![]() So I just reported two scenarios. YAY reporting! However, there is a curious thing. I received 1 ACP for the scenario that I ran at my event. A friend of mine ran the second scenario for my event, and I apparently received 4 ACP for that one? Is that as functioning as expected? I must admit I don't know exactly what the expectations are for ACP. ![]()

![]() So, I have been trying for several days to figure out how to report. The PF2 Society Guide on the OrganizedPlayFoundation page says to go to something called PathfinderSociety.club However, as near as I can tell. There is no such thing as PathfinderSociety.club. Are you using some different internet than the one I use? Going to the paizo.com website and using the old reporting system also does not work. I can designate a session as Pathfinder Society (2nd Edition), but there are no scenarios in the dropdown chooser for scenario, and the system will not let me report without picking a scenario. What is the scoop? I have two sessions I want to report, but cannot figure out how. I have reported lots of sessions in the past, so feel like I ought to be able to maneuver the process, but I am at a loss here. ![]()
![]() I had signed up a few days ago for some subscriptions - Pathfinder Rulebooks, Pathfinder Adventure Path, Pathfinder Lost Omens, and Pathfinder Society Scenarios. Then I read something amazing - subscription to 4 separate lines gives either Pathfinder Society Scenarios or Starfinder Society Scenarios as a complimentary item! Since that is the case, can I add a subscription to Pathfinder Adventures and switch my Pathfinder Society Scenarios subscription to be complimentary? ![]()
![]() Good afternoon, fine Paizo Customer Service folk, Thanks to the newfangled 2e buzz, I am restarting my subscriptions to your fine product. However, in my order, it would not let me start the Core Rulebook and Adventure Path subscriptions with the upcoming 2e goodness, and has instead forced me to start with AP #143 (Tyrant's Grasp 5 of 6) and Planar Adventures. I don't actually want those to be my starting points. I want to start with the new goodness! Can you shift my subscription to start with AP #145 (Age of Ashes 1) and the 2e Core Rulebook? As a side note, the subscriptions for Lost Omens and Pathfinder Society Scenarios seem to be acting properly, letting me start where I wanted. Thanks,

![]() So, the rel trick to continuing to play PFS1 is to simply continue playing it. You all DO realize that the scenarios are inexpensive and good, right? Buy them, play them with your friends. You don't have to report to play. Granted, if play IS recorded, that helps generate more support from the company, and that is good, but just because they won't be producing more doesn't mean you have to stop playing. For people worried about replay. Uh, why? Just play all you want. The only the thing you can't really do is REPORT additional plays. Nobody is stopping you from replaying your favorite scenarios all you want at home, or as part of any non-official play. ![]()
![]() Dear Paizo folks, Please cancel my Starfinder Adventure Path subscription after #12 Heart of Night (Signal of Screams Part 3 of 3). Also, please cancel my Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription after #138 Rise of New Thassillon (Return of the Runelords Part 6 of 6). It has been a nice long run with you guys, but I will not be returning for 2nd Edition. ![]()
![]() Good afternoon Sharaya, So, I went ahead and clicked on the next square for confirmation. As it turns out, it just tucked it over into my sidecart, which I assume means that it will ship when it can. Any chance you can confirm that I now show up as subscribing with a start issue of #1 in the sidecart? Also, I guess I won't get the pdf available for download until it actually ships, correct? ![]()
![]() Good afternoon, folks, I was going to go ahead and jump on the Starfinder AP bandwagon this afternoon, but when I click on the button to start with AP #1, it gives me an "Unable to Ship" notice. Am I too late to start with #1, or is there something particularly funky going on? It shouldn't have anything to do with my address, you have been sending me Pathfinder AP's here since September 2008. Oh man, I just realized I have been subscribing to these things for nine years. Now I feel old. ![]()
![]() So, soft cover (intervening allies, enemies, or other persons) contributes a -4 to your attack roll. This replaces the old "firing into melee" penalty. If you can maneuver for a clear shot (i.e., no intervening cover), there is no penalty for ranged combat into melee groups. Conversely, if someone moves and stands in between you and your target, your are now at a -4 for cover, instead of what used to be a -2 for soft cover. ![]()
![]() Good Evening, Most Revered Customer Service Peeps, Prior to GenCon, I had figured I would be able to pick up my various goodies at the Paizo Booth in the Exhibit Hall. Unfortunately, for various and sundry reasons, I was not able to make it to the Exhibit Hall this year. Is there any way to get my last round of subscription items re-mobilized to ship to my home address as normal? ![]()
![]() Lest we forget, they playtested the Pathfinder Core Rules system before releasing. There was EXTENSIVE playtesting in both Alpha and Beta. Frankly, it is part of what made the system successful. Let's see: Thousands of fans of an existing system - check Opportunity to play in the new world with the new toys - check Have a voice in the direction of the whole thing - check They could do all of these things if they wanted to, they have done it before. Granted, that was a roughly two-year development cycle, IIRC, and I am sure they don't want it to take that long. But so long as they are talking about something backwards compatible, they can't be moving that far from the core mechanics. They have playtested a LOT of big changes to the system, so it seems a little odd to me that they aren't doing an open playtest for this. Fishy? I don't know enough to say. ![]()
![]() I got everything except the pair of Tier 7-8 tickets I wanted for the special. I was working from a phone at the Georgia Renaissance Festival, so not the ideal situation. It took me about 10 minutes to connect to the website and submit my wishlist. My initial number was about 6570 or so. An hour later, I was at about 1100. I checked in an hour later and had all but the aforementioned tickets to the special. Checked out with no problem. ![]()
![]() You can still use a longbow if you own a shield, you simply can't use both at the same time, and there are actions required to switch between using the shield and using the longbow. So, it's probably not a bad idea to own a shield, just remember to switch back and forth when you need to. If you are using the longbow, you don't get the shield bonus to AC. If you are using the shield, you have to spend actions to remove/drop it and pull out the longbow. ![]()

