smith. Together, father and son built a reputation for crafting the best weapons in that area. They traveled occasionally to surrounding noble houses to accommodate personal requests for weaponsmithing but catering only to the lawful elements of the region. But sometimes master weapon smiths cannot choose their customers.

One day, a group of powerful bandits led by Kurmog, an ogre abducted and forced Aurus to make weapons for the group since the ambitious leader felt his group was ready to abandon a life of banditry for a life of conquest. The dwarf vehemently refused resulting in a fight with the ogre that led to the decapitation of Aurus’s right hand.

Kurmog then abducted Garik forcing the young dwarf to make the weapons instead lest they kill the imprisoned father. The son complied with a heavy heart. It pained Aurus to see his boy become an instrument of evil for his sake and with hopelessness in his tired heart, committed suicide. When Garik finished the weapons, only then did he learn of Aurus’s death; his fury was instant but the bandits easily overwhelmed him. With sadistic glee, Kurmog branded Garik with a large “K” on his left face and told the young dwarf that he was now the personal weapon smith of the group.

Shortly after, Garik escaped and after months of surviving in the wilderness, finally ended in Kassen where he fortunately found a job as apprentice of Braggar Ironhame, a resident blacksmith of the town. Garik managed to have a normal life again with the blacksmith and quietly brooded revenge on Kurmog. He has decided that the best way is to lead a life of adventuring first where he could learn to hone himself with the weapons he makes; and when he feels he is ready, he will return to Kurmog. Garik hopes to start his adventuring day with the coming annual autumn pilgrimage of the town.

The huge ogre glared at the broken greatsword he was holding. It was as shiny and as sharp as a masterwork weapon ought to be but was as brittle as a wooden stick when it came to blows. The same quality was apparent to his bandit group’s weapons as evidenced by the cry of dismay of his troops.

Kurmog had no choice but to call for a retreat. His first campaign for conquest was a failure.

“That bastard son of a dwarf conned us all along! He never intended to honor his end of the bargain.”

The furious ogre smashed two more wooden chairs inside the cave hideout and then sat on the last remaining chair standing in the room and became silent, barely controlling his anger. After several deep breaths, he calls for his lieutenant and speaks.

“Look for another weaponsmith.”

Kurmog was silent again, thinking.

“And spread the word that Kurmog is seeking for his stolen property. The reward for this one is thrice the usual fee. Tell them Kurmog’s mark on this property is readily recognizable.”

Garik is 43 years old, stands 4 feet 1 inch and weighs 180 lbs. He has a heavily-muscled stocky physique borne out of his forge works. His left face is heavily disfigured by the large branded “K”. It starts below his left eye and is so burned deeply on his skin that those branded portions could not grow facial hairs. This makes Garik self-conscious as he wears a beard that only covers the right half of his face. Some people call him “Cakeface”, a derivative of “K-face” behind his back but in times some say it on his face, he never responds to it and just gives the person a meaningful look; a very meaningful look that makes that person never repeat it again.

Hi DM Levis and team,

Here are so far the details of my half-orc monk. Just a heads up, this is my first time to play by post so forgive me if I am not used to the conventions. First thing I tried to learn actually before submitting my monk is how to roll the dice in the forum. Now I get it. Searching the forum helps :)

I think the details below might be too much but I just wanted to be safe. I know DM Levis already mentioned that he prefers the story over stats and I am actually for that, too hence I am excited how my monk would fare story-wise.

As the background shows Dakvor grew up in a happy family but was very well aware of the prejudice against his race. He values much what his mother and stepfather did to give birth to him and learned firsthand the extent of prejudice and violence in Khorvaire when he joined his stepfather Aznak in his arcane explorations especially in the last years of the Last War when they were caught in the middle of too many battles.

His adventure in Karrnath will perhaps severely test his high sense of justice and tolerance to people’s differences as he might be forced to choose to make a stand at one point and realize after a while he made the wrong choice to stand for. Yey! Game on DM Levis!

P.S. of course everything below is subject to your approval DM Levis.

Additional Background:
Since Dakvor started searching for his stepfather, he had also started chronicling his journey and the things he had been learning thus the writing tools he carries. He had also already equaled the fighting prowess of his mentor Vikashtai, a female kalashtar monk3 and the monastery recognized that they had already taught everything to the half-orc in terms of fighting techniques and that Dakvor can grow so much more outside of the monastery and thus tasked Dakvor to discover on his own the higher path of the monk. The monks bestowed to him a parting gift in the form of a silver kama for they knew that the last quest of Aznak where the young half-orc would consequently be involved is in the nation of Karrnath where the undeads were prevalent and a silver weapon can always be of use.

In combat, Dakvor prefers to fight unarmed as his versatile unarmed strike gives him extreme flexibility. He only uses the kama when needed as when it can bypass a foe’s damage reduction. Dakvor has a high respect for spellcasters due to his exposure to his stepfather's powers and knows well that the best way to defeat a spellcaster is to quickly subdue one before it can cast their spells. Aznak actually taught him many times in their travels to use his monk speed to apply this principle.

