Is the crew for Drow of the Darklands Pyrimad at 6pm on Thursday meeting at the coffee bar first?

I already have 2 people travelling with me (BrettC and JamesH) who are going to play so I only put 4 open player slots on the warhorn.

Hi Walter.
Where are we meeting to play Doom Comes to Dustpawn?
Sounds great!! Looking forward to this.
Do you have these characters on Hero-Lab by chance?
I like your idea Robert. I'll also make a couple of characters and have someone randomly determine which one I play.
Hooray. Luck prevails.
Hello. My name is Vinny. I got lucky and won this event in the lottery. Anything I need to know for this event?

Walter are you running this as society? If so, how much xp do you get for doing both slots?
Hey guys. Anyone interested in playing some of the higher level Emerald Spire adventures on Thursday. I can run any floor up to 14.
Floor. Character Levels
10. 8-10
11. 8-10
12. 9-11
13. 9-11
14. 10-12
I can do low level floors to if needed.
Is there a short description for each pre-generated character, like class, role, etc we could see in order to choose before hand?
The Emerald Spire Super Dungeon Level One is now up on Warhorn.
It is a evergreen/replayable

If there is an interest I can also/instead run
Emerald Spire Super Dungeon Level 1 instead. This is a
evergreen/re-playable scenario for levels 1-2. This earns you a whole level. Val I would play spire level one Ok, It is now up on Warhorn

Got lucky to get a ticket to this event.
Does this particular game use the complete Pathfinder RPG rules?
rknop wrote: OK! I've added a session of "Six Seconds to Midnight" to the Warhorn that Majuba linked earlier. Somebody mentioned somewhere that they were looking for this one, and if I'm not mistaken, this is one of the PFS scenarios from the current season that's not regularly being scheduled as part of the standard Con.
Sign up if you're interested!
Also on the site is the sign up for
"Black Waters" Season 0-6
This is Part One to Season 7-05 "School of Spirits"
Sign up if interested.
Hey guys. Got lucky to win this event.
Does this game use for the most part Pathfinder Rules?
Majuba wrote: It will be - you can PM me your email address (or email the address in my profile). At the moment the characters are in a variety of formats and and I want to standardize them before sending them out. Roger that. P.M sent. Thank you. !!!Psyched Up!!!
Me too! Thanks. So looking forward to this one.
Is this character available as a P.D.F somewhere?
Hello, I got so lucky to get to game with you. Yay.
Could I play S. Idolis-Master of Conjuration
If the lottery results are delayed, will they delay opening sign ups for regular events until the lottery results are available?
I'll be flying from New Jersey but will be there real early Thursday as well. Glad to join in any pick up games you guys wanna run. I can also have ready to run
Emerald Spire Level One ( a evergreen)
Emerald Spire Level Two
Black Waters 0-6 (This is part one to Season 7 -05 "School of Spirits"
and School of Spirits 7-05. Just gotta coordinate which one. But open for anything.
RyanH wrote: Ah! ... the PFS Special on Sunday night has always been scheduled after the lottery. Last year it started as a lotteried event, but then people asked for it to be moved to post-lottery and it was changed prior to lotteries being locked in.
The problem with the way it is is that if you want to do it, you'll have to mark it as your #1, and miss out on a chance to sit in a high-demand lottery table.
Has there been any issue in the past with having the special non-lottery?
With over 200 seats for the Sunday Night special, have people not been able to get seats for the PaizoCon special in prior cons? If it hasn't been a problem before because there are so many seats, it would stink to have to miss out on a good lottery event because you had to waste a preference for the Paizo Special.
Do you have to have a Pathfinder Society Character that has made it to 9th level (chronicle sheets and all) or can you create a 9th level Pathfinder Society legal character?
Sara Marie wrote: Corrected. So, both Emerald Spire events are lottery, correct?
rknop wrote: Alanya wrote: Is there a reason scenarios 7-01, -02, & -03 aren't being offered, or have they just not been entered yet? It seems weird that all of season 7 except is being offered *except* for the first few scenarios. (And my husband and I still haven't played one of them! I know we can always try to get something scheduled in that middle slot, but I can't imagine we're the only ones looking for one of those.) Often, the first three of the new season show up at PaizoCon, GenCon, or both. That may be why they're not on the list for the season-ending cons.
When are you getting in? People usually arrange a game or two on Thursday for early arrivals. You might try to convince somebody to run some of those then if you'll be there. (I'll be looking to run or play a game or two myself, but haven't yet figured out what it'll be.) I'll be there a whole day early too. If you get any games started, I'd be happy to play/run with you guys.

TomParker wrote: Sara Marie wrote: We recommend with lottery choices to be as honest as you can be with your selections. If you have multiple things per day that you desperately want to get into, rank them all highest. Please correct me if I'm wrong but here's how I understand that it works:
- Lottery selections are made by blocks rather than the full day.
- Attendees are sorted into random order for block 1, for example Friday morning.
- They take the first name on the list, look at their preferences (which I think ran 1 to 4, with 4 being the highest), and assign the highest rated thing that is available. If I have an event rated 4 with an available slot, I get that slot. If none of my 4s are open, we look at my 3s.
- Once all slots are filled, the list is sorted randomly again and the process is repeated for the next block.
In that system, there is no benefit to ranking multiple things as a 4. No matter how highly I rate any number of events, I'm still going to get one event when my name comes up in the list based on my priority. All that does is result in Paizo having to randomly select one of my 4s or 3s to put me in.
To clarify my advice, it's wise to make choices about what events are more important to you. If you [bold]truly[/bold] don't care whether you get into event A or B, rank them both 4s. (Or rank them both 1s, if those are your only selections. In either case, you would be assigned one of the two when it's your turn.) But in most cases you do care and it comes down to which events you want to leave up to fate and which do you want to get in more than the others.
My model when assigning ratings was to assign 4 to the one I most wanted to get into. 3 was the next highest. Depending on how closely the others interested me, I'd do a handful of 2s. Everything else was a 1.
Am I misunderstanding the system? What benefit is there from rating half a dozen things as a 4? These seem to solely be ranking the order of my choices relative to my other choices. If that's... Tom, thank you for posting that. I was confused as hell with all this, but now I understand.
My home group is 2/3 done with "Shattered Star" A.P.
Does this take place after that A.P or tie in?
Yeah, the description sounds so awesome. Keeping my fingers crossed I can win a chance to play this.