A bunch of power-mad lunatics given the opportunity to play Aspis agents? That is a serious recipe for insanity. Even so, he kept us all moving along nicely. That was one of the most enjoyable PFS tables I have had the pleasure of joining. ![]()
![]() Here is what I am running for this: Mists of Mwangi 0-05
![]()
![]() I am only missing three tables of credit, and two of those have been missing for a while. In the change, the system seems to have FOUND (yay!) my runs of Master of the Fallen Fortress and Godsmouth Heresy, so that's awesome. However, it lost one run of #00-02 The Hydra's Fang Incident from way back on May 31, 2013. I am still missing two mystery credits. My complete list is two higher than show on the website. That being said, the website does list all the runs (excepting the aforementioned Hydra's Fang that it lost), but if you add them up, the number of LISTED tables doesn't match the number of table credits. It's weird, but I have counted them like eleven times. I suspect that it is the two odd scenarios that I ran at GenCon last year that aren't being added to the mix, since everything else is pretty standard. I did two runs of Beginner Box Demos Part 2 (one on August 15th, and one August 16th). Does that particular run not count towards table count? If I take those two out of my math, it adds up to the 121 currently that appears on my GM/Event Coordinator tab. ![]()
![]() I will add my voice to the "oh god not peanuts again!" group. We hate them, and most of the time they serve no purpose except to stick to cats. They really are a terrible option for packing. Especially when they show up Tuesday morning all over the neighborhood because the garbage guys broke the bag open. Environmentally unfriendly, difficult to dispose, and stick to EVERYTHING. Please find a better alternative. Air bags, wrapping paper, anything is better than styrofoam peanuts. ![]()
![]() As several of you have noted, this scenario does not hold up particularly well against a 6-PC party of folks with all of the various new toys available. May I suggest that nobody run this for more than 4-PCs at a table? That's how it was designed, after all, and it makes it much more interesting for the GM. It also makes this easier to schedule. ![]()
![]() This is our current playlist for Core Campaign - takes you to level 11 and gets most of the good stuff completed. I did leave out specials, though. Does stuff in order, in tier, and completes several good arcs. Mists of Mwangi 0-05

Exactly correct, sir. I have the same symptom in my two events. ![]()
![]() I also lost two table as of this morning - Master of the Fallen Fortress - Event #2766 for Worldwide Game Day 2010 on 06/19/2010 has disappeared Godsmouth Heresy - Event #5578 for Dora Gameday on 04/10/2011 has disappeared. Strangeness, because both DO show up under GM/Event Coordinator, but NOT under Sessions ![]()
![]() So I was checking my GM/Event Coordinator numbers over on My Pathfinder Society, as I am pathologically wont to do, and I noticed that the number of session reported does not add up to the amount of table credit reported. All of my reported sessions show up, but the credit count is off by two. In other words, counting up the number of sessions, then adding for those few sessions that cound as +2 for GM credit, I should have a total of 121 tables of credit, but I only see 119 tables of credit on the site. None of my sessions are missing, so I suspect the problem might be related to one of two things - either some of scenarios/modules that count as +2 for GM credit are not doing so, or some of the scenarios are not providing any credit at all. I have run the following 2-credit scenarios:
Everything added up correctly until just after GenCon 2014, which is when I noticed that my numbers were off by two. I ran two sessions of Beginner Box Demos and one session of Silverhex Chronicles at GenCon 2014. Could those be the culprit? The other problem I notice is that I ran 6-00 Legacy of the Stonelords in the Saturday night slot at GenCon, and it is reported as 5-22 Scars of the Last Crusade, which I have never played or run. Is there any way to check on these things? Thanks, Customer Service Folks! ![]()
![]() So, you cannot put Ghost Touch on a bow, for it is neither a melee weapon nor ammunition. I just learned that today when comparing the Core Rulebook to Ultimate Equipment. However, that additional language is added in UE, but does not exist as a restriction in the Core Rulebook, which brings up an interesting question. In Core Campaign, can you make a Ghost Touch bow? What about other items that were updated/modified between the Core Rulebook and later publications? i.e., if thing exists in Core Rulebook but has been later modified in some manner, do we use the CRB version of thing, or the modified version of thing? ![]()

![]() I like to think that this eldritch being from beyond the stars spends plenty of time observing you, hence "The haunting certainty that someone is watching you". The DC of 17 probably already takes into account the modifier of the spell (I would guess it to be the secondary at +5). In other words, the real DC is 22, but you get a +5 bonus for the secondary knowledge portion, which means you need a 17 for the actual save. ![]()
