Yuri takes his place at the exit from the ship and checks to make sure that all crew members that exit the vessel are not armed.

Yuri looks over the others and sighs.

"I will be running security for the group again, I assume. Can I see the restrictions on weapons and armour for this 'berg, sir?"

"I grew up on Mjolnar. I am sure those in the cities had computers, but it is a desolate planet, and my people lived outside of the cities. Books were one of the few things we could enjoy...and when I joined the marines, our first training was using old printed Imperial manuals. Of course, that changed once basic was over and we all got moved to the starbase!"

Yuri walks into the common room looking to start his computer training. He sees Zaeta comfortably seated reading a book...a REAL book. He stands, watches for a few moments, and sees a crew member approach her. He listens to the encounter and frowns as the young man shrugs and wanders away.

"Sorry I am late for my computer training. I overheard what you said to that crewman...and I think what you said was very interesting. I grew up with books...that is why I am not so good at using computers. Most of our training manuals were actually manuals..."

He quietly chuckles as he takes a seat and sets down his portable computer.

"Now where were we??"

Yuri keeps his ears open as he travels the starport looking for supplies for his department. As he travels to the various vendors, he listens for various rumors and local news.

Yuri keys his comm and replies to Freyjason.

"Da Doc. I will shoo them your way once they are satisfied that we are not attempting to make off with the station's fittings!"

He looks again at the inspectors.

"Looks like the Doctor is waiting for you...are we done here?

Seeing the two crewmembers reaching their boiling point, Yuri steps in.

"Jannson! Ohnstad! Stand to! You let these nice young fellas do their job. If they are being difficult, you just say 'Yes Sir'! If they are acting the fool, you just say "Yes Sir'. If they are being the worst pain-in-the-a$$, sum b$!~@, wet-behind-the-ears, useless sacks of skin...what do you say??"

Turning to the Inspection crew's leader, Yuri salutes and speaks.

"I am sorry for the miscommunication between my men and your team. They get a little out of sorts when dealing with inexperienced staff. How many weeks did you say you were on the job...Sir?"

Yup...still here...just reviewing my security force...lol

Yuri actually has no interest in trade...it's just a little too much for his mind to encompass. He is more interested in the safety and security of the crew and the ship...

Yuri is a blunt tool...so security or leg breaking!! Good with weapons and hand to hand, as well as stealth!!

I had 3 rolls for armor...is it possible to use all of them to get a set of combat armor???

@Crastor-Sure that sounds very plausible...what kind of skill are you looking for?? Maybe he taught you a bit about gun combat???

If possible I would like Streetwise-1 and Persuade-1. I think they fit Yuri the best. That will leave you Electronics and Advocate and leave Investigate up for someone else..

As a marine, I do not need more gun combat (I have it a 2 already) but some of the investigation skills might be useful!

Yuri takes a seat where he can keep an eye on Kiziah and the pilots. He orders a drink and stays ready to act if needed.

"I'll go with you Kiziah. Let's see what we can get out of those two!"

He follows Kiziah into the bar as they look for a seat near the two pilots.

Yuri, while not as excited about the prospect of following the crewmen, gets up and joins Kiziah.

"Well let's see what they are up to!"

"Would we be able to use the security cameras to help follow them? It would make it much easier to stay at arm's length that way!"

Yuri is hesitant but will agree with the others

Yuri watches as Kiziah brings the information up on the screen. As she makes her discovery, he asks the security personnel,

"Are there cameras at the departure sites or along the corridors? Perhaps we can try to follow and see where he went?"

Yuri steps up to the reader and starts to search the files.

It's a simple matter to make use of Tycho's facial recognition database to turn up footage of Dr. Cerri's last day at work.

The cameras show him leaving work and heading home, just as he'd said he was. As he passes through a crowded market area, though, the cameras lose him. "Cameras there were busted," Mohawk volunteers if you ask about the gap in coverage.
If you pass an additional TN 9 Int (Tech) or Perc (Search) check, you may open the next spoiler.

Int (Tech): 3d6 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4, 4) + 3 + 2 = 16

By opening up the search parameters to include likely false positives, you find some other potential results. It takes a while, but you find more footage of Dr. Cerri being escorted through a docking area by two burly men in jumpsuits. They keep positioning themselves to block his face from the cameras, but there are a couple of times where he turns his head directly to the cameras for just a few frames.

The men usher him on board a ship, which a quick check of docking records tells you is named the Ebenezer Hazard, a cargo freighter registered to Pope-Sanchez Shipping.
If you passed both previous checks and make another TN 13 Perception (Empathy or Intuition) check, you may open the next spoiler. Anyone watching may attempt this, not just whoever is trying to search the records.

"Well this is very interesting! Anyone see anything else on this video?"

Yuri gives a sigh of relief as Fred gives them access to the feeds.

"This is good...many thanks, Mr. Johnson. Now just show me where to set up to access these files...?"

Yuri looks surprised that "The Man" himself would come and look into their investigation. After the way he treated the Mormons, he was unsure of how their investigation would go with Fred's interference.

Playing around with the system, Yuri is surprised to see such protection on what he thought was a normal station security system.

"Well this is interesting. This system has miltec level protection. I could try to hack it, but I might set off an alarm and bring station security down on our head!"

Not really sure security will allow them access to the files they want, Yuri decides to look at the possibility of obtaining them in a 'different' manner.

Yuri will try to access the security system, but only to check their level of IC. He will attempt to leave no trail or alert anyone that he is there.

"Sounds like the next step. Where are these files kept? Where can we access them? Do we have access to the shared system or security data, or do we need to 'help ourselves?"

Getting up from the computer station, Yuri shakes his head.

"Well nothing of any interest there. Anything else we can look into while we are here? Do you have his personal comm by chance?"

Yuri moves to the terminal and begins to examine the files held within...searching for anything out of the ordinary or suspicious.

Yuri again stays back as the others talk to the doctor. He examines the room around him, looking for anything that might be out of place or lead to some clue as to what happened to these men.

Yuri harumphs as he finds no new information on the terminal. Listening to Kiziah he nods his agreement.

"Might as well get all the ducks in a row, as they say. Thank you madam for your help."

He sketches a short bow towards Fiona as the group heads out.

Looking to see if anything was missed first

"Hmm..I know a little about computer systems and the like...do you want me to take a look?

Yuri thanks Fiona for the cuppa and asks,
"So what was it your husband was working on for the Mormons? Had he been acting strangely at all over the last few days before his abduction? Anything out of the ordinary happen here? Strangers wandering by or odd messages left on your terminal?"

He takes a sip while waiting for the woman to respond.

Having nothing to add to the conversation, Yuri stays quiet and turns to see if their group has attracted any attention from others.

Yuri follows the others, but move so he is beside Ignacio.

"What do you think Father? Can the Mormon be trusted? "

Getting up with the others, Yuri walks over to where Kiziah is examining the book and whispers to her.

"Time to go."

He heads out with a final nod to the Apostle.
