The reason I couldn't commit to continuing was because I was lined up to GM one of the PbP Specials and I got a few wrenches thrown at me in fleshspace, which left me with limited bandwidth, but I should be able to re-join the gang, now. It'd be as if I never left? xD

After hearing the half-elf's brave approval he casts his spell bestows battle scars upon Idril.

Scarify: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 5) + 2 = 8

Scarify:
Your touch causes a single creature’s skin to produce fibrous tissue that sutures the creature’s wounds, rapidly closing them and leaving jagged scars where the wounds were.

The process is painful, and converts 2d6 points of damage + 1 point per caster level (maximum +5) into nonlethal damage. If the target creature is immune to nonlethal damage, the spell fails. Damage reduction against nonlethal damage reduces the amount of damage converted. This effect counts as healing for the purpose of stopping bleed damage.

@GM: Apologies for not posting yesterday, had to leave town for an impromptu business trip. Taking on a round trip in the same day is more tiring than I expected.

Val doesn't slit the party this time around, he heads with Sheela and the others and after seeing Idril's tale about an angel not liked at all, he begins to recite from memory some stories of Iomeade, pandering to the northern love for the ascended Chelaxian. As one studious of Gorum, the Inheritor has a few war stories to pull from.
