Velvarmisan sends out half the fleet for fishing and the rest on patrol so he does not accidently assign any noncombatants to spaces on the ships.

"Errr....okay....ummm....wait just a second," she said, tilting her head and trying to concentrate on Tyrrin's message. "What? That doesn't even make sense....can either of you cast teleportation? Artorius!" she yelled, hopefully loud enough to be heard, "I need you to come with me! Shephord, you're in charge for a bit!"

"Ugh. I think there's another threat, but Tyrrin isn't making sense and her strategy is making less sense. I need to talk to her in person."

Velvarmisan looks up from his paperwork and acknowledges Nala.

"I'll begin mobilization of the fleet."

"If we do not get an alliance with the Desert kingdom, are we going to try to get one with the forest/mountain kingdoms? Or do we send emmisaries to both at the same time?"

I like this mechanic. I just don't know that anyone knows right now who is supposed to be rolling. All of the kingdoms are scouting their territories and borders right now so I'm just going to put up rolls for the other three. When rolling anything I always go with the high is always good philosophy so 95 or above gets you there.

With the plan of the scout ships being accepted, Velvarisan asks the other students for volunteers. He then goes and inspects the fleet(s).

"Two ships per kingdom, with orders to scout for now. Add to that another ship for each scout patrol in order to relay messages."

Velvarmisan has checked in with Miss Jones and is tuning up on his sax backstage.

"You play sax? Awesome! I'm a guitarist, but I won't be in the talent show. But the band I'm in, it's called FAIN, and we're having what is officially called an open rehearsal after the talent show. Not so officially it's an after party. You should come."

"Cool. I will be there"

Pan laughed. "Well those are the kind of statements that will make you popular with the teachers, that's for sure."

"You planning on coming to the talent show tonight?"

"Yes, I am. I signed up to play my saxaphone in it."

"So how you like Avalon so far?" he asked with friendly curiosity.

It is rather interesting. What is going on here is not only nessesary, but also a good idea. I hope to help it continue or even improve.

"You been here long? I don't remember you, but I kind of tend to get caught up in my own world a lot so you could have been here longer than me and I wouldn't have noticed," he admitted with a sheepish grin.

"I have only been here a week, actually."

"Ahh, the Crystal City. So quiet after the school. Yet, it seemes to be lacking something now. Perhaps I just need to walk its streets after I make my report. Can't take too long though, have to be back for the talent show after all."

Velvarmisan walks up the steps of the Grand Monolith and into the meeting chamber of the Gestalt Mind. Seated with him were the five other ambassaders sent to Agartha that still remained. Each centers themself and enters into contact with the Gestalt Mind.

Entering into the Mind was a different experience each time. This time the images were of a desert on a world long lost. The grand expanse of sand and sky culminated upon an oasis of the clearest blue water. The members of the Mind sat or stood as thier natures dictated. From the air the scene would have appeared as a series of interlocking pieces forming a picture of the universe that seems to change as you look at it.

After making his report Valvarmisan listens carefully to the reports of what happened to the two that were lost and of whom would replace them.
Debate at the speed of thought is still time consuming, and the meeting of the Mind takes about two hours. After breaking contact Valvarmisan feels renewed and decides to walk to the market before returning to Avalon.

When he plasneshifts back he starts toward the main entrance and gets hit with a lightning stike.

Velvarmisan sends his report to his contact with the gestalt mind.

Velvarmisan finds an empty workshop and works on some jewelry.

Velvarmisan gets his tray and looks around. He spots Kiln and takes a seat at his table.

"Excuse me for not introduceing myself last night. My name is Velvarmisan Shephord."

"The Headmaster is busy at the moment. I am the second-in-command if that will suffice, and can make decisions in his place."

"Very well. If you are not aware, events on your planet have changed it.

Inside this vault there was a treaty that lists this planet, its inhabitants, and the gestalt mind as its participants. This treaty calls for us to offer aid to you if and when you choose to reveal yourselves to the rest of the galaxy. This is a copy of that treaty."

"The gestalt mind has acknowleded this treaty as valid, and has sent representatives to those factions that appear to be the most advanced, both technologicaly and/or magically, as these will be the most likely places for stability. I am instructed to enroll as student and, if nesssicary, instructor, to observe and assist with this transition."

"Good evening, I am Professor Antairus, vice pricipal and Theology teacher. How can I help you?" He asks Velvarmisan.

"Good evening, Professor Antairus, I am Velvarmisan Shephord. I am here at the directive of the Axiomite Gestalt Mind. Can you convey me to the overseer of this school?"

Across the city the crystal monoliths echoed their resonance. Upon the gestalt mind's conclusion, Velvarmisan was plane shifted to the entrance of the school. He will pull the bell cord and await admittance.
