Thanks for taking the time to respond to my comment. It means a lot that the artist is willing to address my concerns cause it shows me that you care about what I’m saying enough to address it.I’m glad to know that this is just a environmental context and that her skin tone hasn’t been lightened.
I hope you understand the context of my own concern. Colorism is a very real issue in communities of color and I’ve grown up seeing magazine covers and other media purposely lighten women of color skin tones toward the goal of making them more “acceptable” or beautiful. This is extremely common and is a pretty hurtful practice overall for a multitude of reasons.
I’m glad to get re-assurance directly from you that this was not the intent (but rather the specific lighting of the piece is at play here) and that Seelah’s skin tone will be preserved across editions.

It seems like her skin is lighter in the new art, and I'm not a huge fan of that :(
I also noticed this and was disappointed. As a black female, seeing someone with my skin tone as a younger girl was so impactful to me when I opened up the original rulebook. In my community, being a darker tone individual can come with its own set of struggles (I remember being called ugly because of my skin).
Seeing someone like her in an rpg book being a hero and amazing means a lot. To see her skin get lightened here disappoints me a lot. :(
Hello, My subscription is new for the campaign setting. I got it specifically so I could get access to the pdf version of the new sandpoint book.
However, the order is marked as pending and it says I wont get the pdf till the order ships. I assume other items that are shipping with it are holding up the order.
I want access to the pdf now however for session prep in my rotrl game, especially since I believe it's available to buy today...
My order is Order 5309102
This was brought up in the past- but has paizo considered making a way for those who purchase digital copies of the comic to also be able to receive a digital version of the map. I got into the comics via the humble bundle and so am caught up with the series. Correct me if this is already an option- but searching older posts in this thread it seemed like it isn't.
I considered now buying digital versions but realize I'd miss out on the maps (I think digital versions of some or all the maps of older comics I got in the humble bundle so I figured it must be possible).
It would probably be useful for someone to verify the individual store links for things like Adventure Paths. The individual links for the various groupings don't work. They redirect back to the main adventure path page. The listings are available at the bottom of the page however for individual products
Just want to 2nd this...I tried to access the pathfinder miniatures in the store to purchase a few things and am unable to navigate to them. I keep getting rerouted to a page that is blank except for the header or to the main paizo.com page.
First, really happy to receive my order (I have been waiting for the bestiary box to come back in stock for a while)
However, one of the pages (the one with the demon- Dretch (7) and dog (11) has some portion of it misprinted. All the small monsters seem to be printed higher than what the pawns are. The dog's, devil- imp's, and demon- dretch's (arms and face) faces are partially cut off as a result and while the others fit on the pawn, i don't think they're suppose to be that high (i probably won't be able to hide the names with the pawn in play).
It's a small issue but I was really excited to get this product and was disappointed to see this issue. I don't know if there is anything that can be done about it on your end? I have a picture of the misprint I can also send in as well.
Thanks and best.
I went to download it again after purchasing it a couple years back and was disappointed to see it wasn't in the app store. I just started DM-ing again and was hoping to use it with my current group.
