@GM, would we be able to get Fred Johnson to assign one of his people to act as our Oracle? Just keeping an eye on the cameras and keeping us informed about where they're going. Alternatively could one of us PCs do that?
I'd also like to check previous visits and see what bars or other locales they like to visit so we can trail them more effectively :)

This has had a lot of stops and starts, and most recently I just got so frustrated with myself with how the game was going it sort of spiraled into me not being able to really look at it. I'm able to get over that now, obviously, since I'm posting in here, but I do owe you all an apology. If y'all are willing, I will try to get us back on track again. If not, no hard feelings.
There's honestly some really cool stuff not far down the line here but in hindsight starting with a pretty open ended investigation was probably not the best way to begin.
I’ve been enjoying it so far and would be willing to continue. Having made similar spirals with an early-game open investigation, I definitely understand that frustration.
I'm also game to continue! I do have some hesitancy about posting a lot since I have much much less system knowledge than I do for Pathfinder. I don't always have time to double check the rules before posting so a post to this game feels a little more intimidating/time consuming that others.
I'm working on getting over that, just wanting to communicate clearly.
Sounds good. I will be traveling for a conference on Wednesday, the 11th, and will not be home until the afternoon of Sunday the 15th. I'll plan on getting us rolling again on Monday.
We could also see about recruiting a few more folks to replace anyone who might've dropped out.

Hey everyone. This last week I had multiple exposures to covid and, while my rapid test came back negative, I am definitely sick with something and have very little energy. I am waiting on a PCR test to let me know for sure what I do or don't have.

Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth. I do indeed have covid, but am slowly getting back to feeling like a human being again. I'll try and get back up to speed again soon. I'm not going to let something as petty as an unending global plague stop me from getting this rolling again, lol.
Just do what you gotta do to feel better. I know we are super low on the priority list when you have covid, but keep us in the loop.

Wanted to mention to my various games. I have decided to spin up a Starfinder PbP game. This time I will be using Discord to handle the game. I have been enjoying how discord does things, and its nice to be able to play on mobile a bit easier.

Hey all, I have been wrestling with this for a bit but I think I am in the process of slowly winding down my PBP games in favor or IRL games. While I love the Expanse and want to play in this setting, I don't think it's fair for me to re-commit to this game for as long as a PBP will typically take. So I will be ducking out of this campaign.
I hope y'all are able to take this crew to some exciting places, and please avoid the glowy blue alien goop if you can help it!

No worries. The missing scientists, near as you have been able to tell, were kidnapped from Tycho Station and put on the ship these people crew. They did not, however, get off at Vesta. The trip from Tycho to Vesta took about 14 hours longer than usual, which is consistent with a short stop at an asteroid with an abandoned mining station along the way.
Also, I realized it looked like I just never acknowledged Tristan. His player and I spoke privately first so I did actually talk to them about it lol
Well, friends, I think it's time we call it. I'm sorry this game didn't work out, as I really love the setting, but it seems like we just couldn't quite get the hang of it. I appreciate the time and effort everyone put into this game and your characters.
I am so sorry for my lack of reply. I kept thinking about it, but never knowing what to do or say. Was a bit lost somehow.
It really is a great setting and I am sorry it never grabbed me into a good RP position. No one did anything wrong, and the RP was great.
