Something's come up IRL, and I won't have the time to keep up with this game. I need to drop out. I apologize for the trouble and wasting everyone's time. Dropping a game isn't something I take lightly.

Zez'ka claps her hands "Oh, so many questions! Overwhelmed! Curious!"

At Mute's remark, Zez'ka gasps. Her antennae perk up, comically straight. "Oh, dear! You suggest you would break the rules of this important ceremony?! That is -- ! You are -- ! You are 'The Rebel!' But, this is not the place or time for 'The Rebel' and their troublemaking! No, no! Dangerous! Worried!" Zez'ka shakes her head. "Peace between nations is hard-won and must be respected, Rebel Mute! Certain! Many lives were lost and hearts broken! That the formians have given us an opportunity to participate is a great honour! We cannot break the rules because you do not wish to be separated from the 'Shiela-Stick.' Lives are more important than your guns! Certain!" She nods her head for emphasis, making her hair flop around wildly.

A shirrin with brown colouring clacks her mandibles in excitement as she approaches her fellow Starfinders. She wears well worn, practical clothes and armour, and carries a big knife, and a semi-automatic pistol holstered on her hip. A few healing serums poke out from her pockets, but the backpack over her shoulder looks practically empty. Curiously, she has long brown hair growing atop her head. Whether it is a genetic anomaly or a wig is unclear.

Many greetings, soon-to-be friends!" she exclaims, massive compound eyes glittering. Her antennae twitch and quiver in anticipation. She approaches each of the Starfinder in turn, shaking their hands enthusiastically and stroking their faces with her antennae. "I am Zez'ka! I am thrilled to be meeting you and desire to befriend you! Hopeful!

Greetings complete, she takes a seat, gives an enthusiastic wave to her fellow Starfinders, and spends a solid fifteen minutes exploring the drink menu, seeming to take great delight from the array of options.

"My last mission was great fun, although all those before were horrifying and heart-wrenching! Sad!" Her antennae droop in mourning. "I hope this one involves less death, dismemberment, and tears. Hopeful!" Her antennae perk right back up.

Zez'ka clacks her mandibles and claps for Mute. "Oh, delightful! I am the 'Warrior of the Pact Worlds,' as well! They called me, 'The Rebel!'" She nods, causing her hair to flop around unnaturally. "Oh, it was great fun! Happy!"

Oh, wow. Yeah, that sounds horrible. Be safe.

Zez'ka squeals in delight and claps her hands, waggling her antennae around rapidly. "Victory?! PROUD! Oh, I have had a great deal of fun!" She waves at the crowd and cameras. "Happy to meet you, Soon-To-Be-Friends!!"

Zez'ka joins in the dance with enthusiasm, but she's a jittery, wild dancer, and it looks super awkward. "HAPPY!"

Zez'ka grabs onto the walls and scurries down the hall like a spider, stopping right near Frank.

"Aha!" Zez'ka exclaims, continuing to twitch around wildly. "I am too unpredictable Nemesis-Shonyvyzam! Better luck next time!"

(He saw you liked my daughter's sky bunnies last month on Facebook, and has few people he can brag to that have any idea what he's talking about, haha). "TRIUMPHANT!" Zez'ka trills proudly.

"This time, I am onto you, Opponent-Verity-5! Dodge THIS!" Zez'ka twitches and jerks around, then fires her gun at Verity while her head is upside down.

Trusting Smek to handle himself, Zez'ka turns on Verity. "It is time for... the 'Epic Showdown!' " Zez'ka whips out her pistol, twitches around erratically, then fires her gun at the android across from her.

"Aha! You're dodging skills are impressive, Opponent-Verity! This will make for a wonderful 'Epic Showdown!' Excited! But you won't dodge my next attacks! Certain!" Zez'ka antennae quiver in anticipation. She's clearly having way too much fun.

Zez'ka pushes off from the wall and shoots down the hallway like a rocket.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Managing to keep her footing as she reaches the far wall. With a resounding SNAP of her mandibles, Zez'ka glowers at the Pahtra holding Friend-Smek hostage.

"Let him go!" Zez'ka exclaims dramatically, making a very Serious Voice. "I am 'The Rebel' and I am bringing 'The DISCORD!"

She works really hard to NOT squal aloud in glee. Being 'The Rebel' was Serious Business.

"No flag that I can see, Friend-Rose-5!" Zez'ka agrees. "Oh, yes! The Rivals are very 'The Rude!' In fact, I believe they are experts at it! I wonder why they have chosen to work together, if they do not feel the companionship and unity? Curious!" With a gasp of shock, she waggles her antennae! "You wish to cause 'The Discord' among them? How naughty! Surprised! I suppose this competition does have flexible rules that reward naughty behaviour... And today I am 'The Rebel!' " Zez'ka trills for a while, clacking her mandibles in thought. "Alright, Friend-Rose-5! I will embrace the life of 'The Rebel' and buckle to your expertly applied 'Pressure of the Peers!' Let us cause, 'The Discord!' "

Zez'ka adjusts her hair. "I am 'The Serious.' " Unfortunately, a moment later she squeals, 'EXCITED!" which thoroughly ruins her newly adopted 'dangerous rebel' persona.

