I agree with everyone here! Definitely focus on IRL first. We always have the tavern to roleplay in for now. I might start looking at the level 50 character soon too even if he never gets to play I love a good theory Craft lol

My fully buffed AC is 184, 128 touch, 66 FF My fully buffed to hit with Haste and spell Strike is: 70/70/70/65/60/55 My damage looks like this with piranha: 2d8+111+3d6 Force = 128 avg My sneak attack: 2d8+135+10d6+3d6 force = 182 avg My crit multiplier is:x4-x6 so my crit damage is between: 485-723 on avg If I crit on a sneak attack it looks like this: (2d8+135)x4-x6+(10d6+4-6d6)x2+3d6 force So my damage on crit with Sneak attack is between: 665-963 on avg So in a round (6 attacks) with 1 confirmed crit + sneak attack my dmg is 1575-1873 on avg + spell damage I also have 58 attacks of Oppurtunity that I can make everytime my foe takes damage in Melee from mythic Opportunist and I add sneak attack damage to it My saves are pretty basic: Fort:34
+2 to all saves in dim light My Stealth is gonna play a fairly large part in this too so I figured I'd include it

Quick gameplay question as the RAW doesn't specify as far as I can tell. If I wanted to take 2 swift actions could I sacrifice a standard action? Swift actions are described as such:
prd wrote: A swift action consumes a very small amount of time, but represents a larger expenditure of effort than a free action. You can perform one swift action per turn without affecting your ability to perform other actions. In that regard, a swift action is like a free action. You can, however, perform only one single swift action per turn, regardless of what other actions you take. You can take a swift action anytime you would normally be allowed to take a free action. Swift actions usually involve spellcasting, activating a feat, or the activation of magic items. So where it says you can perform one swift action per turn would that mean a second one could be performed by sacrificing a standard? My thoughts are that since a swift action is faster than a move, and you can do a move action instead of a standard, it should work. I figured I'd ask though since it is your game to run. I'm just trying to figure out my action economy per round for this fight and if I need to make any changes

If there's still time I'd like a few days to go over and make sure I'll be able to hit or else I'm also counting on nat 20s. I'm on a trip right now for my daughters birthday so I won't be able to look until Tuesday

Me personally, if you wanna go crazy go crazy. As long as I have some semblance of what I'm up against and capabilities to harm it. If you want to let us get crazier I absolutely will this is like my theory craft dreams come to life lol

Looking through the epic level Handbook right now and it just struck me, are we able to buy stat boosters higher than +12? It says: belt of physical might wrote: The required caster level increases by 3 for every increment and the market price equals the enhancement bonus squared x 25,000. So in theory it would cost like 6400000 for a +16 headband and would require a level 34 Caster, which by Epic levels would be doable. I'm good with whatever though, I just like numbers that end with 0 lol

Oh I missed the run it by him part I have the build for my companion in my bio the template I used is Shadow Animal it's a pretty basic template that really is mostly for theme but also adds a couple useful abilities to aid in combat

Realized I had misread ascetic Style Feat line so I changed all my weapons to the tripoint double Edged Sword. Mechanicaly it all works the same but now my weapon looks like this instead

Alright, changed up some stuff so along as there is a slim chance to crit I can make the most of it lol (just a re roll chance if it isnt 100% immunity, nothing game breaking) but I still think I can manage to hit pretty consistent damage in the 2-3k range per round without sneak attack and crit. More with spell combat included. Still gonna sneak around for fun though

It's definitely tempting. I'm based pretty heavy on crit fishing but I probably won't take it. Might just need a day or 2 to go over my stats to make sure I'm not too badly hampered

Yeah good question, also answers whether mythic Sneak Attack is worth getting. also @Voice of Awesomeness I sent a dm with an ability for your ruling since it's kind of open ended in it's description.

My damage is definitely dependant on critical damage and sneak attack and spell damage. However even without spells I'm still around 1.5k and I crit pretty consistently with a 12-20 range

"I could probably break a flagon too" Umir mutters under his breath "I was just told not to break things he continues muttering as he turns away hoping not to gather attention to his antics

Umir steps into the shadows and disappears without a word (invisibility) but for some reason those with true sight, see invisible or any mind readinf capabilities can't seem to locate him. Even those with Tremor Sense, blind sight/sense, and scent struggle to find him stealth vs perception for those that try him: 1d20 + 175 ⇒ (10) + 175 = 185 before reappearing. "I am a master of shadows and iaijutsu. I strike first, strike fast and strike accurately. My enemies don't see me until it's too late."

Also I believe I'm finished uploading all the stats and magic items, let me know if I need anything else Also this is how I picture him But with a fauchard instead of 2 swords And a floating crown but inlaid with saphire and turqoise so it stands out compared to the rest of his visage Also he's less than 2 feet tall, just slightly shorter than the raven he showed up with

Looking at John, he says "I can remain unseen from most things, but Divination isn't one. I wear the crown to protect my thoughts and my location. You never know what abilities people and creatures can have, no use trying to be hidden if they know your location or your plan." he then turns and looks way up at Saphire and replies with a chuckle "No need to apologize, it's kind of my thing."

A small shadow flickers through the door, almost as if your eyes are playing tricks on you. Followed shortly by a small raven which flies to the table next to a short shadowy figure whom appears more shadow than person. In a voice that sounds young and old all at once he says "I don't mean to intrude, but I overheard your group here mention the cat. The name is Umir, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." he says with a slight nod. He turns to the bartender and says "Barkeep I'll take something strong if you've got it"[b] before he turns back to the group. [B]"Now, where was I? Right the cat. If you don't mind me joining you, I too am hunting this cat." Umir appears to be dressed in what looks like traditional assassin/thief garb. However he has a crown that floats above his head and his feet are bare (which is barely noticeable with the colour of his skin)the only thing that seems off is that he is bunder 2 feet tall just slightly taller than the raven that sits next to him

Almost fully done uploading my character, I will have magic items and my animal companion typed up tomorrow. I've done my best to supply links to most 3pp stuff other than stuff from mythic spheres of power rules
Voice of Awesomeness wrote:
In the original post you said we could boost armor past +10 without limit if we spent 2 per +2, is that still available? If not I have some changes to make lol
This is my soft submission, I have to fully write out his stats, abilities and gear still. I've got most of my decisions made just a couple more tweaks to make here and tbere. I should hopefully have him fully uploaded by the end of the week though. I've been leaning heavily into shadows with this character, between hiding in the shadows to using shadow spells to replicate other spells. All together a very shadowy character |