So team, here's the current roster:

2. Monkeygod with the Boneknight-Cleric
3. Smerg with Child of Winter Druid
4. Darkestheart with Elf Rogue
5. Kuli$sap with the Half-orc Monk

Wow! Thank Levis for considering my monk. Looks like Bones will be the only tank in the team, though. I guess our combats will be heavily tactical and not the gung-ho style as our main combatants are quite frail hp-wise :)

I'm going to choose Option 3 and go for the Stag/Bombardier Beetle option. I will choose the feats of Power Attack and Improved Overrun for the Beetle. This will give the Beetle a 'Bashy' quality that can knock opponents to the ground.

I'll work on trying to get some sort of Trample component but that will likely take a few levels (my next two feats are turning into a Vermin Shapeshift and Natural Spell).

Yey! Thanks Loche / Smerg for thoughtfully considering your vermin companion for the good of the team. I agree with your option 3. I think our team needs a basher-type. I'll be posting additional info later on my half-orc monk but basically it's a mobile fighter with improved grapple and so geared to incapacitate enemy spellcasters. But it can be modified to also incapacitate enemy tanks (those with weak will saves) if we make use of APG monk archetype rules specifically the monk of lotus feats that can make target lose its attack if it fails its will save. However, I am partial to just take the normal stunning fist feat.

Dakvor was raised by monks in a monastery in the mountains of Breland. Aznak Damashek, a human wizard explorer found Dakvor’s then nearly dead pregnant human mother alone in the mountains during a harsh winter. The woman named Almisha, the wizard learned, bravely escaped from a tiny village in the borders of Droaam and Breland that suffered an attack from marauding orcs who violated the women of the village. The villagers, not wanting the orcish blood tainting the village’s lineage, were aborting the fruits of the violation which Almisha did not want to happen to her child.

Aznak rescued Almisha from certain death and brought the helpless woman to the monk monastery where he dwelled as one of the resident mages and where the monks’ tenet was more tolerant of Dakvor’s race. Eventually, the two fell in love, got married, and raised Dakvor in the monastery.

True enough, the monks did not make Dakvor feel inferior because of his race and even bestowed furtively more attention on his progress when he decided to be a monk, too. It was the first time a half-orc became a monk in that monastery and they were naturally curious on how one of such race would fare. Dakvor did not disappoint and excelled on his own merit.

While Dakvor grew up, Aznak continued his arcane exploration, traveling around Khorvaire and Xendrik. Dakvor usually joined his stepfather in these explorations when his training in the monastery required him to travel outside the monastery for three months each year. They both enjoyed this yearly episode and bonded them closer. This became Dakvor’s life for years until a year ago when the wizard did not return from an expedition. The last time Aznak saw Almisha and Dakvor, the wizard spoke of a great artifact that he had been searching for years and was on his way to follow its trail in Karnath.

Dakvor had been roaming Khorvaire since then, joining different adventuring companies who had the same interest as Aznak, hoping they may be searching the same thing as his stepfather sought and hopefully lead him to Aznak himself.

Dakvor is naturally an introvert character but is actually friendly and mischievous with people he had spent a long time and had been comfortable with (this is apparent on his relationship with the monks in the monastery). He always comes as aloof and stoic with strangers. He is a passionate learner especially concerning the path of a monk. He has acquired the nonjudgmental and tolerant attitude of the monastery and has a very high sense of justice.

Wow! Thouroughly corrected, indeed! Daren Bader's art is impressive! I guess even if you just said "Kyra standing" Daren Bader will surprise you with something as impressive :)

I like the idea. I recently bought the Dragon Age RPG that Green Ronin put out, and I STRONGLY urge you to take a look at what they've done there to draw influence for it.

What I'd specifically like to see in the player packet would be:

-Races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling
-Classes: Fighter, Wizard, Cleric Rogue, levels 1-5 only
-Full combat rules
-Full skill rules
-Limited feat options
-Limited equipment (basic adventuring kit, smaller weapon list)
-Limited spell choices
-Simple magic weapons only

GM book should contain:
-Stripped down GMing basics, taking away unnecessary (for low level anyway) things like in-depth CR explanation, custom magic items, and wealth by level.
-Select advice from the GMG
-A diverse bestiary with all of the iconic low CR badies, such as goblins, kobolds and orcs. It should also include a few tougher monsters like a low CR dragon, to be used at the end of the budding GMs adventure.
-Speaking of the bestiary, the art really needs to be eye popping to get new players excited.

I like best what w0nkothesane suggests above if the purpose of the intro set is to get new players. We have to realize that peter jackson's LOTR films have surprisingly been now in the psyche of most non-gaming people and the suggestion of w0nkothesane closely starts from that mindset (the human, elf, dwarf, halfling party). In addition, to w0nkothesane, I also would like to see what NSpicer suggested, the introductory adventure (this is a must for fledging GM),the double-sided flip-mat (one for wilderness & one for dungeon), tokens, & dice.

I was gonna vote for Jason as Damiel, the iconic alchemist but same as Chris above, the link kept going to this....hahaha are the little goblins still in play? This is another good one then.Hedgehog...Porcupine. hahaha...will miss those blogs, indeed.

hahaha....these little goblins did make my day, indeed! Can't wait what mischiefs await tomorrow! You're "in the zone" with that blog, methinks...an adventure path of little goblins at play would really be the epitome of chaos hahaha!!! Keep us smiling and amused, little goblins. Thanks much!