Zez'ka grabs onto the wall and drags herself down the hall, peeking into the engine room as she passes it by. Seeing no flag, she continues, getting just ahead of Smek. She readjusts herself, getting her legs up behind her against the wall and hanging onto it with her hands, so she's ready to push off down the hall next round.

"Got it! Sounds dangerous! EXCITING!"

Cool! Then she'll need to make a check to stop at the end of that movement when she reaches the wall, to avoid being off-kilter.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 Passing.

And she'll peek into the bathroom she's beside to see... a bathroom!

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Zez'ka opens the door and pulls herself through it, out into the air lock. Then starts to open the next airlock door.

Are they actual airlocks? And are they actually shut? I assumed they were and that this would use up her whole turn. If they're not shut, or are easier to open, she'll also hang onto the open doorway, and launch herself in a straight line forward (along the red arrow), and grab onto that wall she'll bump into (where the arrow ends).

"Oh, oh! I wil.... uhm... uhh... OH! THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES!" She trills in delight and claps her hands. "I will stand... here. NO! Here! NO! Right here by the door! And when the game starts I will head outside and move to claim the unclaimed flag! YES! It will be SO FUN! HOPEFUL!"

Zez'ka makes sure her tactical pistol is loaded, and stands ready to exit the room, hopping from foot to foot and waving her antennae around.

"ANTICIPATION!!"

Zez'ka trills in pleasure at being called 'an expert in friendship.' She claps her hands. "Oh, yes, Friend-Rose-5! I would be happy to help!" Zez'ka stands right beside Rose-5, and leans in close, whispering absurdly loudly while she points at the others. "Friend-Datch came with 'the Offer of the Goodwill.' In this case, it is the gifts of food meant for consumption. But, Friend-Smek and Friend-Deger are 'The Suspicious!' Naughty, naughty! I suspect they have had many troubling incidents in the past where their trust has been broken. Perhaps they even have the dreaded 'Traumatic Backstory' that I have heard so much about. CURIOUS!! They are being 'The Grump' and have refused 'The Offer of the Goodwill' on behalf of us all. SAD! I do not appreciate having my choices taken from me. But, I think, perhaps, I will be 'The Rebel' and consume 'The Offer of Goodwill' anyway!" She clacks her mandibles in anticipation. "EXCITING!"

She pauses for a moment, antennae twitching towards the food. "Oh.... YES! I will do it! I am 'The Rebel!' "

Zez'ka goes over to the food table, examines the many, many, many options, and trills in delight. She picks food up, a piece at a time, and eats it. Then starts making mini-sandwiches out of pieces of the various foods. Her combination choices are eccentric, to say the least. After every bite she exclaims "Delicious!" or "It is 'The Gross!". Whatever her decision, she seems very pleased.

"Friend-Datch is very generous!"

Through a mouthful of food, Zez'ka says, "Yes, Friend-Zo! I am ready!"

She does not look ready.

"Goodye, Friend-Datch!" Zez'ka exclaims, waving her arms in the air in farewell. Turning to her other companions, she clacks her mandibles in excitement. "Oh, I do so ADORE making friends! HAPPY!"

"Hello, Datch! I desire to befriend you! HOPEFUL!" She approaches Datch and strokes her with her antennae. Then she steps back and clacks her mandibles. "Greetings! Are you here on official business, Friend-Datch? Curious!"

Zez'ka adjusts her hair and steps forward, antennae wiggling in a frenzy, and mandibles clacking in excitement. "Oh, greetings future-friends! I desire to entice you with our delicious, ingenious, inventive meals! Excited!" She claps her hands in glee, then gestures at the food. "As Friend-Rose-5 has said, this food is cooked, seasoned, and displayed with enthusiasm! Akata steaks cooked to medium rare with traditional dwarven charcoal grill, seasoned with quiminy berries, crushed treehopper beetles, and puji juice! It is an exciting combination I devised myself! Proud!" She half covers her mouth and adds loudly, "Although, my dwarf friends here did not approve of my creative palate! Sad!" She gestures back at the food. "Verimu chili pancakes with an added side of mysterious-herd-animal-slurry! YUM!"

She gestures grandly. "ENJOY! HOPEFUL!"

"OH! I have just realized you cannot consume food! Hahaha! How strange for you to judge this! CONFUSED! But, do not worry, future-friends. I will taste the food as well, then send you impressions of its flavours! Yes? It will be 'the fun!'" She claps, clearly excited about this prospect.

She'll used her communalism ability to roll twice and use the higher result.

Facepalm!

After her totally eloquent speech, Zez'ka attempts to snag a bite of each of the meals, then then sends telepathic impressions of the flavours to the hosts, using imagery coupled with obnoxiously optimistic and pleasant emotions.

