This was a pretty damn good story, and you told it really well! Judging by the damage output of Narayan, it seems these modules aren't made tough enough. Sometimes you want a good ole dungeon crawl with a healthy bump of monsters to chop through. The implied danger presented by the Chaos Beast was interesting, glad we had someone who could conjure an earth elemental...I really did not want to have to make the FORT save! Thank you all for having me it was a blast!

He is first level, yes, but I was advised to wait until he was 4th to get the whole enchilada you get from this.

Thank you. I am glad I was able to provide some entertainment. I hope it wasn't anything too over the top for anyone to have to endure. It was nothing I really planned though, just a spontaneous metaphor for a barbarian's rage that I ran away with. The sad thing, is that I probably won't ever be able to ever match, let alone top that performance. So, if we do ever cross paths again, I will most likely disappoint. It would be rather ironic if the pinnacle of my role playing came from running a pre-gen

FREE ACTION-Amiri Rages (10/12)

Once again, Amiri sees herself upon a cake...however, possibly due to to the horror of the monstrosity before her, it is not quite the same cake. Tiered and flowered, it is a grand masterpiece to behold!
She looks down and sees that she is wearing an extravagant gown of the purest white.cue Madonna's "Like a Virgin"

Esmerelda Balcescu, the flawless planner, is laying out the final buffs upon the wedding party.
Narayan Singh ushers the last few guests to their designated places, narrowing his eyes as he scans the area for any who would disrupt the ceremony.
Parrym glides low on Meneldnor bearing the platinum ring she would wear, flower petals softly floating down as they pass down the aisle.
Inspector Pendergast, clasping her arm, leads her down the aisle. As they stop before the altar, he raises her veil and kisses her on the cheek, giving the blushing bride away.
Imhakaru, the stately paladin stands ready to preside over the ceremony in the center of the altar.

All of the groomsmen and bridesmaids stand equally with her on the bride's side...across from them, a horrid creature.

"Does anyone have any objections as to why this battle should not occur? Speak now or forever hold your peace!"
Pendergast swiftly stabs Crove to eliminating any threat of trouble trouble from him.

I believe the steps Amiri has to climb is 2 spaces, which will put her exactly at the far door with a double move, and unable to try the door itself either way

It's the far door closer to the "bottom" of the room. I think the opaque square made Amiri's icon disappear within, I lost her in there. A dimensional rift within the room?

In Pathfinder, are you able to go diagonally through a doorway? Specifically, the space behind Narayan to the space to his left(from the map view)

I only asked the above because since it was established that we do need to kill these "gentlemen," I assumed Narayan was going to do lethal damage, and so I took his attack on Crove for granted on that fact and did not read his post closely. It was only when you said "don't let the beast kill Crove" I went back and checked his post. Either way it's cool, it may even make this encounter more interesting! Anyhoo, I just saw that the good Inspector beat the beast on initiative and I know he is able to be counted on in this matter

Cool, I was just saying for general purposes. because of the information provided, Amiri isn't thrilled about the idea of becoming an amorphous blob, and is willing to wait for an opportune moment. Especially if the elemental can move past the Chaos Beast and take the AoO so she can move in and provide room for someone else to move up-at least enough to get a clear shot on the thing

I think this Earth Elementa was best case scenario for this fight...CHEERS Parrym!Once again, if Amiri has all pertinent info from Inspector P's knowledge check, and room, she will elect for her bastard sword.

I really bet those caged-head gentlemen who greeted us at the door are trained to be able to give the utmost personal tender-loving care to each individual that gets "invited' to stay here. Yes sir, nothing but five star treatment at your average local asylum! Wailing all day long while chained up, strapped in a strait-jacket, and lounging in their own filth?
Oh, no, I just bet that they they have spent good gold on magicks that alert them when they are ready to pass the high scale slop they are fed on a daily basis-and are taken to warmed up baths scented with exotic perfumes and healing oils where they are personally bathed in a timely manner and not left for hours on a set schedule. And then at night each one gets a story as they are tucked into comfortable beds made of the finest threads!
It takes a healer of at the very least the 15th season to cure insanity...and I am sure we got here mere days before the Silver Crusade themselves were transporting one in to pass out free healings-when even their own guild members have to resolve their specific conditions out of their own pockets. Yes sir...indeed! Because that's how the economic sustainability of asylums operate...the Society themselves in all their benevolence curing their wards for free and cutting off the stipend local governments pay them to house such individuals.
How would you like to be a guest here? Left with a hole in your head, strapped in a strait-jacket and wailing incessantly- not even having the mental faculties to know you soiled yourself-second after second, minute after minute, day after day.
At least in this case, death is mercy, and it is the only justice these poor souls are likely to receive!'