Zez'ka gasps at Deger's complaints. "Oh, dear! I believe you should expand your horizons, Friend-Deger! This is going to be a delicious culinary experiment! Certain!"

She continues to 'help' cook!

Zez'ka continues to cook up a storm, taking great delight in choosing every addition!

Zez'ka -- who would never think of sabotaging the other team! -- happily goes about trying to prepare the meal.

With no idea what the strange dog-lion is, Zez'ka twitches her antennae in thought. "Strange!" she decides. "Unnerved!" She twitches and jerks forward erratically, shows the beast her back, then bends down, inexplicably firing a shot from her pistol while upside down between her own legs...

"Surprise!"

"OUCH!" Zez'ka exclaims as she gets bitten by her dinner. A moment later she lets out a chittering laugh. "Ironic! Amused!" Looking at the bird she grins. "I like you, bird!" She suddenly dives backwards, coming up in a series of rolls. As her movement slows she fires her gun at the bird's side. "Apologetic!"

Trick attack with uncanny mobility so she doesn't provoke from the bird due to her movement.

Zez'ka beams at Rose-5. "Oh, Friend-Rose-5, you have made me very happy! Elated! JOYFUL!" She wraps Rose up in a big hug, stroking her with her antennae again. Then she pulls back and claps her hands. "Hugs can change the world, you know. I once stopped a robot invasion with the power of hugs, kindness, and affection. Also, companions with many guns." She nods wisely. "Proud!"

So overwhelmed is she at these delightful choices, Zez'ka takes AGES to make up her mind. She positively vibrates with excitement! Eventually she nods her head at Deger. "Starfinders stick together! Red bird it is, Friend-Deger!"

Zez'ka dashes forward, twitching and jerking around erratically -- looking a lot like a character in a glitching holovid game. Suddenly she flails around, thrusting her body one way and her arms the other, as she fires her tactical pistol at the bird from a very unconventional angle! "SURPRISE!"

Unfortuantely, the bird, (being awkward and uncoordinated itself), does not look surprised in the least...

"Oh, my! How exciting!" Zez'ka offers her hand to Rose-5, and comes in suuuuuper close, stroking Rose-5 with her antennae. After a few moments she lets out a trill and steps back. "Wonderful to meet you Rose-5! I am thrilled to become your near and dear friend and ally! I sincerely hope you do not get eviscerated on our dangerous and surprising venture!" With a clack of her mandibles she exclaims, "Hopeful!"

As they're hustled off after the race Zez'ka waves to the cameras. "Greetings soon to be friends!"

After a few more moments she exclaims, "Oh, this is very exciting! I love a good race! So... what's going on? Curious!"

When she reaches the pressure plate trap she attempts to hop over it.

Ready to go, Zez'ka immediately runs and leaps at the platforms, clearly intending to hop across the lava.

"Dangerous!" she squeals with more than a little enthusiasm. "Nervous!"

Zez'ka slides down the chute, letting out a loud "WHEEEEEEE! EXCITED!" She lands in a completely unnecessary roll, then pops back up on her feet, and hurries over to the edge of the flashing light floor. "WHOAH! Intrigued!"

She holsters her gun and gets ready to hop across when Rose gives her the a-okay!

"Anticipation!"

Zez'ka spends her turn stuffing the box into her backpack, and putting her backpack back on. Thus prepared she pulls out her tactical pistol. Her mandibles clack and her antennae quiver rapidly as she stares at the slide and the ooze. "Anticipation!"

Zez'ka grabs onto the metal cable and shimmies up it to the top of the wall.

Athletics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

When she reaches the top, Zez'ka grins at the robot, then strokes it with her antennae. "CURIOUS!"

As Rose explains what the little bot wants, Zez'ka clacks her mandibles. "Of course I can carry the heavy and awkward box! Happy!" She takes the box from the robot. "Useful!"

Sorry, how big is the box? Can she carry it under one arm, or stuff it in her backpack, or does it take both hands to carry it around?

Double move gets her to the base of the wall, she took the wooden planks.

"AHHHH!" the shirren shrieks aloud as she lands with a THUD on her butt in the sand. "CONFUSED!"

Seeing fellow Starfinders she claps her hand in glee. "Oh! Hello soon-to-be-friends! HAPPY! I am Zez'ka! My last four missions were terribly horrifying and heart-wrenching! Sad! Suspenseful! SAD!" Her antenna droop in mourning. "I hope this one involves less death, dismemberment, and tears. Hopeful!" Her antennae perk right back up. "What is going on? CURIOUS!"

Noticing everyone seems to be moving really quick across the room, she lets out a loud gasp and clacks her mandibles. "OH! We're racing! I get it! Confident!" She claps her hands again, apparently very proud of herself. "Excited!"

Zez'ka moves to follow the others.

Zez'ka stands up, spends way too long talking, and moves a few spaces toward the wood planks. Movement marked in yellow.
